Titan es loco

Titán vs Niebla Roja in a lightning match: This came off as a crazy sequence of big moves live, but seems more much more connected match on the rewatch. Both guys were able to put together sequences off offense and near wins and rally back, and the big moves didn’t seem forced in or immediately ignored. They may have gone too far over the top – top rope pedigree for a random near fall was a bit much, as was Niebla Roja’s follow up extended five part set up for a kick to the chest – but I really loved how it was a classic lucha libre hold that ended up winning the day. This was really good.

Volador doesn’t let a match stop him from taking a shortcut thru the ring

Mistico, Super Porky, Valiente vs Averno, Mephisto, Rey Escorpión: Not as good as last week, because Super Porky really didn’t get to have his hand on Escorpion until the last 15 seconds, and that beating was one of the best parts of last match. It’s also on the short side, but it still had some good moments and got over the idea of the match well.

Rush’s weekly attempt to end Negro casas

La Sombra, Marco Corleone, Rush vs Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas, Volador Jr.: Fine enough main event but there’s been better of late with every guy. Sombra was barely in this match. Rush & Negro Casas have had more heated brawl, though there were good moments here. No one looked bad but it didn’t stick out.
