don't pick Alan Stone for your co-ed softball team

recap

Aerostar, El Elegido, Laredo Kid vs Alan Stone, Chris Stone, Súper Fly: so we kind of find out what happens if no one catches Aero’s blind reverse tope to the floor (answer: it hurts a lot). This was fine for a place keeping match, and Super Fly even won a match clean.

Dragon Flip

Drago, Joe Lider, La Parka vs Charly Manson, Cibernético, Escoria: The booking was right for Drago’ debut, and you can tell they’re actually trying because they actually came up with a name for his finish (or they just randomly blurted out one, but let’s give the benefit of the doubt.) I wish more off his offense looked better – there were a few more things that went wrong than they’d would’ve liked in this match. His appearance made him standout but they still are going to have do more.

  1. So we’re back to one person catching Aero Star?

Drago’s debut was quite impactful and he’s an exciting talent.

I wish they had been patient and found someone with talent to play Taboo because it’s a great gimmick. That mask is awesome and I think it could have been great if only the wrestler had talent.

  2. @LLL: Technically, we’re back to zero people catching Aerostar. Not a fun way to go.

I believe Taboo’s spot has more to do with wanting to give the particular person a spot rather and not having a gimmick in mind and choosing a guy who was not ready. (This was not a Vipers 3.0 situation.)
