Match 1: Sagrado ©, Sangre Azteca, Stuka Jr. vs Hijo del Signo, Misterioso Jr. ©, Puma King
Arena Coliseo, 04/22/2012

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 11:26
Rating: eh
Notes: Signo had his DF belt during entrances. I think the only one we haven't seen with theirs is Sensei, and that's because no one sees Sensei. Ref is Bestia Negra.

1: Match quickly turns in to everyone getting in a shot on everyone else. Sangre is last, and slides out to follows up on Misterioso, but that just gets him jumped by the rest of the rudos. Beatdown form there, not long until the fall. Misterioso traps Sangre's leg in a chair and hits him a bit.

2: Rudos stay in charge. Misterioso is back to doing his nose slap to little reaction. Misterioso goes after Sangre's legs, perhaps to stop him from dropkicking him low later. I don't like his odds. Rudos solidly in hold and hit mode. After a couple minutes of action-like substance, Stuka lands springboard tope on Signo. Other rudos kick him out and move as Sangre comes in with a dropkick. Sangre escapes a corner whip with a kip up, but comes down limping and moving slow. Misterioso still manages to slap Puma by mistake. Sangre misses a dropkick, but badly armdrags Misterioso out. Azteca is hurting though not broken, and apparently crazy enough to still do a tope out (then immediately grab his knee.) Sagrado starts on a tapatía on puma just so Signo can roll thru and he can dropkick Signo. That leaves Signo exactly in position for Stuka's top rope splash, Stuka bouncing high off of him. Sagrado's springboard moonsault bodyblock is Garza like.

Técnicos beat up Puma for no particular reason.

3: Sagrado sequence includes him investing a walk up the ropes armdrag/plancha combo or Puma being way out of position. Stuka is easily the most over técnico of this trio. Sangre and Puma have a chop fight, Puma moves out of the way of a charge, then goes cross ring to tag in Misterioso. Sangre is ready for Misterioso anyway, but now limping again. He might have hit his knee on the turnbuckle on the missed charge. Misterioso kicks the other leg as they start their sequence. Amapola calls Misterioso “muy completo”, which I think might be an accidental insult. Misterioso pulls a Stuka and sits Sangre on the top; Sangre shoves him off, Misterioso falls in position, low blow dropkick. Sangre does not cover, and Puma splashes him. Sagrado breaks that up, and slaps Signo at the same time. Puma is too busy posing to attack Sagrado while he’s posing. Puma and Signo bumble around, both ending out Stuka hops on the ropes and spreads his legs so Sagrado can go thru with a tope, and Stuka lands his dead man's plancha too. Misterioso and Sangre back in to finish. Misterioso tries a 'rana, Sangre powerbombs him, that's the match.

They're going to keep running the Busca promo for the rest of time, right. The “Arena Mexico” logo might be new.

Match 2: Blue Panther ©, Diamante Azul, Rey Cometa vs Euforia, Kráneo ©, Morphosis
Arena Coliseo, 04/22/2012

  1. rudos

  2. tecnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 11:56
Rating: eh
Notes: Euforia is shown walking to the ring with a red Soberano mask. Diamante Azul has his belt. Mije is with the rudos. Ref is Pompin.

1: Euforia makes a tag to Kraneo while he's in a Panther hammerlock, but Pompin doesn’t allow it. They never allow it, though this time the argument seems to be Kraneo wasn't close enough to the corner. Morphosis tries to do the same thing when Diamante Azul takes over on Euforia, but again Pompin shuts him down. Azul does a sunset reversal thing with Euforia to set up Cometa, except Cometa is a couple beats late with his plancha in. Alas. Euforia tosses Rey Cometa up, Cometa down with ‘rana, and the rudos have seen enough of this. Everyone in with no tags, rudos getting the better of it. Euforia watches as Mije stomps Cometa, then holds Cometa back from getting any revenge. Kraneo legdrops Panther on the outside. Mije gets in a dropkick to Cometa's head. Euforia hangs Cometa in a tree of woe, and the rudos all land dropkicks at the same time. Looks good. Panther fights back, gets kneed questionably low repeatedly. Corner charges for Diamante Azul, and Kraneo lands a low blow swandive headbutt. Euforia finishes that powerbomb he wanted on Cometa to wrap this up.

