Match 1: Dalis la Caribeña, Dark Angel ©, Marcela vs Amapola ©, La Seductora, Princesa Blanca
Arena Mexico, 06/21/2013
técnicas
Winner: técnicas (2-1)
Match Time: 16:35
Rating: below average/okay
Notes: Referee is Edgar.
1: Marcela and Seductora start and barely get anywhere before a break. Two fall match coming up!
Seductora has trouble, then Marcela just starts tying her up. Seductora does better when they switch from kick to holds, but even that is temporary. Blanca leads Dalis thru a long and sometimes messy sequence. Dark Angel gets Amapola with some good headscissors, Amapola spears the post on a corner charge, Dark Angel climbs up for a plancha but Blanca shoves her off. Marcela headscissors Blanca, then lets Blanca hit Seductora by mistake with a chop. Dalis plancha both the rudas and the técnicas beat the rudas with moves. Dark Angel taking the fall to the floor instead of the dive for no reason is pretty random, except it must be because of the no dive rule.
2: Seductora resumes her duty as tackling dummy to Marcela, taking a torture rack into a gutbuster to end that run. Dalis' run on Amapola is interrupts by a Blanca dropkick. Timing is bad there, Dalis posing in front of Blanca to take the dropkick, but it's worse with whatever top rope spot Seductora tries next. It probably supposed to be her usual silla, but turns into a top rope hair pull, and even Dalis is annoyed about how bad it looked. Amapola trips Dark Angel on the ropes for he sit, then changes her mind and has the rudas hold her on the ropes for a dropkick. Crowd is whistling and not for good reasons. Slaps and hair pulls for Blanca. This fall is five minutes long, but feels longer. Dark Angel is thrown around, then Blanca drops her for inverted figure four.
3: Rudas continue thrown the técnicas around. Blanca traps Marcela in a camel clutch, grinds her elbow in Marcela's face, and lets her go. Seductora almost loses Marcela on an inverted powerslam, then dropkicks her in the chest. Amapola gets in the sit on the back here, but Dark Angel immediately ducks a double clothesline and dropkicks Seductora (who can't take a bump for it because she's too near the ropes.) Dark Angel throws that ruda around while the técnicas evidentially pull out the other ones. They never show us the other four, though at least the first two aren't just anding around. Dalis comes into fight Amapola and Blanca, which is more them accidentally fighting each other. Same thing with Marcela in. Dark Angel back in to set up the reinera on Seductora, Seductora escapes, and tries to put on her own hold, Dark Angel escapes, Casadora into a DDT, I guess. Seductora is really struggling. Amapola breaks up a pinfall. Everyone starts dropkicking everyone else. Amapola tries to drop Dark Angel with Devil's Wings, but Dark Angle reverses it to a reinera and that's it.
Second Chicas Vuelta, Vuleta dance segment, this one a little bit shorter.
Match 2: La Sombra ©, Máximo, Shocker vs Mr. Águila, Terrible, Volador Jr. ©
Arena Mexico, 06/21/2013
rudos
Winner: rudos (2-0)
Match Time: 8:38
Rating: good
Notes: Sombra has his new belt – and shot to the back form Volador. Volador stomps Sombra and takes off the belt. Other rudos help out. Volador poses with the belt himself. Comandante is with Terrible. No sign of Mije. Referee is Babe Richard.
1: Rudos beat up Máximo and Shocker while Volador parades around with the belt. He has Aguila tie it on his waist, and kicks down Sombra as he approaches. Aguila holds Máximo for a Terrible kick to the face. Crowd reacts loud to something we don't see, but it appears Volador threw Sombra over the barricade and ripped down the gate. Volador puts the belt over his shoulder and poses for photos. Volador gives the belt to a fan to hold, then powerbombs Sombra on the gate he broke. I did not see that plan. Rudos continue to assault the técnicos in the ring, but the fight outside is much better. Shocker and Máximo are whipped into each other. Aguila is wearing a Chivas jersey, but it just says “SHADY” on it where the sponsor logo should be. I have no idea, but it works. Volador makes rude hand gestures to the fans. Sombra's brought in so Volador can kick him in the face very hard repeatedly. Catapult/legdrop hold on Máximo, titled crab on Shocker to finish.
2: Volador and Terrible rip up Sombra's pants, which gets interesting reactions from the crowd. Volador's mask has a huge tongue on it, and he plays with it while waiting for Sombra to get up. Whip, reversed, Sombra puts his head down too soon, Volador kicks it, ducks a clothesline, and superkicks him. Volador celebrates by posing on the middle rope. Máximo gets triple teamed, though he gets in a couple shots on Aguila before they contain him. Corner whip leads to the Máximo double springboard butt bump. Volador superkicks Maximo, Sombra springboard headscissors him. Terrible kicks Sombra, but misses on the slap and gets Comandante. Shocker stunner on him, and Aguila dropkicks his partner by mistake. Aguila chops, misses, and Shocker shoves him into a Máximo kiss of death. Shocker cradles Aguila, Máximo cradles Terrible, two counts all around. Aguila powerbombs Shocker, Máximo rolls up Terrible, Sombra breaks up the Aguila pin and I guess Volador breaks up the other one, not show. Volador and Sombra have a big face off, then go to the corner spot pose. Volador kicks Sombra back, charges, and Sombra dumps him to the floor. Sombra out after him with a top rope springboard moonsault, very fired up. Aguila misses a corner dropkick and somehow lands himself on the top rope turnbuckle, which looks very painful. He tumbles out, and Sombra follows with a pescado. Terrible kicks Máximo in the corner, misses a charge, takes hip bump out, and Máximo follows with a tope. Back to Sombra and Volador one more time. Sombra clothesline misses, Volador springboard onto Sombra' shoulder, Sombra lifts him forward for the German suplex, flips out to his feet, Volador clothesline misses, Sombra Brillante Driver, Volador slips thru, frontcracker, Sombra backed into the corner, Volador charges, Volador Spiral one two three!
Volador says he likes to be noted as the rudo of the moment, he likes to be respected, to have an ever changing mask, and to have a title match – but they don't even need a match to know the champion is the Depredador del Aire, Volador Jr. Sombra says they've had a lot of title matches, he wants a mask vs mask match. Sombra walks out, but Volador stops him, saying his fans are here and they don't want a mask vs mask match. He asks the crowd, who says they do, which Volador decides means they do not. Volador walks out now, and Sombra says the people want mask vs mask. Replays.
