AAA TV (FRI) 12/15 Plaza de Toros de Chilpancingo Results
0) Aero Star b Toxico
1) Mascarita Divina, Mascarita Sagrada AAA, Octagoncito b Mini Abismo Negro, Mini Charly Manson, Mini Chessman
2) Pegasso, Super Fly b May Flowers, Pimpinela [AAA TAG, torneo]

5) Cuervo, Ozz, Scoria b Abismo Negro, Antifaz, Histeria
6) Charly Manson, Chessman, Cibernetico DQ Gronda II, La Parka Jr., Octagon

Charly was actually going to beat La Parka Jr., but the Sect ran in and attacked him. Tecnicos and Hellbrothers rallied together to battle the Sect, and Cibernetico and Parka agreed to put their differences aside to take down the Sect.

The promised new Viper was not mentioned in the semimain, and it was switched to a six man. Abismo was going to win after a Black Hammer, but Espiritu interfered to help his teammates win.

4th match was a draw after the Sect ran in. That’s a lot of Sect runins. Juvi was going to pin “Mary Fuji”, as they spell it on the website, so maybe the Sect is working with NOAH’s bookers.

Alliens & Gran Apache did indeed compete again, despite having lost earlier in the tournament, so either they’ve completely lost track of what’s supposed to be going on, or we’ve been switched back to a round robin tournament. I’m assuming the latter:

Block A?

Mascara Divina & Oriental b Crazy Boy & Joe Lider (11/30)
Cuervo & Ozz b Charly Manson & Pirata Morgan (11/30)
(Chui, do you remember who won these?)

Mascara Divina & Oriental b Chris Stone & Hator
Crazy Boy & Joe Lider b Espiritu & Scoria

Cuervo & Ozz b Alan & Decnis
Charly Manson & Pirata Morgan b Juventud Guerrera & Psicosis II

Next: Juvi/Psi II vs Alan & Decnis vs Chris & Hator vs Espiritu & Scoria

Block B?

Pegasso, Super Fly b May Flowers, Pimpinela Escarlata
Alliens, Gran Apache b El Angel, Laredo Kid

Rey Cometa & Super Fly b Alliens & Gran Apache
Alebrije & El Brazo b May Flowers & Pimpinela Escarlata

el Angel & Laredo Kid b Antifaz & Histeria
Alan Stone & Zumbido b El Elegido & Intocable

Next: Alan Stone & Zumbido vs Antifaz & Histeria vs El Eleigdo & Intocable vs Alebrije & El Brazo

Next taping is unannounced, but probably not for a couple weeks more.

AAA 12/15 preview

Tonight’s the last AAA taping of the year.

AAA TV (FRI) 12/15 Plaza de Toros de Chilpancingo
1) Mascarita Divina, Mascarita Sagrada AAA, Octagoncito vs Mini Abismo Negro, Mini Charly Manson, Mini Chessman
2) Rey Cometa & Super Fly vs El Angel & Laredo Kid and Alliens & El Apache and May Flowers & Pimpinela [AAA TAG, qf, torneo]
3) Crazy Boy, Joe Lider, Juventud Guerrera vs Ishimori, Marafuji, Oriental
4) ?, Abismo Negro, Antifaz, Histeria vs Cuervo, Espiritu, Ozz, Scoria
5) Gronda II, La Parka Jr., Octagon vs Charly Manson, Chessman, Cibernetico

No word on the newest Viper. It’s probably either them remembering Kamoa Jr. is in the group or a guy who’s around but not part of a group they’re pushing being plugged in, like when Antifaz joined the Vipers or Hator joined the Guapos. All the ex-Vatos Locos guys are floating around aimlessly at this point, so maybe a Nygma or a Picudo (with the twist that Espiritu is so twisted by Muerte, he’s now okay fighting them).

To follow up Tim’s question, this is the first taping in quite a while with no Konnan/TNA involvement listed. I’ve rethought this main event since it was first announced; the Hell Brothers are always going to end up being rudos when they’re against the likes of Octagon and La Parka, because that’s just how their characters work together, but I think this match is leading to them forming a united front against the Sect. I mean, there’s gotta be some run-ins, so why not Muerte/Dark Family running into attack both teams, leading them to work together and what not.

Or they could just be killing the tecnicos off for good and having the Hell Brothers take their spots.

AAA’s also updated their news section
– Intocable’s putting out a calender; he says it’s for the whole family, but I’m thinking the whole family isn’t buying it (60 pesos, on sale soon!)
– AAA had an end of the year mass/party/dinner on Monday. They had a futbol game as well: rudos 6, tecnicos 3. They story also mentions they had four pinatas – two of Octagon and one of El Elegido. What of the other one?

