Notes: Referee is Tigre Hispano.

1: Announcers say hi to the fans in the US. Hmm. Pairs are Shockercito/Pequeño Universo, Fantasy/Pequeño Violencia, and Niño de Acero vs Mercurio.

Mercurio sneaks into kick Fantasy at opportune moments, causing Fantasy to attack him when coming off the ropes and chase Mercurio all the way up the ramp. Mercurio does a fine job of covering up and running away. The last battle is the battle of the white t-shirt squad, Mercurio winning by superkick, but Fantasy kicking him as he tries to dive. Headscissors sends Fantasy Mercurio out and sprints back up the ramp and stairs. Fantasy gives slow chase. Meanwhile, the técnicos win!

2: Shockercito armdrags and headscissors Universo around. Niño de Acero comes back from being flipped to the apron to slingshot headscissors and springboard armdrag Violencia out. Fantasy gets Mercurio with a rope climbing armdrag, a dropkick to the knee, and a cradle, but the rudos all rush into break it up with kicks. Tigre threatens disqualifying (a count in?) to the rudos, so they leave Mercurio to stomp Fantasy to the floor, then start coming back in to finish the others. Universo is half between a crab and sharpshooter. Violencia leaves his hold on Shockercito to the point of being disqualified. All the rudos kick around Fantasy between falls.

3: Fall takes a while to start. Violencia slaps Shockercito, lifts him up on his shoulders, starts for a running powerslam and then just throws Shockercito away. Violencia hands off to Universo, who kicks and elbows Shockercito out. Niño and Universo exchange slaps, and Universo dropkicks Niño out. Fantasy comes in and clotheslines Universo, then stomps and slaps him. Mercurio waits for Fantasy to hit the ropes, and kicks him in the back. Whip, spinebuster, tag to Mercurio. Mercurio in and crazy punching and kicking Fantasy in the head. Violencia is very enthused by Mercurio's work here. Whip, clothesline misses, Fantasy springboard plancha. Fantasy off the ropes, headscissors sends Mercurio out. Universo dropkicks Fantasy to stop him from rolling on. Acero heads in, armdrags Universo, and puts on a kneebar for a submission.

Niño tries a casadora on Violencia, but Violencia throws him off and knocks him out. Shockercito in with plancha on Violencia, but Violencia stops him from giving more and slaps him. Mercurio gets in a slap from outside. Whip, Violencia charges in, no one home, Violencia flips around in the corner, Shockercito hooks him in a reinera. Violencia gives, and the match technically ends without the feuding guys getting involved.

Fantasy still powerbombs Mercurio, and he and Shockercito stomp Violencia until he can escape. Rudos are frazzled, técnicos celebrate.

Match 2: Hombre Bala Jr., Pegasso, Super Halcon Jr. vs Hijo del Signo, Raziel, Virus
Arena Mexico, 08/14/2012

  1. técnicos

  2. rudos
  3. rudos

Winner: rudos
Match Time: 19:13
Rating: good
Notes: Tigre Hispano is ref. Halcón got new gear! It's the same basic colors, no one but me is going to notice.

1: Raziel and Halcón start on the mat, and Halcón doesn’t look like a geek. Did Karla just beg off from talking because she had a phone call? Everyone is busy. Actually, Halcón looks good working with Raziel, including a super spinny helicopter headscissors. Pegasso and Virus are next, with Virus getting out of a front facelock by jabbing Pegasso in the side a few times and turning into a small package. Later, Virus escapes an armbar, trips Pegasso, grabs both arms, and rolls over for a bridging pin. Pegasso pushes off Virus to get his shoulders of the mat and escape the three count. Bala and Signo are last, speeding up the option. Bala connects on a springboard reverse tope quickly, then recovers from being placed on the top rope to overhead headscissors Signo. Signo stops him with slaps, but take a trip into the ropes and the running double knees to the back. Signo slowly rolls to the apron, Bala dropkicks him to the floor, then rolls himself on the apron and jumps off to splash Signo. Raziel knocks down Halcón with a back elbow as they come back in, Halcón knocks Raziel away on a charge, then rumps the rudo in front of the corner. Top rope moonsaults misses, Raziel rolls forward to avoid, Halcón rolls thru, Raziel dropkicks him out. Pegasso in and headscissors Raziel out. Pegasso gets Raziel out with a top rope headscissors, and Virus comes back in for him. Both duck short clotheslines, Pegasso lands the Fuego like quebrada, then rolls Virus around in an armdrag into a cradle for three.

2: Técnicos continue to roll. Halcón gets Raziel with a top rope tornillo armdrags, then headstands for a while before avoiding a Raziel charge. Missile dropkicks ends the rudo tumbling to the ropes. Twisting flipping armdrag sends Raziel out for boos. Pegasso armdrags Virus a couple times before he flees. Signo decides to just hit all the técnicos on the apron instead with Bala. Bala's whipped into boots from the outside by the Cancerberos, then clotheslined and thrown out. Rudos aren't so interesting with Pegasso, though Signo does give him a hard dropkick in the corner. Halcón is thrown into about three of the corners, just not the técnicos. Raziel sets him up to and superpelxes him – is that the pin? That is the pin. It's rare to see a superplex that wasn't a counter of something. Cancerbero double clothesline Bala, then Virus drops him for a Signo top rope splash.

