Match 1: Pólvora & Stuka Jr. vs Black Warrior & Rey Escorpion in a National Parejas Increible eightfinal match
Arena Mexico, 02/24/2012

Winner: Black Warrior & Rey Escorpion
Match Time: 5:30
Rating: good
Notes: Clip to start! Ref is Tigre Hispano.

Warrior and Pólvora start on the mat. Stuka has thoughts about rushing into break up Warrior's holds – he's the one who's gotten the holds here – but thinks better of it. Pólvora gets the advantage when they get to clotheslines and chops. Warrior puts on the break on a corner whip and comes back with a huge spear. Warrior hands off to Escorpion, and Stuka is soon flipping Pólvora to safety to come in himself. Chop fight is even. Stuka pulls off the backflip off the top rope escape, Escorpion dropkicks him in the knee on the next pass. Don’t run at him! He runs at him. Big monkey flip to the floor, of course. Warrior in, Stuka miss a kick and Warrior clotheslines him. Leverage bit to setup Stuka on the top rope, and moonsaulting on Escorpion from there. Warrior runs for his dive, but Pólvora stops him with a big flapjack. Dropkick to the head. Corner whip, Warrior slides out, Pólvora slides out after him, Warrior back in, sliding for a dropkicking on Pólvora, Pólvora leaps up, Warrior trips him off the apron. Warrior back in – but Stuka clotheslines him. Off the ropes – no, Escorpion gets in a kick. Warrior sunset flip, one two Warrior rolls Stuka back into a Escorpion dropkick. Pólvora in, but stopped. Wheelbarrow lift, Escorpion springboard dropkick for him. Stuka and Pólvora whipped into each other, Escorpion & Warrior tie up the legs, grab both sets of arms – neat two man submission. Kind of a two man campana, I guess. That's enough for the win.

Warrior and Escorpion do the Warrior dance. PULL THE ROPE. No Pólvora/Stuka fight shown.

Misterioso and Marco have a pose off. That goes fine. Misterioso rolls thru a sunset flip and kicks Marco in the back of the head. Marco goes for the big punch, that misses, Misterioso tries the slap, that doesn't work. Won't stop him form trying again. Misterioso is just hurting his hand. Marco holds him off with one hand, Misterioso sings and misses, and Marco KOs him with one punch. Fans are LOUD for Marco. Tags to UG and Fantasma. UG runs over Fantasma with a shoulderblock. Corner whip, reversed, Fantasma charges in, puts on top, kicks UG away and follows with a headscissors. Fantasma runs – big tope, driving, Guerrero into the second row. Misterioso kicks Marco. Match 3: Rush & Terrible vs Delta & Ephesto in a National Parejas Increible eightfinal match
Arena Mexico, 02/24/2012

Winner: Rush & Terrible
Match Time: 3:09
Rating: okay
Notes: Referee is Edgar.

Rush & Terrible can't even agree on who to start. Terrible finally wins that, and immediately knocks Delta clear of the ring. Terrible celebrates his victory. Delta makes it back in, ducking a clothesline and escaping a fireman's carry with an armdrag. Delta celebrates, only to take a missile dropkick from Rush. Ephesto in, Ephesto tossed in a belly to belly. Cruel looking dropkick to the head. Rush off the ropes, over, clothesline misses, Rush slides out – no, he stops on the apron, and Ephesto just dropkicks him. Now Rush is out, so Ephesto can tope him. I guess maybe Rush thought he'd outsmart Ephesto there by pulling up on the slide? Terrible kicks and chops around Delta, who looks totally out matched. Corner whip, reversed, Delta charges in, no one home, Delta climbs the ropes, Terrible knocks him off and to the floor. Ephesto back in, but Terrible moves out of the way of his dropkick and just slaps him. Corner whip, reversed, Ephesto charges, he's flipped to the apron, Ephesto slaps back, slow tentative climb to the top rope, plancha still somehow works. Rush in, whipping Ephesto to Terrible, slingshot, Rush chop, off the ropes, double stomp. Terrible stays on top for the pin.

Delta pulls himself in, but he's well doomed. Two man powerbomb, that's the match.

Match 4: Felino & Rey Bucanero vs Ángel de Oro & Psicosis in a National Parejas Increible eightfinal match
Arena Mexico, 02/24/2012

Winner: Ángel de Oro & Psicosis
Match Time: 2:28
Rating: eh
Notes: Rudos have apparently jumped the técnicos. Mije is out with Psicosis, Zacarias is already in a corner for Felino. Referee is Bestia Negra.

Rudos are working over the técnicos separately. Bucanero goes after Angel de Oro's mask. Felino kicks around Psicosis. Bucanero tosses Angel de Oro out, and they both team up on Psicosis. Whip, waved by, Bucanero grabs Psicosis, Psi moves, Felino clotheslines his partner by mistake. That's the end of that! Angel de Oro armdrags Felino out, but his pescado meets a Sugheit style kick. Psicosis fights Bucanero off and head up – missile dropkick misses. Bucanero punches Psicosis and heads up, but Felino has snuck in and put on an inverted figured four. I think Felino wants Rey to jump on Psicosis. Rey decides he'd much rather splash Felino. Psicosis did move free, but Rey was getting Felino the whole time. Felino picked up and slapped around. Psicosis comes over to help, and Angel de Oro gives Rey a good shot before turning to Felino. Psicosis boosts Felino up, but Bucanero shoves Angel de Oro out of the way and powerbombs Felino himself. OK. Angel de Oro take it home with their finishes – Psicosis finish turns out to be a Gori Stretch pin this week.

