Match 1: Fuego vs Sangre Azteca in a lightning match
Arena Mexico, 03/17/2013

Winner: Fuego
Match Time: 7:19
Rating: ok
Notes: Referee is Bestia Negra.

The two spend about the first three minutes on the mat. Sangre stands Fuego up for some chops, but Fuego comes back with a hiptoss and Sangre's usual monkey flip. Rebound armdrag sends Sangre out, Fuego slide out after him (and over Alexis.) Sangre slids back in. Fuego wais for something to happened, and then he and Sangre seem briefly lost in the ring before Sangre lands his wheel kick for two. Sangre springboard DDT leaves Fuego in trouble, but Sangre throws himself out after a corner charge, and Fuego tope con giros him. Sangre recovers to throw Fuego into the barricade. Five minute mark.

Fuego springboard dropkick Sangre, can only get two. Sangre armdrags Fuego around, but misses on a dropkick, Fuego 'rana blocked into a powerbomb one two NO. Fuego sets Sangre on top, climbs up, forearms Sangre in the face a few times, Sangre knocks Fuego off, and comes of the top with the Estacas Aztecas. Referee clearly calls them to be shots to the thighs. Two counts either way. Sangre misses a corner charge, Fuego sets him up top, stands on the ropes with him, and pulls him off with a huracanrana. Fuego up top again, top rope splash comes up empty. Sangre covers one two No. Sangre ties up Fuego’s legs, lowers his head, and Fuego small packages him fro two. Sangre gets up, spins around, misses a senton. Fuego with the Flashina, one two three.

JCR interview Kraneo, Misterioso and Averno about the next match. Mije does not get to talk.

Match 2: Ángel de Oro, Diamante Azul, La Máscara © vs Averno ©, Kráneo, Misterioso Jr.
Arena Mexico, 03/17/2013

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 15:01
Rating: okay/good
Notes: Referee is Edgar. Mije is with the rudos.

1: Misterioso and Angel de Oro taunt each other thru backwards rolls. Announcers are promoting the Arena Coliseo show with big surprises but no names yet. Averno walks out rather than face La Mascara. La Mascara gets Kraneo instead, who slams La Mascara and dances over him. Mascara cradles him for a one count and armdrags the big man around. Mascara superkicks Averno off the apron for yelling too much and chases him outside, which allows the rudos to get the drop on the técnicos. Brief brawls turns into the rudos trapping the técnicos in the ring and working them over. Misterioso dropkicks Diamante Azul out, goes thru a fake dive, and stops to chop Angel de Oro down. And then he gives Angel de Oro a belly to belly suplex for the pin. Averno and Mascara are in next, but Averno kicks Mascara out and throws him into thee barricade. Kraneo finishes Azul instead.

From earlier, Sombra says he wants a mask match with Volador Jr.

80th Anniversary promo.

2: Averno throws Máscara to the stage, grabs at his mask in front a Máscara fan, and rips up the fan's sign! She (of course it's a she) doesn't seem too disturbed, instead just yelling support to La Mascara. Rudos work over the other two, and Kraneo helpfully holds Mascara for an Averno kick. Averno keeps going for the mask, though the referee stops him this time. Máscara slips in a headscissors on Averno, but the rudos stop him for more. Corner whip, Máscara evades and boosts headscissors Averno out. Misterioso knocks him down, Angel de Oro springboard armdrag him down, Kraneo shoves down Angel de Oro, and Diamante Azul faces off with him. Quebradora sends the Invasor out, and Angel and Azul follow with topes on their opponents. Mascara and Averno back in again. Averno clothesline misses, Máscara casadora into a campana, and that's that.

From earlier, Místico challenges Ultimo Guerrero's

80th Anniversary promo

3: Averno snatches the third fall sign to use on La Mascara, but Edgar comes out on the ramp warn him about that. Averno does get the sign in the ring, but Edgar takes it away and tosses it on the ramp (where security quickly grabs it.) Averno runs from La Mascara again. Angel de Oro gives Misterioso a nice helicopter headscissors (Misterioso still spinning after) and Kraneo and Mije have their usual problems. Mije takes a big legdrop and is later escorted to the back (which is sort of edited out here.) Meanwhile, Angel de Oro finishes with a diving headscissors on Averno. Azul gives Kraneo the giant armdrag, and monkey flips Misterioso back and forth. Announcers talk about Azul's judo background. Everyone who faces Sangre Azteca must have a judo background. Azul finishes with a quebradora on the floor on Averno. Averno returns to take Mascara's usual, but gets cut off from a dive by the other rudos. The other técnicos dropkick them out, and everyone - teases a dive, huh. Azul and Mascara are pulled out, and Angel de Oro's pescado is just not caught by Kraneo. Rudos throw Angel de Oro back in, triple faceslam for him. Técnicos arrive just to kick Misterioso and break it up. Rudos sends Mascara and Azul back out, then go for a triple powerbomb on Angel de Oro, but Oro reverses to a 'rana on Averno for two. Angel headscissors Averno out and follows with a moonsault. The other técnicos pin the other rudos.

Tecnicos are interviewed, don't really have much to say.

Match 3: La Sombra, Marco Corleone, Místico © vs Euforia, Último Guerrero, Volador Jr.
Arena Mexico, 03/17/2013

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 8:00
Rating: ok
Notes: Referee is Maya. Joined in progress.

1: Volador & Sombra, still in their matching gear from Friday, fighting on the ramp while the rudos jump the rest of the técnicos. Very obvious edit early on; they stick with the same camera shot, but suddenly people have changed positions. Euforia chokes Marco inside while UG throws Místico around on the outside. Sombra flips over the barricade, while the rudos flapjack and trip Místico. Corner charges for Místico, setting up Volador's double knees and the senton de la muerte. Místico is pressed into a double gutbuster for his elimination, and the técnicos somehow made him captain so that's it.

2: Volador superkicks Sombra in the corner. Flying sit on Marco. Sombra boosts off Volador to escape a double clothesline. Big edit to cover whatever got botched here. Sombra and Marco knocked down the Guerreros, Místico springboard headscissors Volador and Sombra tope con giros him. Other técnicos beat the other rudos.

3: Místico lands the ramp running flip 'rana on Euforia, and a less well times headscissors on UG. Backspin headscissors sends UG out (to boos.) Volador walks out on Sombra, but Sombra spits at him (and Euforia yells at Volador), so I guess it's on. Their back and forth end with Volador superkick Sombra but being tossed out, and Sombra having a little powerbomb on the apron headstand headscissors bit, though they do get a little bit of the headscissors. Marco blocks a sunset flip while ducking Euforia clotheslines, which is a neat trick. Punch for him, punches for UG to knock him off the apron repeatedly, and a flying clothesline from there. Místico headscissors blocked, Euforia throws him in the corner but hits the corner hard himself. Místico goes up top and lands a diving headscissors on him. Sombra and Volador in to finis hit. Sombra lands a reverse plancha for two. Volador 'rana has some issue, then goes on then Sombra rolls thru anyway for two. Volador puts the stop sign up, yells at Maya grabs him – and throws Maya around by the shirt. Blatant low blow foul on Sombra, but that's just not going to work at all. Maya get up, breaks up the pin, and gives the match to Sombra. Volador kicks Maya down and stomps at him and Marco. Volador acted very oddly there.

Tecnicos talk, don't have much to say. Místico and Marco are best friends. That's it.
