Sagrado, Sangre Azteca, Stuka Jr. vs Hijo del Signo, Misterioso Jr., Puma King: A Sangre/Misterioso match. You get hints why you might like all the guys, but the match itself is insupportable from the hundred other ones with the same group of guys.
Blue Panther, Diamante Azul, Rey Cometa vs Euforia, Kráneo, Morphosis: This match had an extended segment where the idea was the rudos weren’t trying very hard. It was convincing. Match wasn’t otherwise bad. Cometa seemed to have only a few moments to showcase himself here, but a win is a win.
Ángel de Oro, La Sombra, Shocker vs Ephesto, Mephisto, Negro Casas: Fine enough set up, but the next week is the big test. They did all they could to make it seem like Angel de Oro could match up with Negro. It didn’t make it seem like you had to see that match – it’s really tough to do that here – but that it should be a good match when it happens.
