how to watch AAA & CMLL shows (June 2024 update)

Neither AAA or CMLL has TV in the US as of 2024. You may be able pick up some Mexican stations close to border but they’re not on Galavision or Univision or any other US spanish language channel you may be thinking about.

Both AAA and CMLL still air on TV in Mexico. However, the simplest way to watch both promotion is through their YouTube channels. AAA offers all their shows for free, though time delayed, though sometimes a long time after they’ve been taped. Most of CMLL’s shows are available, but behind a paywall with multiple tiers. Many smaller Mexican promotions are available through the Mas Lucha YouTube channel.

AAA

AAA will upload a new episode of their TV show on their YouTube channel most every Sunday night. This content is always free. Episodes may be delayed or not appear on weekends when AAA is running a TripleMania. The shows are often also sliced up into individual matches and other clips.

AAA airs their TripleMania events on Triller. These are PPVs, and offered in both Spanish and English. AAA has run three TripleManias a year fo the last three years, and Triller usually offers a bundle to buy all three. AAA will usually post an extended “best of” video of TripleMania on YouTube in the days after, and may post the full show as soon as eight days after the show. The English version of the broadcast is typically available only on Triller.

AAA episodes air first on cable network Space on Saturday nights, usually at 6:30 pm. New episodes premiere on Space about a week before they go up on YouTube. Space will repeat the last two episodes on Sunday mornings. Space will also air parts of TripleManias and other major AAA events live, replacing that week’s TV episode. Space typically picks up the final 3-4 matches from those events, with the reminder airing as part of TV episodes in following weeks.

Space is a WBD network in Latin America, but only Mexico gets the AAA broadcast. WBD’s MAX streaming service also posts AAA episodes for viewers in Mexico, Colombia and Argentina.

The same AAA TV will also air on TV Azteca (over the air), Multimedios, and Claro Sports on a 1-2 week delay. These versions may be edited differently, including different announcers or aired in a different order.

CMLL

As of July 2023, most CMLL shows air behind a paywall on their YouTube channel. CMLL’s implementation has changed multiple times since expanding their paywall, and information may be quickly outdated. Please double check for current information before subscribing if you’re looking for a specific event.

The CMLL YouTube has content for free, and three pay tiers. Each their
