AAA on Televisa #1166 (09/13/2014)
Recapped: 10/06/2014

Previously: Brazo & Rayo were added to the HOF, Fantasma and Taya won titles, Electroshock and Texano lost his hair, Perro won a trophy and didn't even get to enjoy it before Alberto interrupted. Just rude.

End of Texano and Psycho is shown. This seems so long ago, but I'm way behind. And by end, I mean the last 10 minuets of the match and some post match; we're well into the show when it's done.

Cibernético asks the receptionist if Joaquin Roldan is, but doesn't want to let her know he's coming. Cibernético storms into a conference room and breaks up Joaquin's meeting. This promo is brought in by tightly zoomed shaky camera. Cibernético is still angry about Joaquin bringing in Wagner, but Joaquin doesn't need Cibernético to like all his decisions. Cibernético points out how long he's been there (ignoring the part where he was part of groups to overthrow AAA, water under the bridge) and they should focus on guys like him. Joaquin says AAA is open to everyone. Cibernetico's second problem is he hasn't gotten a title shot in five years; it's not that he wants a title (Joaquin tells him to beat Texano, Cibernético is not interested in that belt) , it seems more a respect issue. Cibernético isn't happy with all the clean técnicos either, and brings up all the groups he's led – LLL does come up here! - and complains there's no rudos left in AAA now, just técnicos. (The Sociedad are the rudos.) Cibernético aims to fix that, which Joaquin sounds less than excited about. Cibernético ends up peacefully leaving.

Match 1: Bengala & Faby Apache vs Eterno & Taya Valkyrie
Lienzo Charro, Pachuca, Hidalgo, 09/07/2014

Winner: rudos (Taya double stomp Faby)
Match Time: 9:29
Rating: ok/good

Backstage, Perro butters up someone's face we can see, though we do get a good look at his gear. Perro says the guy is great and deserves to be on the greatest events, but he's going to make a decision to join the Perros and got to make it today. The mystery man contemplates the Perros del Mal shirt after Perro leaves.

Match 2: Argenis, Jack Evans, Joe Lider vs Daga, Demon Rocker, Machine Rocker
Lienzo Charro, Pachuca, Hidalgo, 09/07/2014

Winner: Daga (Inverted Michinoku Driver)
Match Time: 11:24
Rating: ok/good

Notes: SHIRT UPDATE: Daga is not wearing one, leaving his current affiliation a mystery. They very obviously turn up the crowd noise as he enters. Joe Lider has the same kneepads and boots as seen as the mystery guy in the vignette; it had to be so intentional as to be a clue.

Match 3: Myzteziz vs el Hijo del Perro Aguayo
Lienzo Charro, Pachuca, Hidalgo, 09/07/2014

Winner: Perro Aguayo Jr.
Match Time: 15:01
Rating: ok/good
Notes: Averno is Perro's second, Argenis is Myzteziz's second. Maya is referee.

Perros' got Myzteziz's mask destroyed in under a minute (so damaged has to rip a piece off so it's not just hanging in his face the rest of the match a piece off so he can see) and hits him with a chair just at the minute mark. Myzteziz is bleeding soon after because they waste no time around here. Maya is okay with all of this. Perro takes Myzteziz outside and smacks him with the chair, then threatens the cameraman. (Argenis is seemed to be no threat.) Myzteziz billed over his body paint, and Perro wipes the blood on his face and maybe in his mouth - they pull away from that this time. Perro continues to beat up Myzteziz until he slips in an armdrag at the four minutes mask. Myzteziz sets up for a dive, but Averno trips him up, then slowly gets chased around the ring by Argenis. Perro briefly takes back over, misses a charge, almost gets his trunks pulled, and Averno rush into make the save. This is all legal. Argenis manages to shove Averno this time. Myzteziz makes his comeback for a third time, headscissors Perro out, tease a dive, handspring out of it, runs up the corner – and lips to the floor, oops. Perro is right on him, but Myzteziz reverses a whip to send Perro into the barricade, then clotheslines him over. They saved that as well as they could but the missed spot still really stuck out. Averno grabs a chair, but Myzteziz ends up with it hits Perro as he's leaning back in over the barricade. They come back in the ring, where Myzteziz punches Perro many times and gets warned. Perro sneak in a leg kick and both are pretty dead. Perro is bleeding, of course. Myzteziz kicks at Perro from the ground, they exchange slaps, and Perro gets in a hard kick to the head. Myzteziz takes Perro down but Perro kicks him away. Whip, Myzteziz handspring, waved by, back with headscissors that sends Perro to the ropes. Myzteziz points to the crowd, 619 ducked, Perro double takedown, feet on the middle rope one two NO. Myzteziz struggles to his feet right in front of Rafael el Maya, and of course Perro's dropkick ends up hitting the referee. Perro charges Myzteziz, Myzteziz trips him into the ropes, 619 hits (Arturo says it's like Oscar Gutierrez, whoever that might be) and Myzteziz lands the tope rope senton con giro. Maya recovers to count one two and Averno dives into knock Maya down. Argenis in too and arguing. Maya turns around to look at him and into the action, and Averno rips up Myzteziz's mask some more. Rudos are in no hurry here, so Argenis has to argue with Maya forever. Are they waiting for something? Maya stops arguing and grabs his heart, then realizes the rudos are still not done and has to turn back around. Double clothesline misses, Averno boosts Myzteziz into a bad boost dropkick on Perro. Averno and Myzteziz pointing. Myzteziz charges, fireman's escape headscissors sends Averno out. Argenis runs – tope con giro onto Averno. Thanks for coming, Argenis. Myzteziz tries to punch Perro from on top of him, but isn't really on top and isn't really punching. Very tired! Taya runs in and attacks Myzteziz from behind with punches to the back. Kick knocks Myzteziz down. Stomp. Taya grabs Myzteziz and stands him up. This is a bad idea. Perro off the ropes, dropkick knocks down Taya by mistake. Taya sells it like she's been knocked loopy by this dropkick. Myzteziz dropkicks Perro, and they're both out on the floor. Myzteziz off the ropes, tope gets Taya, and almost gets a wandering Argenis. Perro is unhurt, any more than he was already hurt, and h wanders back in. Myzteziz back up on the apron, and meets him with a swinging kick. Myzteziz goes up – missile dropkick. Dropkick again. Argenis slides in a chair to his brother, and Maya warns him no. Myzteziz doesn’t care; weak chair shot to the head, slightly stronger shot to the back, and Maya takes away the chair. Myzteziz shoves down Maya, takes the chair back, hits Perro a few more times, and Maya takes the chair away again. Maya backs Myzteziz back into the corner, and Perro pulls Myzteziz's legs into a foul on Maya. Maya sell it big. Whip, La Mistica on Perro, almost falling on Maya. Perro gives up very visibly, and Myzteziz lets go before Maya's recovered. Crowd boos as Myzteziz poses, maybe because they know he's done. Maya yells at Myzteziz, then raises Perro's arm.
