poor Angel de Oro

This block didn’t have as good matches as the previous week, but they told a more steady story: Rush & Terrible are an unbeatable team as long as they’re a team. They rolled thru all three rounds easily, setting them up nicely for the next week, and we got some more of purposeful rudo Rush.

Rush

Rey Escorpion & Black Warrior worked surprisingly well as a tag team. They also got to work as rudos, and Black Warrior looked much better that way. I have no idea why Warrior is not a rudo; it doesn’t get noticed as much as Sangre Azteca because Warrior is near invisible here, but it makes even less sense. Marco & Ultimo Guerrero were also involved in some good stuff here, and we nearly had the battle of the people who run and leap in the ring.

Felino & Bucanero (& Zacarias) fighting is no surprise, but I think Stuka & Polvora are getting paired up as long term opponents. They’ve had the title match since this, and they should be on opposite sides regularly once Dragon Rojo returns and Polvora is demoted back to the midcard (Sagrado-land!).
