– Gato Eveready, Lasser Boy, Relampago vs Rio Bravo II, Tigre Cota, Tito Santana: and so, in week 2, the announcers start of the match by calling Lasser Boy “Super Boy” for a while, then he loses clean to a guy who’s only on TV half the time and booked as an opening card act. CMLL put more effort into Dragon Rojo, and it wasn’t even their movie! Oh well.
– Fabi Apache & Mari Apache vs Alex Koslov & Sexy Star: far better than I expected. Alex sold like crazy for the Apaches, like they were a serious threat. He got the win, but it was not an easy one. Extreme Tiger is kind of a jerk.
– Crazy Boy & Extreme Tiger vs Joe Lider & Nicho el Millionario: if I wasn’t so done with the Hermandad, I think I would’ve been okay with this. Seven minutes to the point, and the right guy took the pinfall.
– Cibernético, Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown vs Alex Koslov, Chessman, Konnan, Zorro – Cibernetico seemed pretty fine for getting the crap beat out of him last week. This was good when the CiberClowns were on offense, less so the other way. I don’t know if it’s the people involved or because there’s no real set units in the Legion, but there’s never a lot of teamwork stuff with the Legion.
– El Mesías & Marco Corleone vs Dr. Wagner Jr. & Electroshock: Usual bit with all four guys. Finish looked good.
