AAA on Televisa #929 (03/13/2010)

taped Gimnasio De La Unidad Deportiva, Toluca, Estado De Mexico, 02/18/2010

– Aerostar, Laredo Kid, Súper Fly vs Billy Boy, Decnnis, El Brazo: I don’t want to ask what the point of Hilario is, because that’s a culdesac of thought. But – does it really make sense to give Guapito a bodyguard? The two things Guapito has going is Being Guapito, and getting beat up on occasion. He’s probably not change those things, so any bodyguard is going to look ineffective. It’s kind of silly, sillier than a blue painted asylum escapee

– Mascarita Sagrada, Mini Charly Manson, Octagoncito vs Mini Abismo Negro, Mini Histeria, Mini Psicosis: they’ve not been as good late. Or at least this one didn’t work for me.

– Extreme Tiger, Jack Evans, Rocky Romero vs Alex Koslov, Joe Lider, Nicho el Millionario: Is there a storyline explaining why Hijo de Tirantes can be evil again after being warned not be? I understand it’s an excuse so Piero can end the show pulling Hijo del Tirantes out and making the count for the tecnicos, but what was the point of him being forced to play it straight? This was on the short side for this sort of match.

– La Parka Jr., Marco Corleone, Pimpinela Escarlata vs Dr. Wagner Jr., Electroshock, Silver King: This was not particularly good, but the finish was well done.

– El Mesías & Latin Lover vs Chessman & Zorro: this finish was NOT well done. Of all the stuff for AAA to cut out, Latin and Chessman completely blowing a finish is an odd thing to leave in. I refuse to believe they were planning to have Chessman win Rey de Reyes at this point.
