CMLL (TUE) 12/20/2011 Arena Mexico [CMLL]
1) Apocalipsis & Bobby Zavala b Enrique Vera Jr. & Soberano Jr.
2) Eléctrico, Fantasy, Último Dragoncito b Pequeño Olímpico, Pequeño Warrior, Pierrothito
3) Rey Cometa, Titán, Triton b Hooligan, Loco Max, Skándalo
Titan & Triton finally win! They had to fight to Tuareg to do it, but a win is a win.
4) Felino, Negro Casas, Rey Escorpion b Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr., Metro
CMLL recap says the tecnicos put aside their differences and acted like professionals. They still lost. Tiger (and Amapola?) was a guest announcer and argued with Felino.
5) Ángel de Oro, Atlantis, Rush DQ Dragón Rojo Jr., Mr. Águila, Volador Jr.
Dragon Rojo and Angel del Oro continue to feud, Dragon fouling Oro here.
A Dragon Rojo post match interview hints a middleweight title defense vs Angel de Oro.
Other News
Black Terry Jr. has put up the Yakuza vs Herejia match in one two three four parts.
Quien Por Pinta Corona posted interviews with winners Dinastia, Magnifica, and Daga, who explains his whole character and attitude is based on his parents getting divorced at age 6 and never seeing his father again. He also strongly credits Marcos Contreras’ Coliseo Coalaco lucha libre class with changing his life.
Amo de La Lucha continues to post matches from the last IWL show: here’s Daga vs Juvi vs Tony Rivera. Can we stop with the “Juvi is deciding to go to CMLL or AAA” story, already? The only thing more insane that that story is Juventued Guerrera himself. Juvy has begged AAA to go back in recent years, and they’ve turned him down. He’s never going back there unless there’s a dramatic shakeup in leadership. I don’t think CMLL’s high on him either, and the only people really using Juvi right now are people who are using Fuerza Guerrera; Juvi is Hijo del Pantera. This is just Juvi trying to create buzz for Juvi. It’s an admirable goal and I hope it works out great for him, but it’s not going to get him a job in either of the major promotions.
Rob has highlights of 11/29/11 CMLL.

Lineups
CMLL (SUN) 12/25/2011 Plaza de Toros Torreon
3) Bobby Zavala & Vector vs Black Boy & El Árabe
4) Misterioso Jr., Tauro, Voraz vs Hijo del Soberano, Pequeño Halcón, Soberano Jr.
5) Dragón Rojo Jr., Euforia, Último Guerrero vs Ángel de Oro, Ángel de Plata, Stuka Jr.
Just confirmation that Ultimo Guerrero is not in the heavyweight title tournament because he’s here. He had done a Luchas2000 interview talking about wanting to win the vacant title, and he probably could’ve have had them pick a date he was available for, but did not.
That would be the first Angel de Plata match in two months. Injury was originally thought to keep him out two weeks.
CMLL (TUE) 12/27/2011 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) Thunder Boy vs In Memoriam
2) Hierro & Metatrón vs Ángel del Mal & Gran Kenut
3) Goya Kong, Lluvia, Silueta vs La Comandante, La Seductora, Zeuxis
4) Dragon Lee, Fuego, Guerrero Maya Jr. vs El Alebrije, Histeria, Pólvora
5) Máscara Dorada, Máximo, Rush vs Ephesto, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas
A show! They ran a women’s match last night and are running a women’s match this show, and aren’t using the any of the same luchadoras between them. Actually, only person working back to back Tuesdays is Maximo.
AAA TV (TUE) 12/20/2011 Plaza de Toros Chilpancingo, Guerrero [AAA]
1) Mascarita Dorada & Octagoncito b Mini Histeria & Mini Psicosis
2) La Braza & Pimpinela Escarlata b Jennifer Blake, La Hechicera, Sexy Star
Inexplicably a handicap match. Casandro was supposed to be on the tecnico side and was replaced by La Braza, but La Hechicera was also added to the ruda side. Maybe Hechicera was there to lose; Brazo splashed her for the win.
3) Argenis, Atomic Boy, Fenix b Dark Dragon, Tigre Cota, Tito Santana
Tecnicos won via Fenix flying double knee to Dark Dragon. El Consejo (Toscano, Terrible and Mascara Ano 2000) ran out, attacked the tecnicos, and left thru the crowd.
4) Nicho el Millionario b Joe Lider
Seconds were Tiger Cota and Jack Evans, but Perro and Hector got involved by the end. Nicho got the win, and Lider challenged him to a no-referee cage match with the loser losing their hair. Nicho seemed to have no problem with that idea.
5) Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown b Chessman, Halloween, Súper Fly
Prior to the fourth match, Konnan, LA Park, Chessman and Jennifer had all come to the ring to brag about La Sociedad having all the titles but the cruiserweight one. (Gotta trick Jack into defending it, somehow.) Joaquin interrupted the party to point out Konnan was now up to 250K in fines after Guerra de Titanes. They weren’t specified, but this is probably the run-ins and harassing Marisela again. Joaquin also wanted to know if Konnan was responsible for El Consejo. It doesn’t sound like Konnan really answered, because he was interested in a different question – why did El Consejo not attack LA Park? LA Park told Konnan to figure out. Segment ended with Dorian, Joaquin, LA Park and Konnan all claiming no responsibility for Consejo, but Konnan being sure that one of them was lying. Super Fly refused to work with his partners in this match. Halloween turned on him with a piledriver, and the Clowns pinned Fly for the loss. El Consejo ran in again after the match, attacking the Clowns, then surprising the rudos by attacking them as well. They escaped thru the crowd again.
6) El Mesías & Jack Evans b el Hijo del Perro Aguayo & Héctor Garza
Garza was the “surprise” Perro. Jack again pinned Perro by surprise.
7) LA Park & Octagón DQ Dr. Wagner Jr. & Extreme Tiger
Wagner hit Tirantes for the DQ. El Consejo hit the ring a third time after the match, attacking Wagner, Tiger and Octagon, with Park staying far away. La Sociedad and AAA both ran out to drive Consejo off, but the two sides did not get along with each other. Texano got a microphone long enough to declare El Consejo the only world class luchadors and promised more members to join them.
Projected Air Date: 01/21 or 01/22 or some other time
That’s a lot of italic text. They’re going full bore with El Consejo. I think this is a tough time to do this – like, they need to skip the vacation and not air recap shows for three weeks this year – but they have people believing in their story and that’s the best you can do.
Something’s up with Casandro & AAA, since this is two straight shows of being advertised and not being there. Mystery Perro seems more just like being unsure who’d be there than a missed surprise, but they’re obviously working on bringing people in.
Next taping: 2012. Some place. I’ll let you know.
