the power is - ah, Kitna finally lost the game. Open.
LIVE! Albany, NY! Todd is shouting because there are many people there! Your hosts are Coach and Todd, and they're inside but looking chilly. This will change Carlito's life! He'll never be the same man again! Also, five other guys.
NYR: Carlito vs Kurt Angle vs Kane vs Shawn Michaels vs Chris Masters vs John Cena [WWE, Elimination Chamber]
Look! The cage is here and lit with strobe lights!
NYR: Triple H vs the Big Show
NYR: Trish vs Mickie James [WOMEN]
Is it mindgames? Is it not?
Stock press conference footage HERE. They hype Triple H/Big Show (Triple H), B& Gauntlet (Candice) and Elimination Chamber (HBK, Masters, Kurt, Cena) - what, no Kane? "There is no one who's going to bring me down!" isn't quite a happy rallying cry. (2:01)
NYR 2005 highlights. They might as well not air any other video package besides the ones that hype this match, because these might actually sell something. (:42) Talking points: How will lives be changed? Who's going to win? No #1 has ever won. Kane will be last.
NYR: Triple H vs the Big Show
video package. The early idea here is that Triple H has unmercifully ended Ric
Flair's career, so please don't pay attention to the rest of the card. (3:11)
People filling in. Good for them. Little kids still love Cena.
NYR: Trish vs Mickie James [WOMEN]
video package? Huh. They completely removed Trish's color commentary, which is a
good move. Remember when they had to bring in indy girls to kiss because the
contracted ones wouldn't? Me neither. (2:15) Coach believes it's all mind
games. Coach ain't writing this.
Tonight: Chavo Guerrero vs Snitsky. Uh huh.
Ad for Orton/Benoit on SD, Show/HHH on NYR.
Coach cuts off Todd for no particular reason - oh, because he's to go join the announcers. THEY PLAY HIS MUSIC. Todd: "Ooooookay."
Stacy, Dancing with the Stars. Poor Kenny Mayne. Poor Kenny Mayne for being on this show to start with. (1:19)
Down to the announcers, which would be great if Joey's microphone is on. Lawler is not with us, and that's a very bad sign. I mean, of course he's not there because he's got to do his match, but they must like the idea of Joey and Coach, and that's no good. Coach made there in time - he had an escort to get there.
Chavo Guerrero (El Paso, TX, 210 pounds) vs Snitsky (notgonnaspellit, PA, 300 pounds) - EDDIE EDDIE EDDIE. Your ref is Chad. Plenty of time left, even with a video package to come. Lockup, Chavo with a waistlock, Snitsky throws him off into the corner, Chavo ducks out under the clothesline and punches, but Snitsky shoves him down. Snitsky shoves, Chavo slides under, kick, right, right, off the ropes, into a Snitsky press. Where will he drop? Chavo slips free and get a sunset flip for one. Chavo ducks another clothesline, but gets shoulderblocked right out of the ring. Snitsky out after him, and rushing him into the apron. Chavo thrown back in, Snitsky in after him. Boot to the head. Boot. Scoop, walking it, slam. That beard is unreal. Elbow drop. Off the ropes, elbow drop. Something about them doesn't look right. One two no. Crowd chanting for Chavo and Snitsky yelling at them. Big right hand. Right hands by Chavo, but Snitsky pounds him down. Hanging suplex. One two no. Corner whip, Snitsky charges in with a knee but no one's home. Chavo is down to one knee and nod slow to follow up, but eventually goes after Snitsky with kicks to the knee. Snitsky drops down to the bad knee, and Chavo dropkicks him over. Snitsky back up, but Chavo dropkick the bad knee. Chavo waiting for Snitsky to get up, and trying for a monkey flip! No. Snitsky sets him on the middle rope, Chavo kicks him away, then kicks him down with a missile dropkick one two NO. European Uppercut (one), EU (2), whip, reversed, head down too soon and Chavo kicks it, off the ropes again, and Snitsky beheads him with a clothesline. Snitsky roars. Pump handle, lift to the shoudler, but Chavo reveres it to a big spinning DDT. Chavo pointing to the sky and going all the way up. Feeling it - Frog Splash one two three. (4:18) Point to the wristband.
My food showed up just as Snitsky went for the pumphandle, so I went and got it instead of watching whatever followed. They didn't get to the video package till I got back, so I'm assuming they finally got around to running down the card here.
Elimination Chamber Video Package (2:30)
That's it.
