Match 1: Hijo del Fantasma vs Tiger in a lightning match
Arena Coliseo, 03/31/2013

Winner: Draw (time limit)
Match Time: 10:27 (officially 10:00)
Rating: ok/good
Notes: notes

Joined with Fantasma dropkicking Tiger and covering for two. Tiger takedown Fantasma down, misses a follow up dropkick, only get a two count. Temporary submissions by both, though Tiger gets his half crab to last a little longer. This transitions to cradles back and forth for two counts. Fantasma armdrags Tiger away. Tiger puts on a modified camel clutch. Fantasma escapes and puts his own on. More battling on the mat as three guys loudly chant Esto Es Lucha. Fantasma is able to armdrag Tiger away. Fantasma off the ropes, over, and landing a loud superkick. Whip, reversed, Fantasma ducks a clothesline and back with a headscissors. Fantasma off the ropes, and landing a big tope into Tiger. Fantasma brings Tiger back in, and drops him hard on a Michinoku Driver for a two count. Fantasma corner whip, reversed, Tiger lands a corner clothesline, Tiger corner whip back the other way and landing a superkick. Tiger puts Fantasma on the top rope and goes for his mask for whatever reason. Fantamsa's mask just snaps on, so it wont' take long, but Tiger doesn't try all that much either. Tree of Woe kick to the chest, and a running dropkick to the chest as well. Five minute call is about 15 seconds early. Cover for two by Tiger.

Whip, reversed, Tiger over, under, Fantasma rolls backwards into a dropkick to the backside. Fantasma out, and Tiger after him with a nice tornillo. Replay. Tiger back in first, and dropkicking Fantasma in the chest as he comes in one two NO. Tiger smacks Fantasma back in the corner. Chop. Tiger takes off his own shirt, fixes his pants and goes back to Fantasma. Corner whip, Tiger charges in, Fantasma flips him to the apron and gives him a stunner over the ropes. Tiger to the floor, Fantasma to the middle rope – moonsault onto him. Fantasma didn't get a whole lot of distance on that, good Tiger was close. Replay. Crowd busy chanting at each other. Tiger makes it back in first, and kicks Fantasma coming thru the ropes. Whip, Tiger powerbomb, feet all in the ropes, and Edgar notices. Tiger shoves Edgar and argues the point. Fantasma sneaks behind, inside cradle one two NO. Tiger annoyed. He slams Fantasma, and slaps the top buckle. Tiger taking too long to go up, top rope senton con giro misses Fantasma moving out of the the way in plenty of time. One two NO. Fantasma and Tiger chop fight each other, Fantasma taking off his shirt to make it fair. Nine minute call is at 9:45, so someone's messed up the clock! Fantasma drops Tiger with a quebradora, one two NO. Ten minute mark is right here. Both guys are slow up and look tired. Whip, Tiger drop toe hold, casita, one two NO. Whistle blows for the time limit draw a couple seconds later, at what I have as 10:27 (measured live as 10:29.)

Both guys are unaware and keep fighting, then appeals to the crowd. They're unhappy when Edgar raises both of their arms. The replay, which is usually in a color for técnico or rudo, is in black and white.

JCR asks Fantasma about turning rudo – he's been handed a Porra Ruda shirt and those fans are chanting Fantasma rudo. Fantasma completely ignores it to say catchphrases and say Tiger is good, and asks for a rematch for these fans. Tiger says he was close to winning and wants a three falls match to prove it.

Miguel interviews Averno, Dragon Rojo and Pharaoh Olímpico. No one asks why Olímpico is suddenly Egyptian. Dragon Rojo says he's the best middleweight, much better than Sombra. Averno doubts Blue Panther's maestro resume, he's the only true maestro, he'll prove in the ring. Crowd disagrees.

Match 2: Blue Panther, La Sombra, Super Porky vs Averno, Dragón Rojo Jr., Olímpico

  2. rudos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 7:56
Rating: ok/good
Notes: Mije is with the rudos. Referee is Maya.

1: Joined with the rudos trying to jump the técnicos , but Sombra not having it. Punches for Dragon Rojo, superkick for Averno, Dragon Rojo lead into a dropkick on Olímpico, Olímpico headscissors Dragon Rojo out and takes him out with a big tope. Técnicos immediately win.

2: Sombra ready to face off with Dragon Rojo. Chop fight, which turns into a forearm fight, which turns into both of them dizzy. Dragon Rojo decides to bail. Averno shoulderblocks Sombra out, Panther in to face him, but Sombra trips up Averno from outside. Averno recovers to put Panther on the middle rope for a headscissors. Olímpico knocks down Panther with a shoulderblock and slaps Porky. Porky complains, then splashes Olímpico as he tries to sunset flip Panther. Rudos in on Porky, but he splashes two of them. Averno kicks Porky out, Sombra springboard headscissors him, then rope bounce headscissors Averno out. Olímpico wildly misses a clothesline, and Sombra runs up the buckles to attack him, but Dragon Rojo trips him up and attacks. Stomps and shot into the buckle, while the other two rudos wrap it up.