12/15 AAA TV lineup

AAA TV (FRI) 12/15 Plaza de Toros de Chilpancingo Lineup
1) Mascarita Divina, Mascarita Sagrada AAA, Octagoncito vs Mini Abismo Negro, Mini Charly Manson, Mini Chessman
2) Rey Cometa, Super Fly vs El Angel, Laredo Kid and Alliens, El Apache and May Flowers, Pimpinela [AAA TAG, qf, torneo]
3) Crazy Boy, Joe Lider, Juventud Guerrera vs Taiji Ishimori, Naomichi Marafuji, Oriental
4) ?, Abismo Negro, Antifaz, Histeria vs Cuervo, Espiritu, Ozz, Scoria
5) Gronda II, La Parka Jr., Octagon vs Charly Manson, Chessman, Cibernetico

Ishimori and Marafuji (just listed by their last name on AAA’s site) are NOAH guys who have no idea what they’re in for. Mystery guy in the 4th is the newest Viper. Hell Brothers are already rudos.

We’re at the point where the AAA TAG tournament makes absolutely no sense, by the way. What I’ve figured out so far is here. My notes have Pimpi and May being out, having already lost to Alebrije and el Brazo. Perhaps I’ve gotten that wrong, that happens a lot more than I’d like. However, there’s no way both the Cometa/Fly and Alliens/Apache teams should still be alive, seeing as they faced each other first round. Alan Stone & Zumbido should be in the tournament instead of one of those teams. Either there’s a typo or maybe Zumbido is MIA?

11/28: Puebla, Magazines, Hellbrothers, Mistico, FSE

CMLL (MON) 11/27 Arena Puebla Results
1) Fuerza Tiger, Toro Bill Jr. b King Jaguar, Kirvan
2) Bobby Jack, Fuerza Chicana, Karisma b SWAT, the Tiger, Zigma
3) Lestat, Metro II, Virus b Kraken, Siki Osama Jr., Skandalo
4) Mascara Purpura, Mascara Sagrada, Volador Jr. DQ Eclipse, Olimpico, Sangre Azteca
5) La Mascara, Mistico, Rey Bucanero b Atlantis, Tarzan Boy, Ultimo Guerrero

Olimpico fouled Mascara Sagrada to lose the 4th. La Mascara filled in for Shocker in the main event.

Magazines
Guerreros del Ring #63 focuses on Ultimo Dragon, and 12/15 hair match.
Super Luchas #189 has the Hell Brothers.

Cibernetico’s interviewed about Los Hellbrothers. He made a pact with Pena before he died to defend AAA, so that’s what he’s doing here.

The Mistico documentary is supposed to air on CAN52’s Verdad y Fama this weekend. It’s on Sunday evening.

Apparently the FSE episode aired early last Sunday. Luckily, it’ll reair this Friday at midnight, and 3 hours later at Saturday 3AM.

AAA 11/18 Results

AAA TV (SAT) 11/18 Lienzo Charro, Cuernavaca, Morelos Results
1) Hombre Sin Miedo, Nemesis AAA, Pegasso b Angel Mortal, Policeman, Toxico
2) Rey Cometa, Super Fly b Alliens, Gran Apache [AAA TAG, 1st]
3) Alebrije, El Brazo b May Flowers, Pimpinela Escarlata [AAA TAG, 1st]
4) Crazy Boy, Joe Lider, Juventued Guerrera, Psicosis II b Chessman, Cuervo, Escoria, Ozz [MEX ATOMICOS]
5) Alan Stone, Chris Stone, Scorpio Jr., Zumbido b Brazo de Plata, Brazo de Plata Jr., Elegido, Intocable
6) Head Hunter I, Konnan, Muerte Cibernetica b La Parka Jr., Mascara Divina, Octagon

The big story from the show involved some who weren’t even wrestling – Cibernetico announced the formation of “Los Hellbrothers.” Chessman and Charly Manson, who originally said he was staying in the Vipers just until Cibernetico was back, are the other members of the group, and they’ll usurp the top tecnicos spots in the never ending AAA vs Foreign Enemy feud.

As noted earlier this week, the Mexican Atomicos titles changed hands. After all the title matches with Chessman and the Dark Family not getting along, Chessman finally got the bright idea to give up his share of the title (to be replaced by Escoria.) We’re told he changed his mind; Muerte Cibernetica pressured him, but because he’s getting a relative face here, it was Chessman’s “professionalism” which caused him to compete. And lose.

The main event had every run in, and Cibernetico’s group was formerly announced at the end.

AAA’s results mention a the Intocable/Alan Stone and Brazo de Plata/Scorpio Jr will be one four person match. Not clear if it’s a tag or a four way or if it’ll be one hair on the line or two. The best way for future success might be having everyone but the winner lose their hair – Scorpio and Alan Stone can screw Porky to be eliminated (he’s lost a ton of these anyway), and then Intocable can beat the odds by taking care of Alan and Scorpio by himself. Intocable is exactly the type of guy Konnan is not high on, so I wouldn’t expect that, but it’d be neat.

Oddly, AAA’s news section seems to contradict this, setting up a direct Porky/Scorpio match. Strange. Porky’s appearing for that to be a super libre match, since Scorpio cheats to win every time anyway.

After first being an 8 team tournament for AAA Middleweight Tag Team Titles, then being a 16 round robin tournament for AAA World Tag Team Titles (with no blocks declared), AAA is now listing their tag team tournament as a standard single elimination. That’s a lot less interesting, but much more possible for them to actually pull them out. As always, we’ll have no idea what the complete tournament picture looks like until all the matches have been announced, but I’ll try to put together tentative brackets after the next taping (11/30.)
