Announcers stand on the stairs in exciting fashion (??) to introduce the show.
Match 1: Bengala & Oro Jr. vs Akuma & Herodes Jr.
Arena Mexico, 10/08/2013
Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 11:14
Rating: ok/good
Notes: Referee is Terror Chino.
1: Pairs are Herodes Jr. & Oro Jr and Bengala & Akuma. Oro Jr. gets in an early scorpion, and Herodes does pushes up to loose the hold and escape. That's different. Building looks darker than Alaska in December during a blackout. Herodes backs to get in some armdrags, poses, and tags out before Oro can get his revenge. Bengala and Akuma are less interesting. Herodes controls Oro when he comes back in, rudos both clothesline Oro in the corner. Their double team inverted death valley driver does not come across well, but Herdoes wacky variation of a campana is interesting and Akuma's finish looks sharp.
2: Akuma almost instantly corner charge, but the rudos quickly get it back together for a wheelbarrow frontcracker on Bengala. Akuma holds Oro just off the mat for a fierce Herodes double stomp. Oro flips Bengala to safety on a corner charge, quebradoras Akuma, then has all sorts of problems trying to do that (or something) to Oro Jr. Oro Jr. ignores an Akuma kick as the crowd gets on him, then misses his own corner charge. He needs moment to breath, and Akuma gives it Oro by slapping him and stepping back. Corner whip, Oro Jr up and off with a moonsault bodyblock. Bengala kicks Herodes in the back of the leg a couple times to rip him, then puts him in a triangular de Bengala for the submission.
3: Oro headscissors Akuma out to the ramp, then follows with a springboard tornillo armdrag. Bengala dropkick an armdrags Herodes around, then quebradoars Akuma. Dropkicks ends Akuma back to the ramp, but Herodes cuts of Bengala with a missile dropkick before he can do any more. Oro springboard dropkicks Herodes, then walks into a slow Akuma spear thru the ropes. Akuma with an Indian deathlock and pose for the submission. Herodes submits Bengala and the fall is over quick.
Match 2: Bam Bam & Último Dragoncito vs Mercurio & Pequeño Warrior
Arena Mexico, 10/08/2013
Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 10:34
Rating: ok
Notes: Hey, Bam Bam showed up for a match! Also, it's a tag so he's going to have to work. Referee is Tigre Hispano.
1: Pairs are Bam Bam & Mercurio and Dragoncito & Warrior. Tecnicos win the first cycles, rudos take over in the next and take the fall without much of a problem.
2: Rudos keep control with easy material and not much double teaming except for brawling spots. Mercurio bites Bam Bam's hand. Warrior spends as much energy dancing on the apron. Dragoncito takes corner charges, but Bam Bam escapes his. Headscissors sends out Mercurio, Warrior boots sends out Bam Bam, Dragoncito planchas Warrior, then gives him a spinning armdrag. Técnicos submit rudos.
3: Bam Bam and Mercurio end with a 619 fakeout and Bam Bam giving a one finger salute to the crowd. I guess that's now his spot. Cameras have no problem showing it this time. Warrior and Dragoncito struggle, with Warrior stopping the técnico just so he can do his taunt. Dragoncito armdrags and starts for his submission, Mercurio cradles Dragoncito, and Bam Bam breaks that up. Técnicos instantly win, including Bam Bam dropping Mercurio on a double underhook piledriver. Warrior continues to bob up and down after Dragoncito has let go off his hold. It seems like clowning to me after Warrior's performance but the announcers are highly amused. (It definitely would've worked in a better context.)
Match 3: Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr., Rey Cometa vs Namajague, Shigeo Okumura, Virus
Arena Mexico, 10/08/2013
Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 9:43
Rating: good
Notes: Referee is Tirantes.
1: Namajague, playing the role of Halloween, tries walking out on the match before it starts. He's having wardrobe issues, I guess. Cometa demands Namajague come back to fight him. Namajague refuses at first, comes back in, then walks out again. Okumura and Maya battle to a stalemate instead. Namajague tags in because he thinks Delta is coming in, but Maya fakes hi out and tags in Cometa. Namajague is unhappy but goes to work. Snap mare, kick to the back of the head. Cometa turns it around to do the same, only kicking Namajague in the face instead. Namajague repeatedly corner clotheslines Cometa, only for Cometa to turn it around when Namajague stops to look at the crowd. Cometa lays in with forearms, then turns around to yell and is clotheslined from behind. Whip, reversed, dropkick sends Namajague out. Virus drops Cometa with a clothesline kick at Delta, Delta avoids and forearms Virus down, then comes in with a springboard sunset flip. One two nope. Seemed like Delta and Virus improvised a bit there, and Delta uses a headlock to talk. Whip, Delta, slide out, and Cometa back in with a plancha. Cometa up, but in the rudo corner, and Okumura pulls Delta down by his hair. Lots of stomping by all the rudos. Maya in and after Virus, but his kick is caught and the rudos swarm him too. Rudos give Delta the same treatment, but he sidesteps a corner charge and Virus gets Stuka in the corner. Delta ducks the Japanese, who kick him down anyway. Virus and Cometa get back up on the apron to fight them, but the Japanese cut them off and send the técnicos outside. Tecnicos reverse whips on the rudos outside and the Japanese get rammed into each other. Delta huracanrana on Virus, Virus rolls thru, one two kickout. Delta back up, and grabbing Virus– reinera, and Virus is done.
