Match 1: Joe Lider, Juventud Guerrera, Samurai del Sol vs Daga, Dark Dragon, Psicosis
Centro Banamex, 08/19/2012

Winner: rudos
Match Time: 8:45
Rating: ok
Notes: Nicho is unmasked. Why? Who knows. Maybe the commission, but it's the same one at Arena Ciudad de Mexico. Samurai del Sol gets the usual non-introduction on the show, just appearing out of nowhere. Juvi comes out with the doctor one step behind him, Juvi trying to be all firey for the crowd but grabbing his chest and the doctor telling him he shouldn't be doing this. The doctor has been a much more active participant in angles lately. Juvi is ignoring doctor's orders, of course. Joe Lider's hair is not all the way back, but headed there. Juvi gets the microphone and talks about Daga illegally hitting him in the midsection. I have no idea what he's talking about. Juvi says the doctor wants to sit out for weeks, but he overly dramatic says it's in his heart to wrestle for all these fans. Juvi seems to signal for someone to come form the back, but it can't be who he wants – it's Konnan and Xema Ion. Rudos want clarification if Ion is with them, but they're told he is. Konnan's mic isn't working, and then it is and he taunts like usual. Man, when I saw this segment was 19 minutes, I thought this was going to be a nice long match. Six minutes in, still gabbing. Konnan introduces Ion, and Ion talks himself up before telling Juvi he's going to win his championship too. Juvi is amused and telling Ion he's the best in Mexico and best in the world. Juvi stops talking for a second before Daga grabs the microphone away. Daga reminds Juvi he's the best, as Juvi remembers his ribs hurt. Juvi slaps him, fight beraks out, BREAK

Match starts 8:42 into the YouTube segment. Not quite half done, but still. Piero rings for the whistle despite Konnan and Ion still being in the ring. Dragon throws Samurai to the floor and attacks him there. Samurai del Sol doesn't have his usual gear, just a pair of trunks. He has his boots and all, anyway. Fenix runs in – perhaps that's who Juvi wanted – and springboard dropkicks Ion out. Fenix swings thru the ropes and – just stands on the apron. I guess he's replacing Juvi? Yea, Juvi is leaving. Samurai del Sol back in, Brillo Dorada onto Dragon. Fenix gets Nicho with a spinning DDT, as Lider does something to Daga we don’t pick up. Fenix over the top rope for a Fosbery flip plancha to the floor. Lider sets up for a random Asai, but Daga gets up and kicks him. Daga climbs up to the top rope, but Lider comes up to punch him, and then clumsily superplexes him to the floor on to the other two guys. I guess Lider was trying to do the move without falling uncontrolled to the floor. Samurai chops, Dragon chops him down. Off the ropes evasion, Samurai del Sol headstand headscissors, and back spin headscissors to send Dragon to the ropes. If you drink every time the announcers say 'Chicago', you'd blackout out by now. Though at least the announcers are trying to explain him. So Sol superkicks Dragon into the ropes, stands on his back, and turns into a reverse bodyscissors for two. Samurai calls Dragon to his feet, and they battle over leg kicks. Dragon kicks him in the midsection, evasion, Dragon pumphanlde powerbomb. Lider breaks up the pin. Dragon headscissors Lider into the corner, but headstands on another corner whip (?) and Lider runs and kicks him in the face. Daga kicks a celebrating Lider, and strips off his Perros del Mal shirt. Psicosis comes in to help, and Piero sends him back, despite Psicosis standing in the ring right next to him. Way to make the ref looks stupid. Lider come back immediately anyway, dropkick to the knee. Whip, Daga springboard plancha caught and turned into a a Death Valley Driver. Lider with forearms, off the ropes, clothesline blocked, and Daga turns it into a reinera slam. Psicosis comes in to crotch chop fro no reason. Fenix comes in and breaks it up the pin. Fenix rips off his shirt, grabs Daga, Daga right back with chops and quick kicks to the head. Daga poses, and Psicosis wanders into a kick again. Daga gives Fenix something like a reverse brainbuster. Jesus comes up with “facebuster”, despite nothing at all happening to Fenix's face. SO BAD. Samurai breaks up a pin. Corner whip, reversal, Fenix jumping enziguri, kick to the face, running death valley driver to the other corner, one two Daga kicks out because Psicosis took the oddest route to break it up. Psicosis gets Fenix with a reverse neckbreaker anyway and crotch chops at him. Psicosis waits for Fenix to gets up, and slaps him in the back of the head when eh won't. Psicosis loose powerbomb, Fenix easily flips free, superkick, clapping, off the ropes, Fenix jumps over him and rolls to the ramp. Flatliner there, then Fenix goes back in to springboard out for a double knee drop on Psicosis. Back in, Lider flips Dragon flipped to the apron, right next to some conveniently set up chairs. Lider kicks him, joins him out there and scoops Dragon up. Dragon can barely stay in position while Lider poses, then reverses it to a Canadian Destroyer off the apron which misses the chairs entirely. So dumb. Daga and Sol back in, Sol end up on Daga's shoulders, and Daga electric chair slams him after a could tries one two NO. Samurai into the ropes, springboard into an inverted 'rana one two no. Sol lets everyone know he's going up to flip, then takes too long and gets kicked in the back by Daga. Daga up with Sol, they grapple on the ropes, off the middle Destroyer. One two three.