3: Rudos stay in control. Pegasso manages to sneak in a sunset flip on Virus, but the rudos rush in and stomp Pegasso. Pegasso grabs his left shoulder as Virus recovers. Virus low bridge backdrops him, then tags out to Signo, who hurries and covers Pegasso before he can tag out. Signo kicks Pegasso on the mat, then holds him in a hammerlock and walks him back to the rudo corner. Shoulder into the post. Signo tags Raziel, who headbutts Pegasso's shoulders, then blocks him from making a tag. Halcón comes in to argue, and is ordered to go back and leave. Whip, back elbow. Pegasso rolls again, but Raziel grabs him and whips him. Whip, spinebuster, Pegasso picked back up, belly suplex by Raziel! Pegasso crawls, rolls, and just makes the tag before Raziel can stop him. Halcón latches onto Bala, but Signo runs down the apron and attacks Bala from outside to help out the rudos. Raziel boots chokes Bala as Signo and the referee argue. Tag to Virus. Whip, double back elbow, whip, Virus dropkick sends Bala out. Halcón in and missing a dropkick, then covering up as Virus kicks him. Virus grounded crucifix cradle, two count. Standing surfboard by Virus, then into another cradle for two. Signo lifts Halcón in for a crucifix, then dumps him to the side – it's the Mascara Año 2000 Jr. special! It's also not good enough to beat anyone here. Raziel backdrops Halcón, still can only get two. Corner whip, charge, Raziel runs into Halcón's boot, Halcón charge out, Raziel stops him, spins him and clotheslines him. Whip, Halcón spinning DDT and dropkick to send Raziel out. Virus dropkicks Halcón out., Pegasso flying armdrags Virus. Signo kicks Pegasso and sends him into the corner. Signo charges in, Pegasso gets his feet up, Signo catches them, turns Pegasso into the ropes, and clotheslines him down. Signo covers up, but only two. Signo is definitely more aggressive this week. Corner whip, Pegasso leaves, Signo chases around the corner, and Halcón flattens the rudo with a tope con giro. Bala comes in with a plancha and sends Raziel out with a headscissors. No hands tope! Actually, more of a clothesline from where Raziel was standing. Virus in, but Pegasso lands on him with a top rope plancha for a two count. Virus lunges, Pegasso ducks under and inside cradles for two. Pegasso clothesline blocked, Raziel hooks the arm in a hammerlock, and cross the the other arm around it. Legs picked too – this is modified suástica, and it's enough for the pinfall.

Match 3: Ángel de Oro, Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr. vs Misterioso Jr., Tiger, Vangelis
Arena Mexico, 08/14/2012

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 12:58
Rating: ok
Notes: Referee is Maya.

1: Crowd starts doing The Wave while Vangelis & Delta are finishing up. They're not that bad! Misterioso and Maya continue, and all the wrestlers seem to be ignoring it. Crowd calms down before Maya and Misterioso can get to the zero count trips. Oro flips all over the place on Tiger, headscissoring him out before hitting a more energetic version of his usual dive. Maya makes the Stuka like mistake of putting Misterioso on the top rope; Vangelis trips up Guerrero so Misterioso doesn't even have to better with the jab. Rosa Driver, Gori Special, one two three. Oro returns just too late to do anything.

2: Rudos are beating the técnicos around the ring for no reason. Well, because they're rudos, but no other special reason. Maya is clotheslined and crawls to make a tag to Delta, , but Maya won't let it count since Delta was standing on the bottom rope. Meanwhile, Maya is out of the ring and Tiger is tagging to hit Delta. That helped a lot. Delta and Tiger just fight anyway, all Maya did was set up the cheap attack spot by Tiger (which is not the worse of things.) Tiger whips Delta to the other rudos, who hold him facing out in the corner for a Tiger dropkick to the backside. Fans chant for the rudos as Misterioso slaps around Angel de Oro. Oro comes back with a slow double rotation headscissors on Misterioso, but Vangelis take ts the técnico out with a spear. Tiger puts Angel de Oro up and briefly goes for the mask, before settling for a Tree of Woe running kick. Tiger asks the crowd if they wants one more, decides they do, and adds a running dropkick to the face. Guerrero Maya takes a whip into a Misterioso flapjack and kick to the head. Whip, Misterioso half misses on his dropkick to send Maya out, but it still works. Delta back in and kicked by Vangelis. Maya back in and flapjacked and kicked. Fall is going for a while, bu the rudos are also getting in a lot. Rudos miss a double clothesline, and Maya dropkicks Vangelis off the ropes to the floor. Misterio charges, misses and spears the post. Tiger knocks down Maya, but Delta gets him with a headscissors. Camera misses most of Maya's tope on Misterio, but catches Delta's moonsault on Vangelis. Tiger and Angel de Oro in, and that's quickly over. Casadora, mecedora, Tiger gives just as Angel de Oro is moving to a campana.