2: Delta and Virus exchange chops to start the fall. Delta ends up winning by dropkick, and leads Maya up the ropes for his usual armdrag on Virus. Okumura elbows Delta out, but May gets him with a big swat. Corner whip into the técnicos corner, Maya sets up Okumura on top, and Delta climbs the ropes for a huracanrana. Maya top rope splash! Namajague breaks up the sure three count. Cometa flips in the ring for no good reason, and Namajague easily kicks him down and stomps Cometa around. Big chop, despite Namajague having trouble with Cometa's zipper. Whip, over, dropkick flips out Cometa, and Namajague covers one two NO. Cometa ducks Namajague and superkicks him, then monkey flips Namajague high into the air. Quebradora one two NO. Fireman's carry drop in the corner, Cometa 450 splash one two and the rudos break it up again. They're really close to being swept here. Other four in for a moment, with Delta last man standing after a superkick. Delta runs for a dive, Virus backdrops him to the apron, Delta kicks Okamura, jumps, Virus chops Delta, Delta forearms him, Delta jumps again, and Virus kicks the ropes so Delta goes tumbling down. Maya hiptoss Virus and dropkicks him out the other side. Maya up top, but Namajague shoves Maya to the floor from behind. Cometa in with a plancha on Namajague, Namajague kick caught, Cometa pulls him into the splits, high kiss, Namajague foul and inside cradle, and Tirantes saw the foul. DQ, fall and match is over.
Delta demands a title match next week. Namajague responds in Japanese and stomps down the técnicos.
Stellar Moments
Lo Doloroso: Guerrero Negro Buca Storm on Oro Jr.
La Llave: Estrellita Star Cross on Tiffany
El Castigo: Titan rope flip headscissors Vangellys off the apron
Lo Alevoso: Brazo de Plata punching Rey Escorpion in the face. You know it's a good punch when it's on this segment.

Match 4: Blue Panther, Mistico, Thunder vs Mr. Niebla, Último Guerrero, Volador Jr.
Arena Mexico, 10/08/2013
Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 10:27
Rating: ok
Notes: Zacarias is with Mr. Niebla. Everyone gets their own entrance, and they show it, so it's an AAA like wait before the match starts. In related news, not much going on in this show. Volador has new facepaint scheme. Referee is Tigre Hispano.
1: Ultimo Guerrero tries to roll with Thunder, which is another good way to waste everyone's time. Rudos get bored and attack the técnicos to start the beatdown. Wish I had that option! Niebla crotches Místico on the barricade. Zacarias gets the 619 on Thunder, then UG suplexes the Australian for a pin. Niebla submits Panther.
Tecnico fans are cheering for Volador.
2: UG goes after Thunder's mask before the rudos boot Thunder out. Volador superkicks Místico in the corner to set up the senton de la muerte. Panther has a spasm after Volador superkicks him. Thunder avoids a corner charge (to loud boso0 and clotheslines Niebla and Guerrero. Volador boots him, Místico headscissors him and flies out with a tope con giro. Panther submits Niebla (biting on the anklelock seems to make it illegal) and then does the same thing to Ultimo Guerrero!
3: Panther tries to wrestle with Niebla, but Niebla slaps him down. Panther is keeping his head bald (which might not help with the slapping.) Niebla punches Panther in the corner and goes into his dance. Spit is – caught, but flies back out of his mouth when Niebla clotheslines him. Niebla rolls out and hugs Black Terry Jr. for comfort. Místico and Volador evade, Místico headscissors Volador out, chases him out, and leaps back to the apron, and gets in middle rope headscissors to the floor. Thunder holds UG high up in the air for a press slam for an extended time, before dropping him for a powerslam. Crowd responds by booing lustily. UG takes the knee bump out just so Thunder can land his tope con giro. Místico immediately goes for La Mistica, but Volador escapes and gives Místico a front cracker. Volador starts for the pin, then change his mind and drags Místico to the corner. It's so Mr. Niebla can jump off for a splash, but he falls off the top rope and does a senton instead. That was not good, and Niebla knows it because he puts on la Nieblina instead. Volador superkicks and backcrackers Panther for the other pin.
Match 5: Atlantis & La Sombra vs La Máscara & Rush in a #1 contenders tournament final for the CMLL World Tag Team Championship
Arena Mexico, 10/08/2013
Winner: Rush & La Mascara
Match Time: 13:08
Rating: ok/good
Notes: Referee is Tirantes . Rush & Mascara are in white, and Sombra & Atlantis are wearing their normal gear.
