Match 1: Estrellita vs Amapola in a lightning match
Arena Mexico, 04/28/2013

Winner: Amapola
Match Time: 6:48
Rating: ok
Notes: Amapola rushes Estrellita before the whistle. Referee is Maya.

Amapola chokes Estrellita in a variety of fashions. Clothesline has looked better. Chop fight leads to a kick fight leads to Amapola winning that. Maya almost gets in the way of a corner whip, ducking out of the way at the last second, and getting a stern talking to from Amapola. Back to choking. Whip, takedown, elbow drop, waving at the crowd – though it's actually more in the direction of the lock. Corner whip, running shoulder to the midsection. Amapola tries it again, and this the post. Estrellita runs out to the apron and follows with a plancha off the apron. Stomps and punches on the outside, then back in for a jumping Estrellita clotheslined. Inside springboard armdrag almost goes bad, but they keep it together. Estrellita stops to dance, Amapola reacts poorly, then throws Estrellita down by her hair. Estrellita with a couple headscissors, Amapola out, Estrellita rolls and poses. Amapola screams at the camera person. Back in, and both miss. Amapola pulls Estrellita into the ropes for the usual throw down by the hair. Running sit on the ropes. This match is all the usual spots. Amapola and Maya get into an argument about Estrellita being to close to the ropes, Maya ends up counting anyway. Estrellita backslide for two. Dropkicks send Amapola out. Amapola back in without incident, except being stomped as she rolls in. Whip, reversal, Estrellita casadora, Amapola pusher off to escape, Amapola inside cradle, Estrellita escapes, Estrellita trips and casita, Amapola escapes, Estrellita takedown and bridging cover, two count. Corner whip, Estrellita dropkick, two count. Estrellita backs Amapola into the ropes, reversal on a whip, Devil's Wings, one two three.

Amapola yells at JCR, but ignores the suggestion of challenging for the title. She may have lost the hair, bit she won the fans.

Shocker is a big fan of forearming today. Shocker puts on a hold on Negro, Rush tries to stop Euforia from breaking it up, Euforia moves and Rush's dropkick misses, Euforia reaches for Rush but Diamante Azul grabs him from behind, German suplex there, Olímpico slam and double stomp on Niebla Roja, and rush pins him with one boot.

Rush fights Euforia, nearly moves onto fighting Bestia Negra. Negro is able to surprise Rush and stomp and kick down him in the corner, but Rush turns it around and stomps all over Negro. Rush knocks Negro over with a big superkick. Rudos finally turn it around by Euforia just knocking Shocker down, then cleaning off the apron by himself. Negro submits Shocker for the fall and holds on until Shocker gives up.

En Busca de un Idolo promo.

3: Rudos work over the técnicos. Rush takes the Niebla Roja front flip double heel kick of doom. Shocker ducks a double clothesline a double clothesline to start the beatdown a couple minutes in, and the rudos mostly fight back with brawling. There's bit where Euforia is waiting in the center of the ring for about seven seconds for Azul to hit him with a top rope planchas. Rudos hit each other by mistake, Rush lands his tope con giro onto both Guerreros and stands them up for an Azul top rope plancha. Negro tease going out, but instead stays in to finish it with Shocker, and Shocker immediately cradles him for the win.

80th promo.

Notes: Místico confronts Volador on the ramp and headscissors him there. Místico runs up to the stage, poses, and jumps off with a plancha. Referee is Maya.

1: Místico poses, and Volador shoves him down from behind. Volador brings Místico in and kicks him down on the run. Corner whip, superkick lays out Místico. Running corner kick to the face. Volador sets Místico on the top buckle and goes for his mask, much to the referee's annoyance. They argue about it. Volador stomps Místico down, then whips him into the rope for a flapjack. Pose, backcracker, one two three.

2: Místico beats up Místico on the outside, and takes advantage of the lack of barricades to toss Místico face first on the seats. Crowd seems behind Volador. Volador and Maya argue, and Volador goes back at Mistico's mask, this time ripping it before untying it. Místico ducks a clothesline, pulls of a headscissors, and follows Volador out with a tope con giro. Místico tries to climb in first, but Volador pulls him back and throws him down so he could have the honor himself. Volador in no hurry to do anything, and so Místico springboard planchas him on the way in, then finishes with a torito to the take the second fall, despite the ropes being almost within Volador's reach.

Pierroth promo.

80th Anniversary promo.

3: Evasiveness has an awkward moment with Volador keeping it back on track and Místico landing a run up the corner headscissors. Volador out, Místico top rope Asai moonsault. Volador again make it back in first, and is ready this time – Místico springboard huracanrana turned into a big powerbomb for a two count. Místico ugly casadora cradle gets a zero count, another huracanrana, and powerbomb, Volador puts his feet on the ropes, one two Místico kicks out at about the same time as Maya notices the cheating. Volador and Maya argue again, Místico inside cradle, Volador rolls thru and lands a front cracker, one two NO. Volador off the ropes, charges, and tossed out. Místico to the outside of the middle ropes, and off for a flying headscissors to the floor. Mistico's getting in all the dives, but not much in the ring. Both slow back to the ring. Místico the apron for another dive, but Volador yanks him down by his ankles. Volador back in, again hanging around doing nothing, Místico springboard sunset flip in, Volador rolls thru, head kick ducked, Místico inside cradle one two th-NO. Volador clotheslines Místico, Místico flipping before it connects. Crowd louder for Místico. Whip, reverses into a Místico inside cradle, reverse to a double armbar by Volador, Volador letting go of one arm to yank Mistico's mask. Volador tries to turn his body to block Maya from seeing the mask pulling, but Maya sees it and doesn't do much of anything. Místico gets his foot on the bottom rope anyway. Edit? Místico kick caught by Volador, Volador pounds the knee, sings one too many times, and Místico catches him in his La Mistica II. Volador blocks it form being on complete, and Místico has to let go to not be pinned. Both back up, Místico blocks a clothesline, kicks Volador, crotches him on the top rope, Volador stands and waist, and Místico pulls him off with a springboard huracanrana, one tow NO. Both stop to rally the crowd, which seems more behind Volador yet again. Volador flipping run, more evasion, Volador superkick, backcracker, one two NO. Místico has a very pimply looking back. Both up and evasive, Místico tries La Mistica I, Volador throws him of the arm, Volador grabs at the mask, Místico fights to try to keep it on, Volador pulls it free anyway and punches Místico as he covers his face. That's it. Maya goes to raise Mistico's hand, and Volador kicks him down too to kick Místico a few more times.

Volador says it doesn't matter that he lost the match, because he won the fans. True but problematic.
