11/29-30 Lucha Times

box. There will be posts tomorrow. A bunch.

AAA-US: Instead of airing lucha libre Saturday afternoon, there’s a El Chavo del Ocho marathon. It’s on the usual Saturday overnight and Sunday afternoon tapings, but they may end up rerunning last week’s episode. That’d be fiercely annoying.

FSE: Preview lists Averno vs Mistico, which means the big Mistico/Dorada/Sombra teamup comes over here. The Infernales/Stuka/Flash feud should be here as well. They rarely run two feuds at once, but the Arena Mexico segunda has Flash & Stuka as well, and they don’t put the same wrestlers in two matches on the same show if they can avoid it.

52MX: So perhaps Tuareg vs Flash/Stuka/Faraon, Guerreros vs Tecnicos

AAA-MEX: DGM, Zorro vs Latin Lover, Mesias joins the AAA side. This is always listed as 2:30 in Mexico, always airs as 2:00 in the US. Are they recruiting it for the States, or is that wrong?

CMLL: Mistico with the returnees vs a Pesta/Guerreo hybrid

C3: countdown to Loco Max/Mictlan (the new Leono)

  1. I think AAA will have the Iraputo taping since it was the teleton show. The also announced a taping after GdT but before Chilpancingo, so it might mean that they have everything full for the rest of the year if GdT is a 2 week deal. Maybe they won’t be taking and off time this season?

  2. Hmmm… result correction: Opener went to the tecs, it wasn’t a no-contest. The Cuban killed them after the match.

  3. For a guy who just lost complete control of his company, Roldan sure gets to come out a lot with his AAA security (they have AAA t-shirts…) and make lots of decisions that piss the Cuban off (who is supposed to be running AAA).

  4. Zoom-in of Konnan/Vamp having a staredown is perhaps the most homosexual thing next to when HHH/Vince used to do the exact same thing.