Match 2: Dinastía, Fabi Apache, Pimpinela Escarlata vs Mini Histeria, Sexy Star, Yuriko
Centro Banamex, 08/19/2012

Winner: técnicos
Match Time: 11:10
Rating: ok
Notes: Pimpi tries to kiss Jesus, doesn't quite get it.

Usual pairs as the announcers hype Heroes Inmortales in SLP with the cage match and Copa Antonio Pena. Pimpi missile dropkick Yuriko out and kisses Mini Histeria. Sexi gags on the apron. Replays. Replays. Sexi swings in and poses, and Fabi destroys her with a dropkick to the back. Replays. Fabi runs into a Yuriko dropkick, but Fabi immediately headscissors her out. Histeria tries to slingshot in, but trips over the ropes and falls down. Tecnicos and fans are amused. Dinastía heel kicks and headscissors Histeria, then kips under a Sexi star clothesline. Sexi still ends up booting him in the face. Dinastía kips out of a corner charge and headscissors Sexi out from the mat. Pimpi chases Sexi around the outside, then Sexi just stops and attacks him. Beatdown is just that random. Yuriko uses Teddy's powerbomb backcracker on Dinastía. Rudos run into Pimpi's backside to start the comeback, which is mostly chasing around the rudos around ringside. Jesus says Fabi is totally natural and Sexi “gracias surgery!” Why would you say that? Back in the ring, Fabi crushes Histeria with a dragon suplex, but Yuriko break up the pin. German suplex for her! Fabi gets her with her diving headscissors to the floor, the drags her back for a tope con giro. Pimpi teases a dive, and Dinastía helps Pimpi to the top rope for a tope con giro into everyone. Histeria sets up for a dive, but Histeria waits for him to turn around and waits for him to run for a plancha. Histeria kick, cradle powerbomb one two NO. Jesus, normally a rudo, is cheering for the técnicos here. Jesus with a forward legsweep, and kick tot eh chest, then a standing moonsault for two. Dinastía drags Histeria to the corner, carefully, double moonsault one two three. Huh, that seems familiar.

AAA plays Dinastía music, then changes their mind and plays Pimpi's.

Match 3: Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown vs Máscara Año 2000 Jr., Texano Jr., Toscano for the AAA World Trios Championship
Centro Banamex, 08/19/2012

Winner: Consejo
Match Time: 12:01
Rating: okay
Notes: Consejo enter together and with Tirantes trailing behind. Mascara Año 2000 is dressed up like his father, just his post mask look now. Loud booing for both teams, if that's what that noise is. Tough to tell. It's turned up way too high to and peaking out. Title belt presentation before the match. Hard camera points into the crowd, which is great, but it's so dark and the cradle is far away that it's impossible to see them. Mini Clown is with the challengers.

