1: Slow battle for holds for the first few minutes. Máximo finally is able to armdrag Escorpion away and spin. Escorpion slows it back down in an elbow lock. Máximo slaps and runs up the corner to armdrags his way free, then ties up Escorpion's leg for an Indian deathlock. Escorpion gives.
2: Escorpion stalls. This has really been a slow match. They speed it up as they start here, but just thru a lot of quick reversals to set up a one legged tapatía. Both guys have now won with moves they never use under any other circumstance.
3: Hijo del Signo and Porky argue. Máximo misses a corner charge, Escorpion misses a corner charge, Máximo tosses the kicks, Escorpion escapes and Máximo gets him with his double jump headscissors anyway. Escorpion out, Máximo off the apron to plancha him. Máximo goes back in, Escorpion stands outside and stares at him, Máximo goes for a tope, Escorpion kicks him and rushes back in. Escorpion runs into a reverse waistlock roll up with a back bridge, two count. Please let us not be going to the undying two counts already. Máximo small package, two count. Escorpion argues, Maximo inside cradle. Crowd chanting for a kiss while Máximo puts on a figure four. Escorpion reaches, reaches, Máximo pulls him back. Escorpion finally able to pull them to the ropes for the break, then hangs out outside. Escorpion back in, Máximo cartwheels over him, goes for the kicks, Escorpion fights him off. Máximo headscissors, Escorpion kicks him down, and runs into the giant monkey flip to the – no, Escorpion stays in, oddly. Máximo dropkicks Escorpion out anyway and topes him. Máximo back in and firing up. Huracanrana on Escorpion as he returns, Escorpion rolls thru, one two NO. Escorpion tries a springboard, messes up on that, and shoves Escorpion out. Big tope con giro out on him. He tried to make up on the springboard on that dive. Replays. Escorpion shoves Máximo back first into the barricade. Escorpion back in and staring at the crowd. Máximo knocks Escorpion away from the rope and land a plancha on him. Máximo huracanrana reversed into a sit down powerbomb, one two NO. Porky seemed to think that was it for his son. Escorpion slam, to the apron, and smacking the turnbuckle. Top rope legdrop connects! One two NO. Signo is very unhappy with the speed of the count. Escorpion kicks Maximo into the corner, Máximo flips Escorpion to the apron, Escorpion slaps Máximo away, waits for Máximo talk around, climbs up, and Máximo super armdrags him. Two count. Máximo stomps Escorpion and goes up himself. Crowd, announcers are not thrilled with the idea, but the splash connects one two NO. Máximo argues, Escorpion crucifix cradle one two NO. Máximo dropkick to the knee, casita, one two NO. Escorpion charges at Máximo, Máximo moves, Escorpion holds up from hitting Tigre Hispano and Máximo goes down faking a foul. I'm not sure how that would work since Escorpion and Tiger Hispano were standing near each other and away from Máximo, but Escorpion shoves Tiger Hispano away and decides just to cover. Tiger Hispano pulls him off and asks the crowd if that was a foul. Máximo up, small package, one two NO. Máximo block everything kiss of death cradle, one two NO. Escorpion off the ropes, into Maximo's sit down powerbomb, one two NO. Crowd into the match. Máximo charges, Aguijon Negro, one two three. Announcers have the usual piledriver argument.
Escorpion challenges a dizzy Máximo to a hair/hair match. Máximo calls Escorpion by his pet name to annoy him, which ends all talk about a hair match. Porky challenges Escorpion too and Escorpion promises to shave everyone.
