Match 1: Atlantis ©, Diamante Azul, Thunder vs Felino, Mr. Niebla © , Pierroth
Arena Mexico, 07/19/2013

  1. rudos

  2. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 13:27
Rating: below average
Notes: No introduction; they seem to be airing the dance bits instead of that, which is fine. Mr. Niebla is throwing around Atlantis while the sides are being announced, though things just calm down from there. Monito is with the técnicos, Zacarias and Comadante with the rudos. Felino is in his old full bodysuit but fooling around. Referee is Babe Richard.

1: Some time killing going on and then Pierroth and Thunder start. Time killing is preferred. They don't accomplish much, but everyone lives. Break as Azul and Felino are starting.

Felino takes some quebradoras. Niebla runs for Atlantis, leaning him out to the rudo side. Rudos help, técnicos rush over but are no help. Rudos finish Azul off quick. Pierroth performs a middle rope senton on Thunder without either having a problem, so that's good. Niebla knocks Atlantis off the apron, then quickly drags Monito the center of the ring for a legdrop. Felino stands up Monito to add a spear (when the legdrop was good enough.) Zacarias crawls around on the mat for no reason.

2: Holding and hitting. Niebla all but removes Atlantis' mask. Comeback is Thunder grabbing Azul on a whip, Azul missing a double clothesline and being kicked down, and Thunder hitting the same double clothesline. Atlantis quebradoras everyone and clotheslines Niebla into the crowd. Azul holds Pierroth in an exciting chinlock, while Thunder and Felino stand around on the stage and stare at each other. Another mid fall break!

Everyone sort of wanders to their corners. Thunder is doing a one arm open palm raise pose. I don't know. Thunder and Pierroth have a chop battle. Thunder doesn't seem to lack for confidence, despite the many reasons he should lack some confidence. Thunder armdragging Pierroth is a tough proposition. Thunder gives Pierroth something that looks like a martinete – it's a slam, but it's not a good looking one and Babe Richard almost broke it up when he thought it was going to be a piledriver. Azul slides out on Felino, which is the wrong way to do it, but it's so Azul can do his dragon screw thru the ropes. I don't know why he has to do his dragon screw thru the ropes. Niebla chops Atlantis, dances. Long Atlantis evading a running Niebla bit leading to a quebradora and a dropkick. Somehow, we have go thru another cycle of spots. Azul headscissors Felino out, evades a Pierroth kick, and they struggle on an armdrag. Azul is flipped to the ramp because he's the new Hijo del Fantasma. Thunder and Pierroth can't budge each other, Thunder sort of connects on a dropkick to Pierroth. Pierroth totally whiffs on catching Thunder's tope con giro. Atlantis and Niebla back in, Niebla gets in his dance, Atlantis does another quebradora, Babe Richard forgets he's supposed to be looking at the outside and looks right at Niebla as he unmasks Atlantis and cradles him for the pin. That was bad.

Atlantis goes after Babe Richard after the match, while Felino invades a fan's personal space.

Second dance interlude is more bondage-y.

Match 2: Máscara Dorada, Místico ©, Valiente vs Euforia, Último Guerrero, Volador Jr. ©
Arena Mexico, 07/19/2013

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 11:55
Rating: good
Notes: Entrances, show the Estetas can show off their cool outfits. Guerreros enter together. Volador is dressed up like Fuego. Or Fuego's old gimmick. To be fair, it a better Flash outfit. Tirantes is referee.

1: Valiente and Euforia battle to a draw, UG does his usual bit of ramming a guy (Dorada) out of the ring, and the beatdown starts there. Místico gets flipped into the crowd. Valiente takes the senton de la muerte and Volador's corner kick into the crowd. Dorada takes his usual big hiptoss onto the barricade and a flying sit from Euforia. Místico is brought back in and submitted right away.

2: Dorada tripped, legdropped, and backdropped very high. Mistico's tripped up on the apron and dropkicked off. Valiente turns a rebound hiptoss into a headscissors on Volador. Other rudos slap him, other técnicos springboard headscissors them. This seems to set up the usual dives, but Euforia evades Dorada and topes him, while Guerrero catches Místico's tope con giro and – well, we don’t see. Valiente has a little trouble getting Volador up for the Valiente Buster, but still doe finish him to take the fall anyway.

Long shot of people standing around, then Euforia and Místico walking off towards the stage (Though they keep the camera on the ring.) Replay never really catches UG's move on Mistico, which appears to be a ram into the post. Back live, Místico dives off the upper part of the age onto Euforia.

3: Valiente and Místico pose off. Crowd is not as reception to Místico tonight, booing him noticeably. Crowd shot caused them to miss UG knocking down Místico. Místico comes back with a flipping run and back spin headscissors. Místico poses after an off the shoulder headscissors, UG kicks him in the corner, but misses a charge and takes the knee bump out. Místico follows with a top rope headscissors to the floor. Valiente and Euforia are next, evading until some armdrags. Valiente chases Euforia into begging off on the floor. Dorada and Volador are last, Dorada showing off a flipping run and headscissors Volador to the apron quick. Euforia turns the table by flipping Dorada to the apron, where UG clotheslines him to the ramp. Tecnicos miss dropkicks on Euforia and Volador, rudos miss corner charges and get thrown out. UG dropkick Mistico, misses a clothesline on Valiente, and Dorada is running late with the floating headscissors (but still looks good when he does it.) Valiente Special out on Volador, Operacion Dragon on Euforia, Brillo Dorada on Guerrero! Everyone slow back up. Valiente and Euforia back in, Valiente dropkick to the knee, splash, one two NO. Euforia catches a late Valiente clothesline and for a Euforica Special, Valiente back elbows free, jumping snap mare around and dropped into a big layout faceslam. Nirvana-lock sort of, but Dorada breaks it up with a springboard dropkick. Dorada corner whip, Euforia flips him to to apron, Dorada swing kicks him away, Volador races over and swing kicks him. Volador hurrying and slipping a little bit, but recovering to top rope huracanrana Dorada. One two NO. Volador fires up and the crowd stats chanting his name. Volador tires to suplex Dorada, but Dorada dumps him on the top rope instead, and Místico pulls him off with a springboard headscissors. Guerrero breaks the pin with a dropkick. Guerrero celebrates (and kills a little time.) Corner whip, reversed, UG to the middle rope, Místico runs up to join him, front superplex one two NO. Místico recovers enough to set himself up for UG's superbomb, which also gets two. I like how UG won't even change the order of his spots. Dorada breaks up the pin. Volador in, dueling flipping runs, Volador headscissors Dorada out, Volador follows with a moonsault. Euforia runs at Valiente for a monkey flip (!), but Valiente blocks it and drops him onto the mat. Indian deathlock on there, La Mistica on UG, and that's it.

Replays and done.
