Match 1: Titán vs Niebla Roja in a lightning match
Arena Mexico, 09/27/2013

Winner: Titan
Match Time: 9:07
Rating: good/great
Notes: Watching back the Terra version so I can get the full god of death metal Titan entrance. Referee is Terror Chino.

Circle. Lockup, taking them back to the center o- the ring. Niebla Roja armbar, elbow into the shoulder, Titan out and both on the mat without really having much. Armbar reversals resolve in a Titan rope bounce snap mare. I think JCR keeps bringing up Titan's Occidente Welterweight championship because he's fortgetton he was national welterweight champion too. Headlock reversals, and the two run into each other when Niebla Roja thought missed clothesline and Titan though shoulderblock. Niebla Roja goes down, so I guess shoulderblock wins. Titan tells him to get back up. Off the ropes, under this time (Niebla totally not sure if it's going to happen), Niebla Roja goes over the leapfrog, handwalk into the Titanics headscissors. Amapola is impressed. Titan backs up in the corner, charges Niebla Roja in the opposite, Niebla Roja pulls him on top, but his slap is blocked and Niebla Roja headscissors out Roja. Roja rolls out. Titan tease a dive, then rolls out to chase. Wristlock and a chop on the floor, then walk the barricade, big spinning DDT- blocked & countered into a Roja toss into the barricade! There's like three months of move evolutions in one spot. Also, some guy's Fishman mask looks absolutely great in HD. So many things going on. Titan thrown back in, Roja following. Whip, Niebla Roja kick to the midsection, running cutter, one two NO. Roja corner whip, corner clothesline, repeat, repeat – no, the flipping double heel kick this time. Whip, flapjack kick by Niebla Roja, who's taken over this match. Roja messes with the crowd, poses a bit. Whip, flapjack kick again, but Titan grabs the leg and dragon screws Roja. Roja crawls on the mat until Titan kicks him in the face. Five minutes.

Corner whip, reverse, Titan dodges out of the way, Niebla Roja steps up to the middle rope for no reason and Titan springboard side kicks him off. Titan run, roll over the ropes to the apron to break, then a springboard tornillo Asai from there. Titan makes it back in first, but Roja fights him off and sends him into the turnbuckle. Niebla Roja starts to go up, but Titan cuts him off with a kick to the face. Both climb the ropes, and Titan ends up with a gutwrench powerbomb sort of on the top turnbuckle. I think that was the idea, but it missed a little. Titan backs up, runs past Niebla Roja and uses that corner corner for a pump tornillo senton. One two NO. Titan brings Roja towards the center of the ring, legdrops him, and then heads to the corner. Titan climbs up, but Niebla Roja pops up and chops him. Both up top - super pedigree! One two NO! Both are slow up, obviously. Maybe not so obviously, but should be that way. Niebla Roja puts on a waistlock, Titan kicks and kicks until he finally swings it over Roja's head, setting himself up for Roja. Double pumphandle into a Rosa into a flapjack kick to the midsection. That was way too complex. One two NO. Less than 90 seconds left. Laps tot he face back and forth from their knees. Roja wins, switching to forearms and knocking Titan back. Roja up, clothesline misses, Titan spinning DDT – no, tirabuzón, and Niebla Roja gives! Crowd boos and whistles a bit, but that was a good match.

Match 2: Místico ©, Super Porky, Valiente vs Averno ©, Mephisto, Rey Escorpión
Arena Mexico, 09/27/2013

  1. rudos
  2. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 6:34
Rating: ok/good
Notes: Porky is first, Escorpion is last, and they immediately start brawling. Referee is Babe Richard.

1: Escorpion stomps Porky in the oncer repeatedly. Punches and slaps for Porky as he gets up, and then hard headbutts Porky. The other rudos go for the Estetas' masks and get those untied and nearly off. Valiente puts Mephisto on the top rope and charges Averno, but just gets tossed up into the middle rope Devil's Wings. Averno starts his usual double powerbomb on Místico, but instead tosses Místico into the buckle on the second.

