Match 1: Ángel de Oro vs Felino in a lightning match
Arena Coliseo, 05/05/2013

Winner: Felino
Match Time: 6:06
Rating: eh
Notes: Referee is Edgar. Zacarias is with Felino.

Opening mat wrestling has Felino tie up Angel de Oro in his trademark reverse figure four in seconds. Angel de Oro is mildly disturbed and the match just moves on. More back and forth holds which should cause trouble but don't really for the first 90 seconds of the match, then running. Felino outruns Angel de Oro, dropkicking him in the face to send him out. Felino teases his springboard dive out, hops to the apron instead, and Angel de Oro trips him up. Oro tope. Replay of that. Back in just long enough for a headscissors and a moonsault dive. Angel de Oro has control, looses it only so Zacarias can get in the 619. Camel clutch/dropkick spots feels less forced, but anything feels less forced than the first spot. Oro frankensteiner gets a two count, oddly not reversed in to a superbomb. Angel de Oro sequence #1 gets a two count. Felino throws Angel de Oro off on a casadora, punches him on the mat, and lands his middle rope elbow drop for the win. That was not much.

Match 2: Diamante Azul, Máximo, Rush © vs Ephesto, Mephisto, Volador Jr. ©
Arena Coliseo, 05/05/2013

  1. rudos

  2. tecnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 12:39
Rating: ok
Notes: Referee is Pompin.

1: Pairs are Diamante Azul/Ephesto, Máximo/Volador – and it stops there when Máximo is to focused on a kiss and the rudos rush the técnicos. Azul takes Volador's double knee smash to the face in the corner. Ephesto almost loses Rush on the triple powerbomb to finish, but it works out.

2: Rudos stay in control. Máximo starts the comeback with a butt to Ephesto's face after 90 seconds. Maximo topes Volador and the other two técnicos beat the other two quickly. Azul grabs Mephisto as if for the German suplex, but then drops him forward for his holds. Rush is now doing the senton sit regularly. Post fall comedy with Máximo trying to kiss Volador, and the rudos making the save.

3: Showcases go Azul, Rush, Máximo. Rush threatening the referee for no reason is becoming a regular thing. Ephesto is the only rudo who gives Rush any problems, and that's only because he's first. Long crowd shot bridging the end of Rush's sequence and the beginning of Maximo's. Máximo tries to do Toscano's backwards bridging pin and can't get over, but it's fine since Mephisto is breaking it up to start the sequence of big moves and break up pins. Volador is last with the superkick and backcrakcer on Azul, but Máximo grabs him for the kiss of death, and that's it.

JCR interviews the técnicos. Azul challenges for a tag title match with Rush. Rush tells everyone off.

  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 11:18
Rating: good
Notes: Referee is Bestia Negra.

1: Valiente chops Pólvora hard before they go into an equal opening. They're in and out quick. Dorada and Dragon are next, but again briefly before Dorada gets kicked into his corner and tags in Místico. Místico springboard headscissors Dragon, but Escorpion immediately shoulders blocked him out. Escorpion presses Místico above his head, and drops him on an empty chair. Revolucionarios take over the ring and toss Místico into a Pólvora dropkick, which is a nice way to use the usual finish. Three count ends it.

2: Escorpion taunts the fans and drags Místico around ringside. Back inside, Valiente get a sunset flip reversed into a dropkick. Místico brought in and booted out. Corner whip for Valiente, Escorpion charges in, Valiente moves out of the way, Escorpion hits the corner, stops, rolls out, and Valiente just stands in the ring waiting for something. Pólvora fakes a handshake to set up a Dragon Rojo attack. Someone forgot something there, that whole sequence didn't look right. Escorpion comes back in , rudos corner whip Valiente again, Pólvora charges and spears the post, Valiente quebradoras Pólvora, then moves out of he way for a Místico tope con giro on Escorpion. Dorada springboard flip torito on Dragon Rojo, Valiente tries a springboard moonsault bodyblock in the same corner, Pólvora can't quite catch him and everyone else collides (Dragon Rojo may take a knee the face in the middle of this, he's grabbing it after.) Three counts anyway.

3: Valiente lets the rudos run into his armdrags. Nice quebradora for Dragon Rojo. JCR says Valiente – about to go in a Now or Never tournament – is at the best moment of his career. Escorpion takes a big flip to the floor, and Valiente runs him over with a tope. Místico in next, to a decided mixed reaction. Polvora's headscissored out. Dragon Rojo slams Místico, stomps him into the mat, and does a big pose. Escorpion dropkicks Dragon Rojo by mistake to give Místico back the advantage, and and a backspin headscissors sends Escorpion out. Místico slingshots out into one more headscissors on Escorpion. Escorpion yells at the cameraman for watching him in pain. None of the rudos particularly want to face Dorada. Dorada gets cheers and no boos. Evasion, Dorada tossed up and own with an armdrag. Pólvora is hesitant, not when he should be, but Dorada keeps it together for his corner spin into a springboard headscissors. Double rotation headscissors on Dorada. Tecnicos talk, and Místico suddenly springboard shooting star presses Escorpion, while Valiente dives thru the corner to deck Pólvora with a tope and Máscara Dorada tope con giros Dragon Rojo. That was a great set of dives. Rudos are in danger of being counted out, but Pólvora makes it back in, in time. Pólvora again seems to forget what spot he's doing with Dorada. Dorada gets it back together for his Sling Blade. Dragon Rojo in, and dropping Dorada with a headscissors counted into a faceslam. Big boot for Dorada, Dragon Rojo off the ropes, and rope bounced into a faceslam. Escorpion chops Valiente back, Valiente back with a huracanrana -no, Escorpion blocks it with a sit down powerbomb. Two count, Místico breaking it up in time. Escorpion chops Místico down in the corner, Místico revers the corner whip, Escorpion flips him to the apron and slaps him back. Escorpion on the adjacent ropes, Místico plucks him off with a springboard huracanrana. One two Pólvora stomps the pin up. Técnicos argue, then Valiente boosts Dorada into a dropkick on the rudos (who were way too close. ) Valiente sets up – Valiente Special! Dragon Rojo catching his breath, and Dorada springboard moonsaults on him form the top rope. Místico and Escorpion back in once more, and Escorpion takes off Mistico's head with a clotheslines. Místico rolls up to Escorpion's shoulder for a huracanrana. Místico off the ropes, La Mistica, that's it.

Replays. Miguel interviews the winner. Dorada calls them the Nueva Reyes del Aires from Guadalajara, and they're going to take care of the Laguneros. Miguel and Valiente both talk about Valiente being at the best moment of his career.
