Random foul leads quickly a singles match, which is slightly better than no match at all.
CMLL (TUE) 11/01/2011 Arena Mexico [CMLL, Kaiser Sports]
***Fan Apperciation Day, November (TUE)***
1) Bengala & Camaleón b Cholo & Ramstein
2) Demus 3:16, Pequeño Nitro, Pierrothito b Astral, Eléctrico, Último Dragoncito
Ultimo Dragoncito replaced Pequeno Maximo
3) Loco Max, Nitro, Skándalo b Diamante, Fuego, Guerrero Maya Jr.
4) Delta, Máximo, Super Porky DQ El Alebrije, Olímpico, Shigeo Okumura
Okumura replaced Histeria. Tecnicos took 2/3. Olimpico fouled Maximo for the DQ.
5) La Máscara, La Sombra, Rush b Averno, Psicosis, Volador Jr.
Tecnicos took 2/3. Mascara got Averno with the campana again. He challenged for Averno’s NWA title. Averno agreed – as long as it happened behind closed doors and none of the people could see it. The people booed.
Averno’s had good experience in matches without fans of late.
Volador is…Darth Maul?

I’m not purposefully trying to do short updates, but there’s not a lot going on this week.
Villano V is out of the hospital, after spending four days there with kidney damage. He’s unsure if he’ll make the Todos x el Todos show, though he plans to talk Hijo del Santo about Villano IV maybe taking his place. (Link via Box Y Lucha’s forum.)
Kaiser Sports notes a few familiar names were missing from or downplayed in CMLL’s Dia de los Muertos artwork. People play politics even when choosing which dead to honor.

It was quite a season. The highs, the lows, the other two episodes. I am going to miss this show for being a somewhat moderate point between AAA’s constant seriousness and CMLL’s indifference, finding a sweet spot of goofiness. Lucha Libre USA did their best to get personallities over; I wasn’t always a fan of which personalities they chose and what directions they took them, but they tried hard and they tried hard with pretty much everyone. There needs to be more people wrapped in their own capes and carried away in lucha libre.