(A new) Pierroth is coming. Soon.

80th Anniversary.

3: Dragon Rojo goes for Sombra's mask while the other guys fool around outside. Mije is standing on the middle rope for some reason. Ah, Dragon Rojo drops Sombra near the corner for Mije's headbutt drop. Averno puts Panther's leg in a chair and kicks at it repeatedly. Announcers note they're partners next week. Back in the ring, Sombra slips in a quebradora on Dragon Rojo, but Olímpico makes the save. More stalling, then Dragon Rojo lands his corner low blow dropkick on Sombra. Replay of that. Rudos spinebuster Porky and Olímpico tosses Mije on top. Mije kicks Porky in the head on his way out. Everyone stomps Blue Panther, to the point where Maya teases a DQ but does not deliver. Rudos fool around, and Sombra attacks Averno before the rudos get a hold of him. Corner clothesline misses, and Dragon Rojo takes down Dragon Rojo for punches. Olímpico tries to break it up, lands on Dragon Rojo instead. Sombra boost headscissors to take Averno out, and Dragon Rojo is left alone. Sombra rips off his shirt. Chop for Dragon Rojo, springboard into a counter dropkick. Dragon Rojo is fired up, then turns around to be small package one two three. Dragon Rojo, kind of a dummy there.

Sombra challenges for Dragon Rojo's title. Dragon Rojo talks just long enough no to accept the match. Sombra raises it to mask vs mask, which doesn't even merit a response. Sombra repeats his challenges in an interview.

Harlem Shake video. I think I can tell which kid is Tiffany & Kraneo's, because one just keeps doing the Gangnam Style dance. (Is the other with Demus? About the right age.)

JCR & Fabiola talk about the main event.

Match 3: Diamante Azul, Místico ©, Valiente vs Euforia, Niebla Roja, Volador Jr. ©
Arena Coliseo, 03/31/2013

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 11:04
Rating: ok/good
Notes: Referee is Bestia Negra.

1: Crowd busy chanting back and forth about the merits and upbringing of Místico while Niebla Rojo and Diamante Azul start. Rudos finally get bored with breaking up Azul's holds and just launch the full attack. Volador, in colors more associated with Sin Cara (or Magnus), takes off Mistico's mask pretty quick, but apparently not enough for a DQ. Giant swing/double dropkick on the new guy. Valiente's face gets crushed on a Volador front cracker. Niebla Roja is way short on his corner flip double heel kick, but Volador finishes that off. Euforia takes care of Valiente right after. Crowd cheers for the rudos.

(A new) Pierroth is coming. Soon.

2: Místico is pressed on the outside, and dropped onto Niebla Roja's soles. Místico back in for the flapjack kick. Azul avoids a high speed Niebla Roja corner charge to start the comeback. Volador does manage to slap Azul down, but boosts Místico into a huracanrana on Euforia. Valiente flying armdrag sends Volador out, and Místico wipes him out with a tope con giro. Euforia tries for the Euforica Special on Valiente, but Azul breaks that up with a German suplex of his own, and Valiente buster on Niebla Roja finishes it.

80th promo

3: Valiente and Volador avoidance spots set up a Valiente springboard armdrag. Niebla Rojo in and out with a dropkick the knee, and Euforia out with a fireman’s carry armdrag, taking a flip on it that. Valiente slides out to chase Euforia, who trips over Niebla Roja trying to escape. Valiente has no one left, so he comes back in to celebrate. Diamante Azul press slams Volador at the rudo corner, and Volador seems angry when Euforia stands there and doesn't try to catch him, then directs him to take over. Volador is down on the ground for a while. Azul gives Euforia and Roja his usual offense, Roja going long distance on monkey flips. Obvious edit here, joining Místico and Volador in progress. Both pull off flipping runs, Místico headscissors Volador to the ropes, Euforia back elbows him down and Niebla Roja stomps him on the down. Roja goes for Mistico's mask. Whip, Místico boost headscissors on Roja, reverse spin headscissors on Euforia. Místico up top, diving headscissors to the floor onto Euforia goes well. Valiente runs – Valiente Special onto Euforia as well. Euforia got up quick there. Other two rudos in, but a boost dropkick bit with Diamante Azul goes badly. Niebla Roja goes out anyway, and Azul follows with his tope. Volador and Místico in. Announcers say the crowd is divided, but it's mostly divided. Evasions and reversals end up with a Místico La Mistica. Crowd boos a bit – less than live, seems like they've sweetened the reaction quite a bit.
