técnicos
Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 15:58
Rating: good
Notes: Edited entrances. Avernos come out together. Referee is Babe Richard, which is odd for a non-semimain.
1: Panther and Averno start, with Panther doing his headstand bit out of a headscissors. Panther gets Averno in a tapatía early, rudos come in to break it up, técnicos warn them, and it ends up with no one interfering and Averno escaping to an STF on his own. Panther escapes, put on a tirabuzón, and the same standoff happens. Everyone backs down and Averno is able to reverse the hold on his own, leading to another standoff. Again, everyone backs down, and Averno switches to a suástica. Panther escapes and put on a fancy reverse armscissors. Averno escapes, pull of a fancy armdrag, and takes a hiptoss to the floor. Panther right after him with a tope. No one else comes in – everyone else acts like they're seconds and roots for both guys to get up. Replays, and they're back in. Averno reaches for Panther, Panther turns into a wristlock, and that is that. Crowd digs it. Stuka carries Panther around on his shoulders.
2: Everyone else gets to play! Mephisto and Stuka back and for leads to Stuka monkey flips back and forth. Ephesto kicks Stuka out, Cometa backflips into to deal with him. Flipping armdrag sends Ephesto to the ropes, Cometa handsprings over an Ephesto slide out, but turns into a Mephisto kick. Kick for Stuka too. Corner whip, but Stuka just leaves Cometa into a headscissors on Mephisto, and Cometa boosts Stuka into a dropkick on Ephesto. Cometa off the apron with a headscissors onto Ephesto. Averno bumps Stuka out of the ring, then sets up Panther on the top rope on a charge. Panther blocks a slap and flies off the middle rope with a headscissors. Panther all fired up, Mephisto tries a quebradora, Panther falls on top to block it. Both back up, Mephisto ducks under a clothesline, kick, Devil's Wings. Ephesto to the middle rope, legdrop one two three.
3: Rudos beat up the técnicos at ringside, or choke Cometa on the ropes if you're Ephesto. Averno tries to crotch Panther on the barricade, and Panther just falls in. It goes better for Mephisto (but not for Stuka, really.) Rudos come together to pound Cometa. Ephesto breaks out the front backbreaker for a two count. Mephisto corner clotheslines Cometa, and knocks off the others form the apron. Averno goes out to chop Panther more, while Mephisto puts Stuka on the top rope to untie it. Ephesto takes over from Mephisto when Mephisto is warned, and Averno does the same. Stuka's eventually kicked out. Match has slowed down in terms of action, and difficulty of the action. Panther's held for a running shot from Averno, but tho other técnicos pull out Averno, Panther fights off Ephesto, and Panther topes Averno again. Comet swing kicks Ephesto away from the rope, jump up, and follows with a tornillo that connects with Ephesto oddly. Still gets a two count. Cometa tornillo spot goes poorly, but they improvise a cradle out of it. Mephisto breaks it up right away. Whip, Cometa huracanrana blocked, and the rudos rush in with dropkick to the head. Mephisto cover,s but Babe Richard tires to direct the rudo out – it also means he doesn’t have to count when the técnicos come hurrying in to break it up. Rudos clear the ring, the faceslam on Stuka goes badly, rudos work hard to ignore it one two NO. Wow, no one kicks out of that, but Stuka didn't have a great cradle there. Ephesto misses a corner charge on Cometaand takes a knee bump out. Cometa runs – Brillo Cometa connects, though one of Cometa's feet hit the top rope and his knee seems to bang on the apron. Mephisto and Panther in, Panther with the fireman's roll, but Averno breaks that up with a dropkick. Stuka dropkick Averno to the ropes, ducks a Mephisto clothesline, and rope flip armdrags him out. Stuka turns to run, ducks an Averno clothesline, and gets dropped by a Stuka chop. Stuka double wristlock sets up him jumping to the top rope for a springboard moonsault onto Mephisto. Averno and Panther left in, and both playing to the crowd. Averno misses a clothesline, Panther grabs his arm, Averno fouls Panther. That was blatant and quick. Averno gets on Panther, not cover but to get in more punches. Doesn't matter, it's an easy DQ for the ref.
