• Brock Lesnar talks in ring to hype the #1 Contender and WWE Title matches tonight.

• Too Cool (Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty) d. WWE Tag Team Champions The Basham Brothers (w/Shaniqua) in a non-title match
  • Rikishi Samoan Drop Danny, 5:41
  • Shaniqua walked out on her team post match, though it's not clear that it's a permenant split.
• Paul Heyman skit backstage
  • Dawn Marie is working for him, but Paul makes it clear it's not a Vince/Sable deal
  • Hardcore Holly is still suspended
  • Dawn is sent to fetch Shannon Moore

• Paul Heyman is flanked in the ring by Matt Morgan and Nathan Jones
  • He calls out Shannon Moore
  • He's been so happy with Moore taking a beating from Morgan and Jones, now Moore gets to do it with Big Show.
• Big Show (Hog Log, 1:55) Shannon Moore
  • Hog Log is his leg drop/Eye of the Hurricane move
• Tale of the Tape: John Cena vs Chris Benoit

• Jamie Noble wants Nidia to stay in the back, because she's cost him the last two matches. Nidia eventually agrees, but Jamie changes his mind.
• Jamie Noble (w/Nidia) (roll up, 2:55) Sakoda (w/Tajiri)
  • Jamie brought blind Nidia in and used her to knock over Sakoda.
  • Post match, Jamie said that it was Tajiri's guys who did it.
  • That'd be a clever way for Jamie to see if Nidia can see, if he's still wondering
• Replay of the end of the battle royale from last week
• Josh interviews John Cena for his thoughts about the #1 contenders match. Benoit interupts to get in his two cents.

• Chris Benoit (Crossface, ~16:00) John Cena to become the #1 Contender to the WWE Title
  • Cena got an apparenty victory ~6:00 via F-U
  • Benoit's foot was on the ropes on the pin, which was only noticed after.
  • However, with the aid of Brian Hebner and a replay, Nick Patrick ordered the match to be continued.
  • Commerical break after the false finish

• Big Show showed up, distracted Cena and got punched just before the finish. Enough to make it screwy, not exactly enough to make it direct

• Replay of the finish of the #1 Contenders match. Hype for the title match.
• Chavo, still hurting from the knee, tells Eddy that he doesn't to come out for his match. He wants to do it on his own.

• Chavo Guerrero (Eddie Frog Splash, 3:42) Shelton Benjamin (w/Charlie Haas)
  • Eddie does show up, driving a low rider but taking a seat in front of it to watch the match
  • When Chavo has a near fall on a DDT, Haas jumps on the apron to distract the ref and Chavo
  • Eddie takes advantage with the Frog Splash, and Chavo covers for the win, probably not having known.
  • Post match, Chavo is unhappy that Eddie came down for the match. He may or may not know that Eddie got involved.

• Tazz and Cole pretend to play Final Fantasy X-2, (sponsor of Armaggedon)
• Brock Lesnar highlight package
• Josh interviews Chris Benoit, who adds one more highlight - Brock tapping out to the Crossface at Survivor Series

• Brock Lesnar (c) (referee stop due to unconsiousness, in Stretch Muffler variant, ~18:00) Chris Benoit to retain the WWE Title
  • Lesnar suffered some bleeding from the nose before a break

• Benoit survived the F5, so Brock pulled out a half crab/stretch muffler like move, sitting on Benoit's back.
• Besides the F5, Benoit's back had taken a chair shot and two FUs from the Cena match.
• Brock tapped out to the Crossface again, but Brian Hebner was knocked out.
• Benoit was on the verge of tapping, but passed out.
