La Sombra, Marco Corleone, Shocker vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Último Guerrero, Volador Jr.: Good Kid’s Day match with the not usual kid’s day finish. Crowd was very into it, even though it was a simple match by their standards. Everyone did their part fine.
Negro Casas vs Ángel de Oro for the NWA World Welterweight Championship: Even though the rudo won, the crowd favorite still won on Kid’s Day. The surprise was how it was done; this was not an UG special or a showcase match for Angel de Oro match as much as it was a Angel de Oro keeping up with Negro Casas to prove himself. It wasn’t the spot based match Angel de Oro would’ve worked with someone else, but battling for holds and hard chops. I’m not sure Angel de Oro came thru as much as they wanted – he proved he could do this stuff, though not that he could do it well – but you could tell they were trying to make it work.
