List ‘Em and Learn Episode 11 – Stackable

It’s Thanksgiving once again, and for the second year in a row, you’re being surprised with a wrestling podcast that’s going to be the talk of the wrestling world, and set download records. And then after you listen to the new “Art of Wrestling” episode, you can be one of the 5 people to hear the brand new Thanksgiving edition of List Em and Learn. On this episode, Justin Shapiro joins Matt to list the top 10 things they’re most thankful for in wrestling. They interpret the topic completely differently, so things get pretty confusing. That’s okay though, because these two really talk turkey and they give tribute to all sorts of amazing aspects of wrestling. From men to ladies to stacks of things to gifs to multiple websites, this show is a tour de force. There’s also singing, so there may be dancing when you play this show for your entire family at the Thanksgiving dinner table. It’s a podcast you can listen to while eating turkey, so check it out!!!!!!

List Em and Learn Episode 9 – The Ring Not Taken

Everyone’s 12th favorite podcast is back! This time, the king of wrestling podcasts, Joe Gagne, returns to the show to list the 10 greatest “What Ifs” in wrestling. For example: what if you listened to this podcast instead of not listening to it? The course of your life would change dramatically! On the show, Matt and Joe think of all of the times where one little change would have altered the wrestling world forever. List spoilers: what if the Young Stallions never broke up? What if Mick Foley’s last name was Jackson instead of Foley? (His name would have been Mick Jackson!) What if John Cena’s finisher was the top rope double axehandle? We go in depth on these topics and more, to help you, the listener, understand just how important our choices and actions are. Never has the name “List ‘Em and Learn” been more apt. It’s an aptly named show, so check it out!!”

List ‘Em and Learn: Episode 7: These Ain’t No Holograms

List ‘Em and Learn is back to warm you all up during this cold winter by…counting backwards. This time Matt is joined by the host of The Pro Wrestling Super Show (which can be found on the Place to Be Wrestling Network), Steven Graham. Matt and Steven run down ECW greatest matches. Both lists include the historic “Battle of the Bam Bams” and the night that Kimona Wanalaya danced atop the ECW Arena (they don’t actually include either of those). ECW featured the lewdest, the crudest, the shrewdest, the dudest, the gluedest, the Judas, and the Buddhist wrestling action on this side of the Pacific Ocean, so there’s lots of great stuff to talk about. It’s a podcast where we talk about 2 Cold Scorpio, so check it out!!!!

List ‘Em and Learn: Episode 6: Life-Affirming Life

List ‘Em and Learn is back, this time covering everyone’s favorite topic: WCW. Alan4L joins Matt to determine why WCW managed to stay in business until 2001: sometimes it had good matches. Also lots of other reasons but on this show we just talk about the matches. To be more specific, Alan and Matt list their top 10 WCW matches of the 1990s. Mystery partners, shovels to the head, double cages, and a whole bunch of Dustin Rhodes populate the lists. Sit back and enjoy a trip back to a time when many people didn’t have on-screen interactive channel guides

List ‘Em and Learn Episode 5: Looking Up (at) the Star(s) (ratings)

List ‘Em and Learn is back as Justin Shapiro joins Matt once again to count the top 10 WWE PPVs from 2000-present. We look at the ups and ignore the downs as we travel down memory lane to a time after Russo when wrestling matches featured so many slams, holds, maneuvers, and strikes that people couldn’t help but rate them with several asterisks. We tackle important issues such as, what would one be addicted to cracking when punks start static, and whose way are we going to do things. On top of that, we determine which WWE PPV comes closing to matching TNA’s epic annual event, Turning Point. It was recorded on Yom Kippur, and Justin and Matt discuss a number of events that have nothing to atone for, so check it out!”

List ‘Em and Learn Episode 4: Ladders and Laundry

List ‘Em And Learn returns to wrestling in its 4th edition, as we run down the top 10 WWF matches of the 1990s. Matt is joined by two wrestling podcast superdupericonstars, Alan4L and Joe Gagne, who both happen to be fond of matches and counting backwards. Alan came up with the idea, and he was inspired by one match in particular. Which match was it? If you said a random Aldo Montoya squash match from 1994, you’re right! Or are you? Yes! You are! This edition answers other questions as well, such as, which member of the Right to Censor is Joe Gagne most like? What night of the week did the Steve Austin vs. Savio Vega Caribbean strap match occur? Who wrote the book of love? Who can it be now? Why do birds suddenly appear every time that you’re near? Answers to these questions and more are all one click away! WE ANSWER QUESTIONS ON THIS PODCAST SO CHECK IT OUT~!

List ‘Em and Learn Episode 3: Microchips and Mood Music

List ‘Em and Learn returns for its third installment. This time Matt and his schoolyard bully…I mean schoolyard chum Roger Matthews list the top 10 games for the original Nintendo Entertainment System. Roger bullies Matt again by dropping all kinds of knowledge about each game on the list. If you thought the wrestling podcasts were nerdy, wait until you hear about the MMC3 chip. Parsing and perusing through pixels of plumbers and princesses, it’s an alliterative wonderland of video game excitement. Did your favorite game make the list? The answer is yes, unless you like some weird game no one has ever heard of. IT’S A PODCAST ABOUT VIDEO GAMES SO CHECK IT OUT!
