Announcers say HELLO. They're rolling four deep this week.

Match 1: Aéreo & Pequeño Halcón vs Pequeño Violencia & Pequeño Warrior
Arena Mexico, 09/03/2013

  1. rudos
  2. técnicos
  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 18:51
Rating: below average
Notes: Referee is Pompin.

1: Pairs are Halcón/Violencia and Aereo/Warrior, and they do a lot of mat work in the first fall. Second pair seems to go twice as long as the first. Halcón demands to face Warrior the second time thru. It does not go well for him on a number of levels. No one flips onto their knees as much as Pequeño Warrior, but he doesn't let that stop him from trying every match. Violencia casually submits Aereo, while Warrior has a Titan like headstand headscissors cradle. Not nearly as smooth.

2: Halcón starts the comeback 90 seconds in with a corner flip escape, an armdrag, and a shirt removal (which just gets boos from the crowd and laughs from Warrior.) No big follow up, action slows right back down. Violencia takes a monkey flip to the floor, which is kind of a dive, but Aereo bails out on his own dive. Tecnicos quickly win with holds.

3: rudos randomly take back over so Violencia can throw Aereo around with big moves, and then double team Halcón. A boost spot is blown so badly that I can't figure out who was at fault. Rudos don't seem to care. A very low effort submission/breakup bit happens, with Aereo almost falling down while applying his hold.

Match 2: Pegasso, Starman, Stigma vs Arkángel de la Muerte, Canelo Casas, Disturbio
Arena Mexico, 09/03/2013

  1. rudos
  2. técnicos
  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 15:41
Rating: okay
Notes: Referee is Bestia Negra. Isis is with the rudos.

1: Pairs are Pegasso/Canelo, Disturbio/Stigma, and Starman/Arkangel. Starman is all over Arkangel until the rudos pull down the middle rope on a whip, and the rudos take over on the other técnicos from there. It's not a direct turn to finish, and Canelo weirdly wins on a backdrop, then helps set up Disturbio's win.

2: Rudos do a lot of team work on the técnicos, though it's mostly basic kicking stuff. Disturbio gives Pegasso a legdrop which doesn't come close to his head. Stigma tires to backflip out of an attack, doesn’t really, but the young rudos chop Arkangel out anyway. Tecnico tease the triple dive and then don't do it for no particular reason. (Except them the rules.) Stigma stays in and puts Arkangel in a hold, other rudos break that up, but screw up and set up the older técnicos for pinfalls.

3: Tecnico showcases go Starman, Pegasso and Stigma and the end, and Stigma in the last before Arkangel gets in a dropkick and everyone else takes their turn of getting involved. Canelo powerbombs and submits Starman without much of a problem for the upset win. Weird that Starman is clearly the captain in this fall when it wasn't the case in the last one

Match 3: Diamante, Hijo del Fantasma, Sagrado vs Namajague, Puma, Virus
Arena Mexico, 09/03/2013

  1. técnicos
  2. rudos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 10:51
Rating: ok
Notes: Referee is Pompin.

1: Pairs are Fantasma/Namajague, Diamante/Puma, and Sagrado/Virus. Namajague is devastated by a Fantamsa's chop. Sagrado drops Virus with his springboard silla, but Virus comes right back with his backdrop and dropkick to the knee. Everyone takes everyone else out until they're back to Sagrado and Virus, and Virus gets caught cradled going for a figure four.

2: Tecnicos dominate the fall until Puma slips in a front cracker on Fantasma. Namajague immediately adds his frog splash and the fall is over.

3: rudos are already hard at work by the time the ring girl turns up. Diamante slips in a quebradora on Namajague, but Puma fixes things when Fantasma comes in. Fantasma about drops on his head after the upkick/superkick combo. That kicks off everyone getting a finish broken up. Puma superkicks Fantasma again and hangs him upside down for Virus' dropkick to the face. Diamante pulls for Virus and Asai moonsaults on to him. Puma superkicks Sagrado out and he and Namajague pose, then turn around and watch Fantasma fly in. Phantom Attack only gets Puma, but Fantasma submits Namajague while Sagrado adds a splash.

