Arena Coliseo, 11/04/2012

Winner: Misterioso
Match Time: 8:57
Rating: okay
Notes: Referee is Bestia Negra.

Three minutes of usual opening work ceases when Misterioso slaps Diamante in the chest. The match has a long moment of a comical amount of whips and reversals before Misterioso slows it back down. Diamante hiptoss Misterioso out, chases him back in and lands a springboard plancha. Diamante knocks down Misterioso and is very proud of himself. Headscisosors sends Misterioso out, and Diamante tries to top him. Tope gets there, but not with much on it, as if he hit the ropes on the way thru. Five minute mark. Replay shows he caught on a knee on the middle rope. Back live, Misterioso tosses Diamante to the apron, and he springboard tornillos off the top rope. Replays, Misterioso thrown in, Diamante kicks him away, but this time Misterioso rolls thru the springboard plancha for a two count. Overhead belly to belly suplex is a two count for Misterioso. Diamante 'rana reversed by Misterioso for a two count. Misterioso bends over Diamante, and slaps him hard on the back. Two count. Corner whip, charge misses, Diamante to the apron, tope con giro there misses but Diamante rolls thru and quebroadoras Misterioso on the floor. A second, because nothing is more brutal than a backbreaker on the floor. Both back in, both miss corner charges, Diamante scoops up Misterioso and drops him in the corner, 450 splash but no one's home. Misterioso clothesline Diamante, then scoops him up. Gori Special, three count.

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 12:11
Rating: good
Notes: Mije is with Kraneo. Rafael el Maya is ref.

1: Pólvora rushes Mascara Dorada and runs him into the post before the match really gets started. Panther and Kraneo have a fight, but Psicosis sticks his foot in and both land corner clotheslines. Fantasma tries to help and knocks Kraneo down, but Psicosis helps out with kicks. Mije lands a running low blow headbutt. Pólvora and Dorada make it back in, where a chop fight ends with a Dorada 'rana. Rudos break it up and try a triple faceslam on Dorada, but are in such a hurry that they miss Dorada reverse to a bodyscissors cradle on Psicosis. He hangs on for the pin. Everyone on the outside is confused about the outcome, and Dorada hurts too much to celebrate.

2: Fantasma headscissors Kraneo, but is distracted by Mije. This ends badly for Mije, kicked and legdrop by Kraneo by mistake. Mije rolls out, and Panther drops him on the floor. Kraneo takes an amusing bump on a enziguri. Tecnicos start making quick tags, with Dorada nearly winning with a splash off Polvora's shoulders. Pólvora blocks Dorada's torito, and sit down powerbombs him for the win. Rudos continue attacking the técnicos after the fall.

3: Pólvora knocks around Dorada, then slaps Panther in the chest very loudly. Panther takes down Pólvora, but the Invsaors break that up. Panther makes a tag to Fantasma, but he's unhappy to be facing Kraneo again. Kraneo kicks and chokeslams him for two. Psicosis comes in for a double suplex on Fantasma, still two with Dorada breaking it up. Psicosis tags Pólvora, but trips over Maya in the process. Pólvora punches Dorada in the face repeatedly. Dorada's mask is very loose. Pólvora tags in both partner, Dorada flips Kraneo to the apron a charge, sidesteps Pólvora and headscissors Psicosis. Pólvora is left standing the ring with Dorada and does not like this at all. Chop fight, Pólvora winning via a kick. Whip, Dorada flipping run, off the ropes, into Polvora's flapjack. Pólvora rips up Dorada's mask, and just about pulls it off. Dorada holds it in front off his mask while Maya threatens a DQ. Whip, Psicosis misses a clothesline, Dorada Sling Blade, and now it's his turn to rip up Polvora's mask. Polvora's face is partially visible for a moment. Dorada flipped the apron but back in with a springboard headscissors. Pólvora out, Dorada out with a nice tope con giro. Panther and Psicosis in, Psicosis takedown, Mije in, Kraneo lifts him up and drops him for the big splash. Kraneo covers, Mije rolls out of the way into the ref, but Maya still counts three.

