Fenix

taped @ Gimnasio Agustin Milian, 01/27/2011

Atomic Boy, Fenix, Gato vs Dark Dragon, Tigre Cota, Tito Santana: A fine debut for Fenix and Dark Dragon; now we just need to narrow down which DTU guys they were. Those two were the clear focuses here, which is nice enough for their debuts, but Atomic Boy got to do some Atomic Boy things as well. Nearly 9 minutes for an opener on a five match show was great.

Billy Boy, Sexy Star, Yuriko vs Fabi Apache, Gran Apache, Pimpinela Escarlata: Usual mixed tag it seems like they’ve been doing forever. If Billy has no role to play in the current Hijo de Tirantes/Apaches melodrama, then I sort of wish they would’ve kept him in the opener and put Cota or Santana here to keep attention away from the previous melodrama. (Or maybe that’s two back now – is Aerostar still crushing on Fabi? Is this all beside the point? Yes, probably.)

Aerostar & Octagón vs Chris Stone & Súper Fly: This was the match that got shafted on time, which was fine because it didn’t feel like it was going to be much good and the finish wasn’t going to be much fun either way. At this point, evil Super Fly seems about even with evil Volador, but Super Fly ups his evilness on upcoming shows.

Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown vs Amadeus, Charly Manson, Escoria: Even though they don’t seem to use Amadeus much, I think he might be around the Bizzaros for a long time. Someone needs to eat the pins. A lesser version of the usual Psycho Circus win.

Dr. Wagner Jr. & El Mesías vs Chessman & Zorro: Zorro wins clean! This only happens about twice a year, we really should celebrate it. Mesias did not look to be in great shape and had a limp during the match. Winter break must’ve been rough!