Match 4: Blue Panther, Máscara Dorada, Thunder vs Averno, Ephesto, Mephisto
Arena Mexico, 09/03/2013

  1. técnicos
  2. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-0)
Match Time: 9:13
Rating: ok
Notes: Joined with Averno stomping on Blue Panther's face, which seems a bit much. Referee is Bestia Negra.

1: Averno beats up Panther on the ramp, while his partners keep Thunder down. Mascara Dorada disappears for a bit isn't much help when he's there. Averno chokes Panther with his own coat, which seems vaguely illegal. Referee is more concerned with Ephesto's chinlock on Mascara Dorada. Panther gets in a takedown on Averno, but his buddies help him out, and everyone stomps Panther. They rip up Panther's pants as well, which actually helps them – Bestia Negra stop counting to stop them, and then restarts his count. Rudos keep on it until they get the DQ they so clearly want.

2: Rudos remain in control, and remain choking the técnicos. Averno beats up Panther at ringside. Averno moves the ring steps to easier smack Panther's head into them. Other técnicos make it to their corner, but are stuck just yelling at the referee and the rudos. Panther sneaks in a DDT, but the rudos kick him down again and hold him for more Averno shots. Averno gives Panther a big shot to the face. Panther finally makes it to the apron, allowing the other técnicos to get attacked from behind instead. Dorada gets in one headscissors before being knocked down. Thunder gets in nothing. Dorada holds Panther on a whip, and Thunder gives the lesser rudos a bad double clothesline. Panther sends Averno out and topes him, Dorada springboard dropkicks the other two and moonsaults them, and everyone gets back up for Thunder's tope con giro. Averno and Panther look at the crowd a lot, Panther hiptoss Averno and puts him in a wristlock, and Averno gives. Panther won't let go though, and should be disqualified, but is not.

Panther yells at Averno, who's in immense pain from the hold. Averno tries to responds, gets slapped in the head, and takes off.

Match 5: Rush, Terrible, Vangellys vs Negro Casas, Shocker, Valiente in a relevos increíbles match
Arena Mexico, 09/03/2013

  1. Team Rush
  2. Team Casas
  3. Team Casas

Winner: Team Casas
Match Time: 10:46
Rating: ok
Notes: Comandante is with the TRT guys. Vangellys and Valiente start fighting on the ramp for whatever reason. Shocker and Terrible fighting, and Negro's last out so I guess he's stuck fighting Rush. Rush is too busy punching Shocker to notice. No Zacarias. Referee is Tirantes.

1: Team Rush wins the brawl, and TRT are very happy to hold Negro for Rush to hit. Vangelis sets Negro on the ropes to get in his own kick. Negro tries to turn from Rush's dropkick to the face and it looks like it hit even harder.

2: Rudo team, which they basically are, stay in control hitting the técnicos. Rush doesn't seem to have any problem with his team or attacking Poor Valiente, but Valiente is too flippy to let the bullies win for long. He does the one man comeback, though Negro contributes by kicking Rush in the face over and over again. Shocker is also present. Eventually, it turns into all three técnicos stomping down Rush on the outside. Shocker throws Rush around outside, then brings him back inf or chops. Negro lands his own corner dropkick to Rush's face. Tecnicos set up for a triple boot on Rush, but Rush just grabs the ropes, tells them off, and walks out. I didn't know that was possible, but Rush does the impossible regularly. Técnicos quickly beat the other rudos.

3: Shocker goes thru everyone, Rush and Negro have a big brawl, and then Valiente gets his showcase to end it. Different way to do it. Valiente just has time to dropkick Vangelis out and follow with ab ig tope. Rush stomps Negro, chops Shocker, and kicks Zacarias right off the apron all in one sequence. Shocker runs in and spears Rush, but Terrible pulls Shocker out ff to chop him. Terrible and Rush start pulling each other away to decide who gets Hocker, which ends with both Terrible and Shocker attacking Rush at the same time. Rush leaves, and his partners get pinned quickly.

Announcers wrap up, talking a lot about the Anniversary show.