3: Maya manages to hiptoss Misterioso, blocks his slaps a bit, and escapes for a backdrop with a smooth armdrag to send Misterioso out. Delta and Vangelis are not perfectly smooth with each other, but still go as far as a slingshot headscissors to the floor. Tiger stops Angel de Oro with a superkick, but Oro flips to the apron on the next whip and gets in his own superkick. Outside in moonsault gets a two count. Tiger casita, only two. Misterioso complains about the count. Chest slap fight, avoidance, Angel de Oro rolls into Tiger's backside dropkick. Oro out, Tiger's tope con giro isn't pretty but connects. Vangelis misses a dropkick and falls in position, Delta runs up the corner and lands his moonsault. Pin there, and May connect on a reverse tope before putting on a submission for the win.

Match 4: Diamante, La Sombra, Titán vs Niebla Roja, Pólvora, Último Guerrero
Arena Mexico, 08/14/2012

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 12:17
Rating: good
Notes: Titan's mask seems to have bigger eye holes, but I may just be imagining things. Noted rudo Pólvora gives out masks to the kids. Niebla Roja enters with Ultimo Guerrero. He does not have a kilt. I do not even know who is in your group any more, Ultimo Guerrero. Referee is Tirantes.

1: A fan is a sleep in the front row. This has actually been a good show! Titan and Niebla start on the mat, an odd pick for that. Titan gets the handwalk into escape an armdrag, and Niebla Roja is just confused. Titan rolls out of it, no headscissors this time. Roja flips Titan to the ramp side apron, and holds him up long enough for Pólvora and Guerrero to attack form their corner. Roja starts to attack the other técnicos, but UG calls him over to the flying sit. Roja just clears Pólvora. UG tells Pólvora to go back in and face Sombra. Pólvora does not seem too confident about this plan, but it's just a setup for UG to attack Sombra from behind. Corner clothesline, senton de la muerte. Roja gets in his apron Sliced Bread move (needs a name) on Diamante, UG slide to dropkick Diamante out, then tosses Roja into a tornillo onto Diamante. Titan comes back in, Pólvora tries to take care of him, UG is really unconcerned about how bad an idea this is. Titan whips Pólvora to Sombra, who sets him up top and boosts Titan up. That's good for Titan – he just smacks Titan and pulls him into the Super Pólvora Driver, while UG finishes Sombra with the Pulpo.

2: Diamante takes a slingshot into a double dropkick, which looks very nice. Ultimo Guerrero tosses Titan to set up Niebla Roja's kick. UG is doing very well playing setup man in this match. Sombra turns a whip in to a handspring double elbow, then backspring headscissors to set the comeback. Diamante and Titan comes in from opposite sides with a springboard headscissors, then go back out opposite side s on tope con giros. Sombra dumps UG in the corner of the ring, double moonsaults misses by accident, Sombra pretends it did not and covers for three. Hmmm. Sombra just over shot him there, but this is becoming a pattern.

3: Sombra quickly goes over Ultimo Guerrero's head for a headscissors, sending him out. Pólvora challenges Sombra. Sombra is not impressed. Pose off? Pólvora bails after Sombra flashes his biceps. Sombra has added on a lot of muscle since he started here, it's a bit startling if you go back to the early stuff. Niebla Roja and Titan are next, but for all of one jumping kick. Titan sends Roja out with it, then UG feels the power of the handwalk headscissors. Pólvora swings wildly and misses. Titan walks up the ropes with Pólvora's arm, and slowly performs a five bounce armdrag. Pólvora bails, Titan flip rolls to the apron, and dives off with a headscissors. Diamante goes a long way for a simple armdrag with Ultimo Guerrero, then they do the Shocker/Ultimo Guerrero armdrag spot! Poor Shocker. Pólvora knocks Diamante down, runs into a powerslam. Diamante's triple jump armdrag is a bit smoother, his dropkick to Pólvora thru the ropes a bit crueler. Sombra back in, facing off Niebla Roja. Sombra challenges Niebla Roja to chop him, and Niebla regret going with it. They switch to forearms, which is a bit evener, and Niebla Roja wins with a leg kick. Roja off the ropes, into a Sombra powerslam. Sombra celebrates, but Pólvora dropkicks him into the corner. Sombra pulls off a mini Marco to leapfrog the rudos into heading each other. Rudos argue, then misses a double clothesline on Sombra. Sombra fights them off, Niebla Roja pushing Sombra off into a headscissors in Pólvora, then Sombra taking care of Niebla Roja himself. UG big boots Sombra into the corner, misses the charge, and takes the knee bump out. Sombra rolls to the ropes holds up, leaps to the apron and Asai moonsault from there, easily landing on his feet. Titan tries to dropkick the other rudos but they split and he goes thru. Rudos end him back toward the técnicos corner, where Diamante flips Titan to the apron to set up the end game. Titan stunner over the ropes and headstand rope flip moonsault on Pólvora, while Diamante armscissors Niebla Roja for the win.

Announcers say goodbye.