Monster and Toscano start with even armdrags and trips. Monster traps Toscano in a waistlock, then an underhook armbar. Toscano flips out and armdrags Monster. Shot of Mini Clown to cover up an odd edit. Jump to Texano jumping in and demanding to face Psycho. They have unresolved Guapos U issues! Battle over armdrags is equal. Psycho headscissors Texano from the mat to set up zero pins and a standoff. Tags to Murder and Mascara. Murder hiptosses Mascara, Máscara and kicks him away, charges in the corner, and misses. Murder squashes Máscara in the corner once, but misses on the opposite corner. Máscara scoops him up, slams him, and walk unsteady. Other Consejo rushes the other clowns, and stomp the rudos. Corner charges for Monster. Psycho kicked as he comes in. Whip, boot for him, and thrown out. Double tapatía and kick to the face for Murder. Spinebuster for Psycho, and Texano whips him with the lasso. Toscano tries to slam Murder, Murder stops and slams Toscano instead, and Texano mistakenly hits Toscano with the lasso before catching on. Psycho quebradora on Texano, boot for Toscano. Rudos take turns whipping and using Monster's belt on the guys. Toscano lunges a Monster and gets belted in the back, then bent over for another shot. Rudos threatens Tirantes, will not actually hit him. Flying sit on Texano. Toscano held over Monster's knee for Murder's clothesline. Mascara this everyone, everyone hits him, then safely drops him the pile up plancha. Tirantes threatens a DQ for reason totally unclear. Tirantes back Murder in the corner, where Toscano and Texano crotched him on the post. Other Clowns miss dropkick on T&T. Texano and Toscano screwed up on their own, and soon Texano's kicked Toscano and runs into a Psycho clothesline. Texano take the hip bump out, Psycho lands a top rope splash on him, and Monster topes Toscano. Monster and Mascara in to finish it. Chop fight, goes for a few rounds before Mascara goes down. Psycho press slams Mascara, then points to the corner for a splash. Tirantes pulls Murder down before he can get up, and they argue about it. Mascara tries to rush Murder, but Murder catches him with a chokeslam. Tirantes gets involved again, and Murder shoves down Mascara to grab Tirantes instead. Press lift on Tirantes – but Máscara fouls Murder form behind. Sit down on top pin, Tirantes counts fast for good measure.

Match 4: Electroshock & Vampiro vs Chessman & Último Gladiador
Centro Banamex, 08/19/2012

Winner: Vampiro
Match Time: 14:22
Rating: bad
Notes: Ultimo Gladiador exists! He brings a chair to the ring, as if there weren't enough. Chessman brings his own chair. Maybe they could have someone bring the chairs to the ring for them before the match so the wrestlers wouldn't look dopey. Electroshock has a new outfit. It's oddly pink. Vampiro runs into a Chessman chair shot to the back, which is confusing on many levels. Chessman hits Vamp in the back five times, Vampiro doesn't even drop to a knee. Chessman forearm sna d kics him, and he goes down. Charis are for losers! Ref is Piero.

Moves to Electroshock, kicks to Vampiro. You got work with who you got. Ultimo Gladiador more concerned with his shirt falling down and fixes it as Chessman set up Vampiro for another chair shot. Crowd soundly deathly quiet, which I'm almost sure is the sound mix and not what it sounded like live. Still makes for a very boring match. Vampiro and Gladiador have a bad headbutt contest. Everyone loses. Things low to a stop for a while. Vampiro comes back with kicks, rudos kick him around. Rudos look at the crowd to get some sort of reaction. Chessman almost hits Gladiador with a chair on mistake when aiming for Electroshock, holds up in time, but Vampiro hits him with a chair anyway. Rudos have been very careful to hit Vampiro in the back on chair shots; Vampiro does that for Chessman but not so much with Ultimo Gladiador, wildly (though not strongly) hitting him in the head. Tecnicos use Electroshock belt shots for a while. This match is six minutes long and feels way too long. Lame brawl for a while. Gladiador takes a monkey flip on the ramp. I am bored. Everyone settles down. Vampiro chops Chessman. Chessman chops Vampiro. Vampiro has to go to one knee for about 20 seconds to regain his breath. Vamp might want to do a bit of cardio. Chessman sells big for all of Vampiro's moves, and UG makes the save after a spinebuster. Vampiro rests in the corner and UG runs into boots until Vampiro gets his breath back. Gladiador enziguris Vampiro, Vampiro comes back with a badly timed punch, then finally tags out. I never knew I'd be so happy to see Electroshock in a match. Vampiro doesn't stay on the apron, instead going to the floor so he can kneel down and catch his breath. Electroshock offense ends with the cutter. That beat Kurt Angle, but Electroshock doesn't even bother trying a pin Chessman after. Electroshock/Gladiador offense ends with a Electroshock tope. Chessman gets some token offense, then Vampiro holds him in a choke, and Chessman powerbombs him self. One two three.

