Right here. Guess I had a slow day today.

Was Triple H vs Kane title for title? WWE.com gives Triple H a title reign, wrestling-titles does not. Newzbytes is down, making this process seem almost not worthless.

I think I want to say “sealed” instead of “finished”. I’m not totally sure what I want to say. Let me think about it.

Heat, which ended up when it was getting intersting. And last week’s Heat, which was never going to be intersting.

I need some Velocity.

I may have some more stuff to post later; I’m not sure if/what I’m going to write up on the ELL-MEX show, but I wanted to get this up and post some stuff on the other site first.

You know what’s great? I was about to watch people do major physical damage to another, but I really wanted to eat Honey Nut Cheerios while I was watching. And then I rembered I could pause the show, go get my cereal, and eat while watching people bleed. What a world.

Joe Rogan has convinced me I never want to have a beard. Maybe even never go a day without shaving again, in case there’s an odd chance I could look like that.

The announcers being unafraid to pleasure themselves and their company got a bit old quick.

Joe, Scott, James and me did a WM preview. It’s nearly as exciting as the card!(!!)

Either I don’t have Tanvir and Albert’s correct e-mail address or they weren’t around this week. It did take till WM for me to finish it, if you’re wondering why we didn’t include more people.

If you need even more WM previewing, there’s a OO preview where I sound dumb. I consistently hate my writing after reading those. It’s total torture to write for me to express what I’m thinking in those, and it never comes out sounding correct.

Hope WM21 is good.

Velocity was good. Somewhat. I was really disappointed when they says Heidenreich was wrestling next in the second half of the program. Not as much because it was a bad match, because I can ignore bad matches pretty good, but because I was hoping we’d get two segments of the closing tag match instead of just one.

I think, on SD!, Eddie should tune up for Rey by facing London.

Heat‘s really in a cycle of awful lately. The good thing on the RAW side is they’ve cycled most of the worthless guys out of the main event picture, but that means it cycled them right to Heat. Add in the guys who seem to have been doing the same things forever (Val, Hurricane, La Resistance, Rhyno) and it’s so

What does it say about the creative side when their big idea characters are flopping, though?

• Simon Dean – huge investment in buildup, not a single meaningful feud: complete failure
• Gene Snitsky – got over by accident, gotten less over every moment since, to the point where Coach and Grisham were wondering how long he’d last in the WWE on Heat
• Chris Masters – on Heat. Closer to being over in ROH than WWE
• Mumahhad Hassan – over? Close enough. But if he’s losing to HBK (like one would expect unless Angle shows up – and they’ve already done that), and getting beat up by Hogan (like everyone assumes), I dunno if we’ll be saying the same thing next week.

The one trend I’m noticing is the new characters don’t get feuds to work with.. Christy has a chance to be intersting – a slim chance, granted – because she’s actually involved in a feud with a wrestler. Can’t really say anything more about the other people here right now. They’ve got to do a much better job of sticking people in feuds right off the introduction. If you don’t have any rival, you’re going to be on and off of RAW, and if you’re on and off RAW, you’re meaningless. Why invest the time in before they come on the show when you’re not willing to invest it after they’re on.

Not these ideas were great to start with, but you’d like to cut down on the problems.

There’s probably going to be a whole truckload of new people come post WM. Hopefully they’ve got better ideas.

If I had to insanely fanstaby book Akio to a climatic moment in time and space, it might go something like this:

WM21: Akio shockingly wins whatever SD! does as Get Everyone We Aren’t Ticked At On The Card. Later, he runs into Tajiri, who’s happy his lowely goon won such a big match, but Akio gives him the angry stare of “I’m not your goon anymore!”

[::slow burn::]

Otherwise Crappy Draft RAW: In a special SD! vs RAW treat, it’s Tajiri vs Akio! Kick kick kick kick jumping kick top rope kick flipping kick winning kick barely to Akio. Maybe some goofyness because we’ve got to leave a rematch there.

Neither of them get moved.

sometime between WM and SummerSlam: WWE champion John Cena needs a partner for a tag match – and shockingly chooses Akio! Because they’re both cross over (film/wrestlng) stars. Akio is now a star!!! and perhaps cuts a rap album.

sometime after: Akio gets sick of Cena’s stupid rhymes and kicks him in the head. HARD!

SummerSlam: Akio beats Cena for the WWE Title! Everyone is happy. (OR ELSE.)

WM: Tajiri vs Akio, the rematch. And Akio wins again. BUT ULTIMO DRAGON APPEARS.

I’d go take the nap I seem to need, but the saddest Cowboy Bebop episode is on and I never can turn away.

Velocity/Heat

No time to talk. Trying to finish up finally watching Amazing Race from Tuesday. Who’d thunk Rob & Amber are the faces, and pretty easily.

Velocity was pretty sold, although I was tremendously disappionted with the lack of Doug talking trash to Hardcore.
