Announcers say hello. Amapola joins them this week.
Match 1: Metálico ©, Pegasso, Starman vs Hijo del Signo ©, Hooligan, Skándalo
Arena Mexico, 06/14/2013
rudos
Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 19:47
Rating: below average
Notes: Clipped entrances, but long in-ring ones. Isis is with the Tuareg. Referee is Edgar.
1: Pairs are Starman/Skandalo and Pegasso/Hooligan to build to Signo/Metalico, but they're just barely in and out and the crowd seems unaware they're actually feuding. They transition into everyone hitting everyone to get back to Signo and Metálico, and Signo whips Metálico into the Skándalo Driver for the fall.
2: Tuareg style beatdown for a while. Metálico sneaks in a dropkick on Signo after six and a half minutes, but then it takes a couple more moments for the técnicos to actually regroup. Revenge low blow dropkick spot, Pegasso 450 splash (landing on his feet for a split second before landing the splash) and three count there. Starman headscissors Hooligan from the apron, and Metálico submits Signo.
3: Tecnico showcase fall doesn’t last long. Starman trips himself into the ropes for Hooligan's finish. Rudos fool around with more low blow dropkick on Pegasso, but Metalico breaks it up. Hooligan powerbombs him anyway, and signo ladns the top rope splash for the win.
Match 2: Atlantis, La Sombra ©, Titán vs Pierroth ©, Último Guerrero, Volador Jr.
Arena Mexico, 06/14/2013
rudos
Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 9:04
Rating: ok
Notes: The whole group is with Pierroth, though Comandante only stays in the ring. UG, second to last out, rushes Atlantis. Sombra (Matt Ryan jersey) watches this, thinks about helping, and then decides to go greet Volador on the stage. Volador tells Sombra to go away, but Sombra doesn’t, and they brawl up there. Sombra takes a fall from the stage that's missed due to lineup graphics, and Volador launches on to him with a big plancha.
1: Rudos double team Titan in the ring while Volador beats up Sombra around the ramp. Announcers talking about Super Muneco for some reason. Volador brings Sombra back to the ring to give him the Volador Spiral, and that's it. Ultimo Guerrero unties Atlantis mask and teases taking it off. They're probably trying to push both rivalries, but it feels like UG is trying to steal some spotlight from Volador/Sombra here.
2: Rudos remain in control. Sombra's flipped out by a clothesline. Pierroth gets in his elbow smash, then can't get out of the way fast enough. Volador appears to be wearing a funny Tiger hat over his mask for whatever reason, and looses it while celebrating his kick duck superkick combo. Sombra Devitts his way to a comeback, which is more everyone taking out everyone. Atlantis topes Guerrero, Sombra moonsautls over the ring post on Volador. Pierroth goes back to jumping elbow smashes on Titan – amazingly enough, it's the exact same one that Rush does – but misses a weak clothesline and gets trapped in the Titanics for the three. I have no idea why Pierroth is captain.
Sombra chases Volador over the barricade some how, and threatens to dive in after him.
3: Atlantis unties UG's mask and pulls it down far enough that his face is blurred up, but somehow Tirantes does not call it a DQ. Atlantis does threaten to punch him, maybe that does it. Atlantis dropkick UG out and sends him into the barricade, then brings him in to tease the mask again. Volador and Sombra do the big face off and flipping urns, with Volador again landing a superkick. Sombra comes back with his reverse springboard backspin headscissors, and a big tope con giro to the floor. Titan and Pierroth are last, with the rudo kicking a lot. Titan evades a lot, and lands the backflip kick, which Pierroth takes humorously. Rope grab tope con giro goes without issue. Volador and Sombra wrap up with a Sombra standing on the top rope huracanrana and an Altanida on UG.
Atlantis unmasks UG after the match. Replays to finish it up.