Replays are shown, but no post match talking.
Match 2: Máscara Dorada, Rush ©, Super Porky vs Mr. Águila, Negro Casas, Volador Jr. ©
Arena Mexico, 05/24/2013
técnicos
Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 11:03
Rating: below average/okay
Notes: Mascara Dorada is wearing a Tiger mask, and with a Kid Mascara Dorada. Aguila is wearing evil clown makeup and has Mije with him. Zacarias has weird hair. Babe Richard is back to referee this match.
1: Dorada and Casas try to start, but the guys in this match are much more willing to break up holds. Especially Rush. Mostly Rush. Negro finally gets in a cheap shot on Rush, and Rush is more than willing to get in a chop fight. Dorada helps, and Negro goes out. Rush goes out to fight more, and chop more they do. Negro's thrown into the barricade at a low speed while everyone else watches. Match results with Volador/Porky handshake comedy. Volador gets annoyed and slaps Porky in the face, and Porky gets the crowd to chant mean things at him. Rush slaps Porky, and Porky gets back to work. Porky ends up belly bumping Volador and following with a plancha. Other four rapidly finish.
Rush isn't done, taking Negro out more to beat up. Aguila heroically makes the save with punches, but Dorada goes after him.
2: Dorada pulls of the corner twirling headscissors on Volador. Zacarias attacks, Mije also attack and Rush clears the ring of the pests with kicks. Negro kicks down rush and kicks him in the face repeatedly. Rush fights up, chops and stomps Negro, and goes after the ref. Negro breaks free and kicks Rush in the midsection a lot, but gets caught by Rush and sets on the top rope buckle. More chops, Rush grabs Negro by the hair, Negro chops back Rush climbs up, Negro headbutts him off. Negro goes at Rush, but Rush headbutts him down. Crowd is rooting for Negro, as usual. Aguila runs into a overhead belly to belly suplex and takes a slap. Rush dropkicks Aguila in the corner. Tags. Volador superkicks Porky, then slams him and pins him.
Negro brawls with Rush outside, while Aguila works over Dorada in the corner. Aguila heel kick sets up Dorada for a Volador t-bone suplex into the corner. Aguila pulls Dorada away from the ropes while cover for the other pin.
3: Rush takes a superkick, though the rudos have trouble following up with a waistlock and a frontcracker. Volador backdrops Dorada high in the air. Porky starts the comeback by “ducking” a clothesline, sticking a leg out to trip Negro, and putting on the slowest casita ever. That actually works, which is the worst part.
Rush missile dropkicks Aguila and follows with a tope con giro. Volador gives Porky a backcracker, does not get crushed, does get the three count.
Dorada knocks Volador of the ring and follows with a tope rope moonsault. Aguila misses a dropkick on Rush, Rush stomps and stops while double stomping him. Invisible football kick has little follow thru, but Rush still does the pose. Rush off the ropes, Negro grabs him leg, ref looks that way, Aguila hits his heel kick (in theory), Negro Casas punches Rush, Babe Richard realizes he's probably not supposed to be looking that way any longer way too late, and Aguila covers for three.
Aguila continues to stomp Rush after the fact. Negro walks off, then comes back to taunt Porky. Volador carries Mije off on his shoulders. Negro comes back in to stomp Rush himself. Porky complains on the mic, and Aguila slaps him. Rush gets the microphone , which powers him back to life. Rush gets the microphone, says he's not interested in Aguila, but yells his catchphrase and demands a mask match with Negro. Negro gets bleeped in his response, telling Rush off. Rush threatens Babe Richard for some reason. Aguila challengers everyone, then backs off.
Replays and show.
