X-Fly loses his hair again, title match for next Sunday
CMLL (SUN) 05/25/2014 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [@acogdl]
1) Meteoro b Reycko
Reycko replaced Relampago Azul
2) El Divino & El Ídolo b El Yaqui & Infierno
Tecnicos took 2/3.
3) Explosivo b Ángel del Mal
4) Exterminador & Javier Cruz Jr. DQ Espectrum & Évola
Rudos DQed in the first for excessive violence, then in the second again when Evola fouled Exterminador.
5) Boby Zavala, Cavernario, Demonio Maya b Black Metal, Esfinge, Metatrón
Rudos took 1/3. Cavernario pulled Metal’s mask and rolled him up in the third.
6) Black Panther, Cachorro, Diamante Azul b Mr. Águila, Olímpico, Ráfaga
Tecnicos took 2/3, Azul beating Euforia.
A show I forgot happened. Black Panther working openers on DF shows and main events here is a bit of a stretch.
IWRG (SUN) 05/25/2014 Arena Naucalpan [IWRG]
1) Alfa b Anubis Black
billed as Alfa & Omega vs Atomic Star & Electro Boy.
2) Látigo & Omega b Ciclon Black & Hip Hop Man
Omega replaced Anubis Black. Hip Hop Man challenged Latigo a hair vs mask match.
3) Dr. Cerebro, Golden Magic, Imposible b Oficial 911, Oficial AK47, Oficial Fierro
Imposible is a tecnico now for some reason. Tecnicos took 2/3.
4) Demon Clown, Trauma I, Trauma II b Hijo De Dos Caras, Relámpago, Súper Nova
Rudos took 2/3, Demon Clown pulling Dos’ mask and beating him.
5) X-Fly L Hijo de Máscara Año 2000, Eterno, Hijo de Pirata Morgan [mask, hair, prison fatal]
Everyone was confined in the cage for 10 minutes, then they could just escape. X-Fly used a fork on Eterno. Mascara escaped first, then crowd favorite Eterno. X-Fly tried to escape but Eterno threw powder in his face to force him back down. Pirata narrowly beat X-Fly out.
IWRG recap refers to “X-Fly’s slump in apuesta matches.” Right. I could never be as cynical and as cold hearted as the people who keep putting X-Fly in apuesta matches.

Lineups
CMLL (SUN) 06/01/2014 Arena Coliseo
1) Robin & Sensei vs Cholo & Zayco
2) Bam Bam, Fantasy, Último Dragoncito vs Demus 3:16, Pequeño Warrior, Pierrothito
3) Dragon Lee, Oro Jr., Stigma vs Metálico, Ramstein, Raziel
4) Delta, Fuego, Guerrero Maya Jr. vs Skándalo, Tiger, Virus
5) Titán © vs Niebla Roja [MEX WELTER]
Titan’s third defense
6) La Máscara, La Sombra, Marco Corleone vs Felino, Negro Casas, Ripper
Marco Corleone doesn’t get easy matches – he’s always stuck with one of the annoying guys. Titan versus Niebla Roja should be really good and it’s probably the better building to run it. Skandalo is working higher than normal, though the rudo side is weaker than normal. Oro/Metalico feud moves to Sundays. Bam Bam working two weeks in a row?
CMLL (SUN) 06/01/2014 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) El Tapatío vs Marvel
2) El Brillante & William Rock vs Furia Nazi & Jocker
3) Virgo vs Rey Trueno
4) Black Metal, Esfinge, Gallo vs Boby Zavala, Cavernario, Demonio Maya
5) Exterminador vs Évola [hair]
6) Sagrado, Super Porky, Volador Jr. vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Euforia, Mr. Águila
Listed as part of the 55th Anniversary celebration. I still figure Exterminador turning tecnico is a short term idea to set up him going away and mabe I’ll still be right.

Update:
AAA says this card is “not official”. Which is completely accurate, they haven’t officially released this card yet.
Original Post:
Air Date: 06/14 and 06/21? Sure, sounds good.
Poster is found here: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=305477462949080 – note user complains about too many darn tournaments on these big AAA shows. AAA hasn’t confirmed this lineup yet and may not be able to until after Celaya if they’re holding Mistico’s name until then.
Let’s start there: they’re actually going to just call him Mistico! He’s even pictured with his Mistico mask on the poster. That’s obviously the strongest name to use him under. AAA seems to have no fear about using CMLL owned names. No idea why, but it’s happening.
That match is going to be a big deal. The Psycho/Texano match is what they’ve been build towards for the last 7 months and really needs to be a title change at this point or it’s going to be very tough to care about AAA’s long builds again.
What is going on with Daga? I am so confused. That eight way match should be really good, but I’m not sure why it’s actually occurring. Maybe this will be explained on TV next week.
The bottom half of the card is more normal TV stuff. This is like most non-TripleMania AAA big events, where one or two storylines get to a turning point and the rest of the show is a normal show. They did remember Aerostar and Super Fly are feuding – this is the first time they’ve faced each other after breaking up five months ago.
No women’s title match, so whatever the contenders match is setting up in Celaya won’t be for a while. Maybe either that or the cruiserweight title will be decided in Puebla – the next show, on 06/13.