1: Some false starts, including Rush & Sombra doing a faceoff. Rush tags to Mascara, and they start. Rush immediately gets in a cheap shot from outside (or at least tries to – whiff!), Mascara lands a superkick, and Mascara takes out Atlantis. Guess the rudos are easy to fight. Double boot for Sombra, Rush following Sombra out to slap him around. Rush back in and kicking Atlantis around. Rush smacks Atlantis into the corner, then whips him into another superkick. That's 2! Under/over is set at half a dozen. Rush dropkicks Atlantis out. Rush corner superkick on Sombra (3), and Mascara running boot to the head. Northern lights suplex, three. Mascara trips up Atlantis and cradles him.
2: Reset, with everyone back in their corners, but Rush going after Sombra's mask. Rush sets Sombra on the top rope to untie it. Rush doesn’t get that far, but slaps down Sombra in the corner. Mascara headbutts Atlantis. Rudos whip Atlantis the corner, and Máscara lands another superkick (4!). Rush sets up Atlantis as if he's going to do the dropkick to the face, but Sombra cuts him off with a springboard dropkick. Máscara misses a senton, Atlantis casadora cradles him, Sombra straight jacket German suplexes Rush, and that's that.
3: Atlantis and Mascara start this time, evasion leading into an Atlantis armdrag and dropkick. Rush dropkick Atlantis harder and stomps him while taking a swing at Sombra. Rush punches and stomps Atlantis, then stares at the crowd. Rush chops Atlantis. Whip, evasion, Rush belly to belly suplex and kick to the back. Atlantis rolls out, and Sombra saunters in. Dramatic pose off. Rush shoves Sombra. Sombra shoves Rush. Chop fight. Sombra's mask is pretty well untied. Sombra slaps Rush, until Rush headbutts him, when he gets in a pretty good one. Double stomp and pose too. Rush in no hurry. Corner whip, charge in, corner splash. Corner whip, corner slap ducked, Sombra's slap isn't. Sombra kicks Rush in the head, off the ropes, Rush running elbow smash connects. Rush picks up Sombra by the head and throws him in the corner, but Sombra turns around right away and forearms Sombra in the corner. Sombra fights back with for dueling slaps, which turns to hard Sombra forearms. Rush kicks Sombra, Sombra dropkick Rush out. Mascara in. Máscara jumps in and tries to get the crowd chanting for him. Chop fight. With Sombra. Máscara takes off his shirt and tells Sombra to do the same, Sombra starts to do ti, and Máscara kicks him. Well, he's no dummy. Whip, Sombra rolls to the ropes, forearm, turnbuckle smash blocked and Máscara gets in the his swing kick. Atlantis charges in and tries to cut off Mascara with a dropkick but misses. That distracts Máscara enough for a Sombra springboard dropkick. Rush misses a dropkick on Sombra, and Atlantis dropkicks him out. Tecnicos run, and land stereo topes on the rudos. Kid Atlantis fan cheers, even though he can't possible see out of the mask he has on. Máscara kicks Sombra away, but dives into a Sombra counter dropkick, and Sombra covers for two. Sombra drops Máscara in the corner, rope flip moonsault, Sombra has to adjust the pin out of the ropes, and gives it up with Rush walk over to break it up. Sombra and Rush go head to head. Crowd excited for this part, it's almost like it's a big deal. Sombra hesitates, off the ropes, dropkick misses when Rush just moves out of the way. Rush chops, corner whip, Sombra flips Rush to the apron, Rush slaps Sombra away and lands a missile dropkick. One two Atlantis pulls Rush off by his hair. Whip, quebradora! Quebradora! Rush taking them like a real rudo. Casadora cradle, one – Máscara breaks it up. Máscara inside cradle one two NO. Máscara ducks Atlantis and jumps his shoulder for a casadora in to a campana, but Sombra breaks I it up with a Brillante Bomb. Turning around to create space. Rush back suplexes Atlantis at the same time one two NO. Rush and Sombra face off again. Shoves. Sombra elbows Rush into the corner. Corner whip, chore charge misses, Rush headbutts Sombra back, but then grabs a swinging Atlantis. Rush throws Atlantis into another corner, and Mascara superkicks him (5!). Rush and Mascara pull off the corner dropkicks, which Máscara not being in the same league on Atlantis as Rush on Sombra. One two NO. Crowd not into the near fall there. Mascara superkick (6!) to Atlantis is way low and hits Rush in the midsection. Sombra is already standing behind Rush and easily pulls him into the German suplex. La Mascara nearly runs into the Atlantis, escapes, but can't actually break up the pin (and is clearly supposed to, because Tirantes holds up, then counts three anyway, and Rush appeared not to kickout in time.) Máscara drops Atlantis with a quebradora, ducks Sombra and superkicks (OVER!) him to Rush for the Rush diver, and then puts the mecedora on Atlantis himself. Atlantis gives. Tirantes does not count Rush's pin, but raises La Mascara's arm. Might have been his way of justifying the three count.
Announcers wrap up.
