Arena México, 06/20/2014
Winner: Atlantis
Match Time: 33:54
Rating: ok/good
Notes: Seeding battle royal sets the teams. Vangellys leaves the ring in under 10 seconds (of what we see, so he's automatically the smartest man. This turns out to be one of the longest battle royal in some time, which means it nearly goes five minutes. Highlight is Rush's rivals on his team (and Valiente) taking a shot at him after the battle royal is over.
Team Eliminated: Vangellys, Rey Bucanero, Dragon Rojo, Máximo, La Mascara, Mr. Niebla, La Sombra, Ultimo Guerrero.
Team In The Ring: Rush, Euforia, Brazo de Plata, Rey Escorpión, Atlantis, Terrible, Shocker, Valiente
Atlantis and Guerrero start off the match against each other while everyone else fights out the ring. Rush versus Sombra is teased but doesn't go anywhere. Vangellys is eliminated very early.
Rey Escorpión and Máximo face off and play up their feud a few times. There's a run of partners facing off. Euforia and UG have an exchange, with Euforia working técnico. Máximo and Brazo de Plata tease facing off only for Sombra and Máscara to bully Máximo out and bumble against Super Porky. Bucanero and Terrible tease brawling before hugging and tagging out. Dragon Rojo hesitates at shaking Escorpión's hands, gets kicked down for it and Escorpión nearly beats him with his sit down powerbomb and again with his legdrop before they go a second break.
Dragon Rojo makes a comeback right after a break and beats Escorpión quickly with nothing else notable going on. Sombra and Mascara work together at all occasions, including Mascara saving Sombra from the Euforica Special. Euforia's mask accidentally comes off too soon, and Sombra covers him up with his own shirt to prevent Tirantes from calling the DQ – but then it comes off anyway on a Sombra headscissors and it's unclear if that was intended to happen. Tirantes disqualifies Sombra. Sombra argues, then just takes Euforia's mask and walks off with it. Mascara comes in, and Euforia takes hands off his face (with Tirantes covering it instead) to foul Mascara and immediately get out of there. Match takes a while to get going and there's a break after Porky is eliminated.
Dragon Rojo works técnico against Terrible, and his springboard plancha gives way to another Ultimo Guerrero/Atlantis battle. That one doesn't last long before an Atlantis tope. Shocker dominated Niebla before bating him. Terrible is kissed out of the match. Valiente is in for seemingly the first time about 24 minutes into the match, and is nearly immediately beat by Dragon Rojo – he escapes the double stomp and beats Rojo instead as part of the series of quick eliminations.
Remaining Team A: Rey Bucanero, Máximo, La Mascara, Ultimo Guerrero
Remaining Team B: Rush, Atlantis, Shocker, Valiente
Shocker and Máscara brawl, but Rush breaks up Shocker's pin (his partner in this match) and La Mascara gets the campana instead. Rush plays nice with Máximo so he can turn on him, but Máximo rallies back to get the kiss (sort of.) Rush fights back and corner dropkicks his old partner for the pin. Valiente and Rey Bucaerno are absurdly quick, Bucanero missing the twisting senton and Valiente simply pinning him. Mascara and Valiente screw up something before their finish – Valiente awkwardly scoops up Mascara for a slam, then falls backwards as if Mascara suddenly weighed as much as Super Porky. Another break
This leaves La Mascara & Ultimo Guerrero vs Rush & Atlantis. Atlantis immediately eliminates La Mascara. Guerrero kicks out of Rush's suplexes, escapes the Rush Driver, stands up to avoid the corner dropkick, and easily clotheslines Rush to set up the Guerrero Special. That leaves Atlantis and Ultimo Guerrero, who quickly have weird problems with a Atlantis top rope plancha – he has to step down for the top rope and do a tope off the apron (because UG wasn't in the right spot?) Atlantis and UG do a lot of the usual near falls. Atlantis escapes a UG Atlantida attempt, inside cradles him (which doesn't quite work) and pulls him near the ropes for the three count one two three.

Cavernario grabs Hechicero by his legs as he comes over, holding up his rival for kicks. Cavernario leaves Hechicero hanging, and adds a Virus like dropkick to send Hechicero to the floor.