Zacarias checks on Felino, so Psicosis just kicks the parrot. Angel de Oro wants a high five, but Psicosis just walks off. Bucanero gets up, yells at Felino, and pounds him some more. Referee wants him off, so Bucanero gets up and kicks him a bit. Rey goes out – and grabs the parrot. Replays, poorly timed. Zacarias is out when they come back. Replay of that – Bucanero dropkicked him out of the ring.

Arena Mexico, 02/24/2012

Winner: Marco Corleone & Último Guerrero
Match Time: 1:12
Rating: eh
Notes: Referee is Bestia Negra.

Escorpión and Warrior are rolling right away, running the others into each other and booting out Marco. Takedown + catapult hold for UG, setting up a Warrior legdrop. Armoc backin, but both men on him. Double suplex, ugly quebrada. Warrior watches, but doesn’t even bother waiting for the two count to pick him back up. Marco whipped to UG, who flips him to the ramp. UG clotheslines the other two, then picks them back up – Aero Italian. One two three.

UG and Marco have a bit of an argument about Marco taking out UG with that move. UG is okay when he's assured theyw on the match, but he's hurting a little bit.

Match 6: Rush & Terrible vs Ángel de Oro & Psicosis in a National Parejas Increible tournament quarterfinal match
Arena Mexico, 02/24/2012

Winner: Rush & Terrible
Match Time: 5:00
Rating: good
Notes: Referee is Tigre Hispano. Mije is watching on.

Terrible and Psicosis start. Shoves turns to slaps. Terrible off the ropes, over, under, into a monkey flip. Psicosis follows up with shoulderblock, Terrible shoves him to an arriving Rush, Psicosis with a push off headscissors on him, and rolling out of the way of Rush's senton . Angel de Oro in for a boost dropkick to end the unmasked duo out – inside out moonsault, superman dive by Psicosis. Everyone out on one side of the ring.

Angel de Oro and Rush. Rush shoves his former partner. Oro gets the crowd to chant means things at Rush! That just makes him stronger! Fans don’t go with it anyway. Chops by Angel de Oro have no effect. They sure do the other way, Angel de Oro leveled. Rush punches him in the gut and pounds him on the back of the head. Crowd boos, and Rush kicks the bottom rope and shakes the top. Very angry. Running kick to the chest. Lefts and rights to the upper body., closed firsts. Angel de Oro whipped, over, a handspring flip, clothesline misses, Angel de Oro flips to the apron, Rush misses a kick, Oro superkicks him. Outside in moonsault, one two NO. Oro clothesline caught, Rush lifts him up and drops him with a fireman's carry powerbomb. One knee cover one two – Psicosis pulls him off into a cavernaria! Terrible breaks up the pin. Whip, drop toe hold, kick to Psicosis' face. Whip, reversed, Psicosis quebradora, and a second. Psicosis turns Terrible around and set up – tapatía? Psicosis sees Rush coming and stops, but Rush still throws him down by the wig. Hair. Whatever. Rush and Terrible chop Psicosis, and take turns holding him for the other to hit. This goes well without incident, but they are distracted staring at each other and Psicosis gets in a couple shots. They hit him many more times. Whip, Rush belly to belly suplex, dropkick to the face. Angel de Oro in, shoulderblock knocks him down. Rush whips him to Terrible and takes Psicosis himself. Double underhook piledriver, air raid crash, one two three.

Winner: Rush & Terrible
Match Time: 4:42
Rating: ok
Notes: Marco and UG walk out of the ring, but Terrible and Rush meet them with punches and kicks on the ramp. Despite just having a match, Rush & Terrible get the much better of it. Referee is Babe Richard.

Rush has no problems with UG, but Marco turns it around on Terrible in the corner, slapping him back. Terrible chest with a punch to stop Marco for a while, and then kicks him in the chest. Lots of hard shots by the rudos – that's what Terrible & Rush clearly are here. UG corner whipped, Rush and Terrible get lost on their own charges but figure it out for clotheslines. Rush kicks Marco questionably low. Choke on the ropes from one partner to another. Terrible backs off and headbutts and punches UG around. Marco whipped into UG's corner, and Rush and Terrible follow with more clotheslines. Whipped the other way, Marco kips up over the charging duo, leapfrog over UG, leapfrog over UG going back the other way, leapfrog over Rush, under Terrible clothesline and a springboard clothesline on Terrible as UG drops Rush with a quebradora. Marco throws Terrible down by his hair and kicks him as UG beats Rush over by the announce desk. Rush fights back, taking it back to the ring. Rush slips in, and totally catches Marco (and the crowd) off guard with a superkick. Pose. Whip, Marco double clothesline misses, rudos dropkick him hard to the apron. Back to both chopping UG. Discussion time. Whip, clothesline misses, UG dropkicks both. UG gathers them up again, Marco sets, runs – Aero Italiano connects! One two NO! Rush up – back suplex and senton for UG.