Fantasma runs in. Psicosis grabs him, Kraneo goes for a big shoulderblock (?) and only gets his partner,. Fantasma manages the massive quebradora con giro on Kraneo, and tags Dorada for a long springboards plash. Three count.

Psicosis and Dorada back in, Dorada headscissors blocked into a faceslam, but only a two count. Crowd into this. Dorada trips Psicosis in the ropes, Fantasma kicks him back, and Dorada dropkick him out. Fantasma runs, hits both sets of ropes, then hits Psicosis hard. Pólvora and Dorada in one last time, I'd assume. Dorada off the ropes, torito this fall, Maya slow to count one two NO. Pólvora would like everyone to calm down. Anther is cheerleading on the outside. Pólvora kicks Dorada in the corner but Dorada moves on the charge, Dorada charges, Pólvora puts him on top, then plucks him off. Valagueza – into a what might have been intended as a front cracker, or maybe a foul. JCR argues foul. One two three.

Pólvora gets the microphone. Pólvora says, one more time (?) he's proven he's better than Dorada and challenges for a title match next week, and attacks Dorada instead of really giving him a chance to respond. Referee backs Pólvora out, but we don't get to hear from Pólvora.

Match 3: Diamante Azul, La Sombra ©, Shocker vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Tama Tonga, Volador Jr. ©
Arena Coliseo, 11/04/2012

  2. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 8:32
Rating: ok
Notes: Sombra gets a “Shocker” graphic. Dragon Rojo, with his CMLL title, gets the Sombra graphic, then the Dragon Rojo one when he gets to the ring. Tonga gets the Dragon Rojo graphic on the way to the ring and then the Tama Tonga one when Diamante Azul attacks him. This goes very poorly for Azul, who nearly gets his mask ripped off. Sombra tries to make the save, but Volador runs him off and then stops to pose for a while. Ref is Tigre Hispano.

1: Brawling all around. Volador connects on kick duck superkick on Sombra in the ring, then turns to the camera to make a X gesture to the camera. He's also got a Dr. X themed mask, as the announcers note. Azul comes in, but Volador lets Tonga headbutt his rival repeatedly. Rojo helps from the outside. Azul fights back with slaps to the face, then superkicks Tonga in the jaw. Rudos swarm Azul before he can do any more, and Rojo punches Shocker as he comes in. Tonga chokes Azul while trying to yank off the mask. He can't quite get it, but he can yell at the crowd. Sombra's clotheslined in the corner so Rojo can get in his low blow dropkick. Volador holds Shocker on the ropes while someone in production hits the wrong button a few different times. Tonga elbow drops Shocker, poses, and still stops Shocker from making a tag. Azul is armbarred a bit. Tigre Hispano argues over a tag, but at least not as much as the other ones. Tonga corner splash. Corner whip the other way, but Tonga runs into a powerslam this time. Azul yanks Tonga around by his hair for a bit, including lifting him up by it and dropping him on his shoulder. Tonga out, Azul out after with a tope. Volador and Sombra in, dueling flipping runs, Sombra powerslam, double moonsault connects, and a reinera on Dragon Rojo.

2: Sombra's quick offense run on the técnicos includes headscissors on both Dragon Rojo and Volador, and a big tope con giro on Volador. Shocker pulls out a wheel kick on Dragon Rojo, but Tonga breaks up his tirabuzón. They're working very fast here, as if they know they're late. By the clock, it seems that way. Azul planchas Tonga, lifts him up for a powerbomb but Tonga pulls of the mask. Tonga forearms and shove Azul down, no change of hiding the DQ. Tonga spikes the mask in the mat, picks it up off the mat, and spikes it again. Tonga throws the mask back as the ring as he leaves.

Azul screams on the mic for a singles match next week. Tonga shrugs to the crowd like he doesn't know what Azul is saying. Rudos walk off, as cocky as possible, but Tonga holds up on the ramp. Tonga's not really audible on the mic, but tells Azul to be calm.