2: Escorpion kicks Porky repeatedly. Porky can't get off the mat. Crowd is loud behind Porky. Porky gets up, gets slapped a lot, goes back down. Escorpion slams Porky, getting him high up and dropping him with no problem. Valiente waits for Escorpion to turn toward him, and missile dropkick. Avernos grab hold of Averno, but he turns a boost into a headscissors on Mephisto, and Místico gets Averno with a springboard armdrag. Valiente Buster, torito, one two NO! Huh. Tecnicos with huracanrana, rudos powerbomb them, put their feet on the ropes, one two NO. Rudo argue the count, both are cradled, still two. Rudo take control of the situation for a moment while the crowd chants for Porky. Valiente fights off the rudos, leading Mephisto into a Místico springboard headscissors. Valiente Special, despite Místico almost drifting into his path. Operacion Dragon on Mephisto to take him out. Porky and Escorpion in, Escorpion hitting Porky as hard as he can then whipping him into the corner. Escorpion turns to the crowd, and now to Porky – spear, punches to the face. This is quite the ground, and now Porky is pounding. Escorpion can't escape, but Porky's warned abut the closed firsts. Porky shoves Babe Richard way, which is always enough to get the DQ.

Porky makes the hair versus hair challenge to Rey Escorpion, and makes it vale tudo to boot. Escorpion leaves without accepting.

Match 3: La Sombra, Marco Corleone, Rush © vs Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas, Volador Jr. ©
Arena Mexico, 09/27/2013

  1. rudos
  2. técnicos
  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 9:39
Rating: ok/good
Notes: Rush & Marco enter together. Zacarias is with Niebla and Negro Casas. Rush and Negro fighting on the stage, with Rush beating up Negro about three feet from where Niebla is standing with an umbrella. Niebla stops to pose when his name is announced, then just locks Rush with the umbrella. Is Volador coming? He takes his time on the stage, while Sombra waits for him on the ramp. Referee is Tirantes.

1: Volador walks down the ramp. Sombra gets the umbrella! Volador stops walking. Sombra backs off and toss the umbrella. Volador catches it and threatens Sombra with it. Meanwhile, Niebla is beating up Marco but no one's paying attention. Sombra and Sombra face off., Sombra misses a clothesline, Volador headscissors him. Volador drags Sombra towards the stage, races up, and lands the big plancha. Crowd is happy. Rush shoves Negro in the corner and stomps and punches him until Niebla breaks it up. Sombra gets thrown over the ramp, and into a poor unsuspecting vendor. Hope he's ok. Niebla headbutts and slaps Rush. Volador wanders around ringside shaking hands with people, and walks thru the ring to get to his corner. Volador don't care! Meanwhile, Niebla is slamming Marco and landing a top rope splash for the fall. Volador walks thru the ring again to go back out and find Sombra. Sombra's thrown in, then immediately beat with the inverted huracanrana. One two three.

Rush and Negro brawl some more while we see replays.

Random dance performance!

2: Niebla and Negro together to knock around Marco, then Rush comes back in for another brawl against everyone. This gets him beat up by everyone. Rudos boot him out and Negro follows with a silla – but Rush catches it and powerbombs him on the floor! Sombra back in and causing Volador and Niebla to almost hit each other other. They get it together, but turn around just in time to take Aero Italia for three.

3: Volador takes off his green lantern shirt to face off with Sombra, who is talked into removing his shirt a well. Evasion, Volador flipping run, Sombra clothesline misses, Volador headscissors Sombra out. Volador goes for an Asai, Sombra tries to stop him, Volador kicks him in the head, Sombra still spins and sweeps the lags. Whip in the barricade, and now it's Volador who tumbles over. Sombra must grab Zacarias somewhere in here, because he pitches him at Volador (who catches Zacarias and drops him down so Volador can still do his howl.) Niebla spits, gets punched a bit by Marco, tries an ill advised sunset flip, slaps Marco while Zacarias distracts with his own slaps, and is punched around the ring until he faints. Rush and Negro brawl, which doesn't seem sharp as before but they are trying different spots. Negro drops Rush to his knees with kicks. Corner whip, lead to more slaps. Negro wins that, kicks Rush down in the corner, stomps his face a few times, and lands the dropkick to the face. Negro tries another, but Rush moves, slaps and trips Rush in the corner, then lands his own dropkick to the face that knocks Negro thru the ropes and out of the ring. Zacarias quickly kicked down, but the other rudos sends Rush out. Marco in, leapfrogging until the runs into a Volador superkick. Sombra in, and Niebla slaps Volador down by mistake. Niebla spears the corner on a missed charge, and Sombra follows him out with a moonsault. Volador onto Sombra with a tope con giro. Marco Aero Italia on everyone. That leaves Negro and Rush, and Rush dropkicks Negro into the corner and stomps all over him again. Rush poses on the middle rope, Negro pulls him off for a powerbomb, one two three.

Rush and Marco argue to no avail. Rush rants on the microphone, getting himself bleeped. Rush ends up charging Negro on the stage, and they brawl with Sombra and Volador getting involved. Replays and more replays and done.