2: Kraneo actually looked thinner. He may just have a better fitting outfit. He's breathing very heavily here. Rudos try the triple headlock bit and are shoved off into each other, but just turn, slap the técnicos anyway, and stay in control. Triple boot and stomps for Panther. Triple boot and stomps for Azul. This sure seems to mean the same for Cometa, but the rudos just give him a triple snap kick instead. Everyone wanders around to pose. Even they're bored with this fall. Rudos could not be more lax, so Panther just gets up, helps Cometa out of an armbar, and hands Kraneo's arm over to Euforia for behind the back the pump over the ropes pumphandle armbar. Diamante Azul adds a 'rana, and that's the fall. Morphosis turns around to see what happened, and Cometa kicks him in the face. He's very confused on the outside.

3: Diamante Azul throws Mije at Kraneo, who does not make the greatest catch. Alas. Mije finds some women to hang out with. Rudos are still busy discussing the events of the last fall well into this one. Crowd very loud for Panther. Maybe it's not that Kraneo doesn't look as fat, but he doesn’t look as sloppy in this gear, because he's still very fat. Team Blue use their double tope bit to knock him down. Morphosis' chops have more of an effect on Diamante Azul than you'd think, but the rudos is till doomed. JCR mentions Durango Kid, but he's talking about Morphosis' father, not brother. Euforia goes very far on the monkey flip. Cometa has much better timing on the sunset flip reversal splash in this fall. Cometa has a few dedicated fans here, and tires a springboard flip into a handwalk headscissors here. It needs a little more work. Tornillo is easy and smooth. Other four all in, técnicos reverse whips, Diamante Azul gets his hold right away, while Panther reverses a suplex into his finish.

Match 3: Ángel de Oro, La Sombra, Shocker vs Ephesto, Mephisto, Negro Casas
Arena Coliseo, 04/22/2012

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 7:40
Rating: ok
Notes: Entrances shown. Zacarias is with Negro. Angel de Oro tries to confront Negro Casas. Negro is very amused by this idea. He ducks a clothesline, and DDTs Angel de Oro right away. They shot right into the blinking lights on this. Enjoy your seizure! Ref is Maya.

1: Ephesto holds Sombra over the ropes for Zach’s 619. Sombra kicks at Zach but can't quite get him. Ephesto quickly reliazes he just has to hold Sombra, and Zach is more than willing to kick him about. Negro kicks Angel de Oro about, whips him into the corner, suplexes him on the way back, and covers. Ref turns around, counters one two three. That was easy.

2: Angel de Oro’s mask is untied. After one cycle thru the técnicos, Angel de Oro slips in a dropkick on Negro, and topes him on the outside. Técnicos immediately get cradles for the fall. Angel de Oro continues to kick Negro around while his partners are getting their hands raised. Shocker backs Sombra off from attacking Zach.

3: Técnicos hold Negro for Angel de Oro slaps. Oro drops him with a quebradora on his own. Shocker bit includes the jarocha armdrag on Mephisto, and Zach taking a double cross chop. Negro and Oro back in. Negro's hair is really coming in gray. Or Negro is really not bothering to dye his hair this time, I guess. They have a Strong chop fight, Oro dropkicks Negro out again, but handsprings instead of diving (since Negro's long gone.) Sombra takes care of both Avernos, flips Zach, and kicks him in the break. Back to Negro vs Angel de Oro. Negro sneaks in a kick and kneelfits, but runs into another dropkick. Angel de Oro has one idea but it's working. Mephisto kicks Angel de Oro out, then chops Shocker. Clothesline misses, Shocker armdrag him, and big boots Mephisto. Shocker slide out and quebradoras Mephisto to the floor. Ephesto this the ropes, and Shocker pulls him out too. Sombra springboard plancha onto everyone. Negro and Angel clothesline each other, neither goes down, Negro back bends under a Negro clothesline, Angel de Oro steps under Negro clothesline, casadora, mecedora, that’s it.

Sombra takes off his shirt after the match. I guess he had no chance to do it during the match. Angel de Oro makes the challenge, lifting up his mask enough to get the mic to his mouth. Negro walks off, then comes back to yell from outside the ring, and it's not all that clear he accepted.
