Fantasy, Niño de Acero, Shockercito vs Mercurio, Pequeño Universo 2000, Pequeño Violencia : Weird finish; it’s not often they focus on two guys fighting all match, and then have neither of them being involved in the finish. Match was alright; Mercurio was a particularly enthusiastic rudo tonight, and Fantasy was an okay técnico to go after him. Everyone else was about the usual. This feud makes just as much sense as Nitro vs Aereo; CMLL has decided to do something with the minis, but only the second tier ones (and definitely not the champions.)
Hombre Bala Jr., Pegasso, Super Halcon Jr. vs Hijo del Signo, Raziel, Virus: good match, especially given the limitations of the rudo crew. Raziel, always good, was really sharp here. Virus is Virus. Signo seemed to step up team with the other two; he was definitely more aggressive in this match. Halcón & Bala continue to look much improved, but are working with much better opponents. Pegasso was solid.
Ángel de Oro, Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr. vs Misterioso Jr., Tiger, Vangelis: A good match. Delta & Guerrero Maya are joining Titan & Triton, Pegasso & Rey Cometa, and Stuka & Fuego as set tag teams which never actually have a tag team match or a team name. To beat a dead horse, Tiger works better in this mix than he does with the guys he’s been working with a match higher, and particularly good with Angel de Oro.
Diamante, La Sombra, Titán vs Niebla Roja, Pólvora, Último Guerrero : good match with the odd mix. Ultimo Guerrero seemed to be more invested in the match with Niebla Roja involved, or maybe his going thru the usual spots just seems newer with a different partner. Sombra was the one who looked off, though that was mostly the missed finish in the second fall. Tecnicos had little moments where they were off but otherwise looked good.