Replays. Konnan's music plays, but the bit after the match is not shown.

This message paid for by el Consejo: Silver King, wearing a Consejo t-shirt, says Mascara had one of the greatest matches with Wagner, but losing was “mal mal mal.” Silver wants Wagner's mask, and wants Texano to get Octagon's mask. Máscara and Silver have a testy conversation, but Texano calms everything down. Huh.

Match 6: Cibernético & Dr. Wagner Jr. vs Halloween & Silver King
Centro Banamex, 08/19/2012

Winner: técnicos by DQ
Match Time: 8:26
Rating: eh
Notes: Silver doesn't wear the Consejo shirt and uses his own music. He's also wearing his old Black Tiger ring robe. Wagner gets last entrance. Silver attacks him on the floor to start the brawl. Tirantes is ref. No opening whistle.

Announcers say Silver King is leader of Consejo. Rudos get it together for Silver to give Cibernético a top rope senton con giro. Wagner stall on the apron as long as possible, then makes a one man kick and clothesline comeback. Silver distracts Wagner with a mask ripping, then punches him into the path of Halloween's spear. Two count. Cibernético arrives late to break it up, then stands waiting for someone to run at him for a while. Tirantes finally grabs him so the rudos can get in kicks. Cibernético also gets his own comeback, because that's how this had to be laid out to make the técnicos happy, I guess. Punches and kicks to Silver. Cibernético does some more standing and waiting for people come close enough for him to hit him. Silver and Cibernético have a slap fight that's about 1/10th as fierce as Rush and Terrible's stuff. Halloween trips running the ropes, then has to get up to run into Cibernético's spinebuster. Sucks for him. Spinebuster for Silver. Wagner brings in a chair, and gets to use it on both rudos before Tirantes takes it away. Wagner kicks him, as he gets to do in every match. Silver gets the chair, Wagner stands there, and just back put as Silver throw the chair at his face. Chair shot to the back. Silver cover while putting his foot on the ropes in the most obvious way fashion, and Tirantes kicks it off. I have no idea the point of that. Silver and Wagner do a sunset flip reversal ending with a silver enziguri for two. Dramatic chop fight, Wagner powerbomb one two NO. Silver slaps Wagner around the the corner, Wagner ducks under and slaps him chops him back. Crowd gets super loud here, they haven't been reacting most of the match. Corner whip, reversed , Wagner kicks Silver off the apron, poses, and gets in his tope con giro. Halloween strips off his shirt, charge, and turns rights into the chokeslam. Halloween does mange to get free, but then miss a corner charge and stumbles right back into the chokeslam. Cibernético dramatic cuts his throat and looks around. Cover, and Trauma I runs into attack. The rest of the Perros are behind him. I forget the Perros were part of this run in. They're not identified. DQ called here.

Bizarros are in with in seconds and clearing the ring without much of a fight. Cibernético gets a microphone and breaths heavily. One of the Biazrros is wearing a ski mask, because I guess Taboo forget his normal mask? Is that Taboo? I'm not even sure. There's no explanation of why Espiritu is out there in a Bizarro shirt, among the other things that must be completely random to people who only watch the TV show. Cibernético challenges Perro into the ring. Perro asks the fans if they want to see him vs Cibernético alone. Cibernético is open to that. Perro comes in, and poses on the ropes. Cibernético charges, Perro takes him down, they brawl on the ground, and everyone rushes the ring to fight. Wagner and Silver too. Perro and Cibernético go outside and into the crowd ASAP, the cameras loose them quick. Announcers are already hyping the Domo de la Muerte. Perro and Cibernético brawl out of the arena set and into the greater expo. Wagner does his microphone work – most everyone else having disappeared – and calls Silver King “Silver Cain” again. Wagner challenges Silver to come back in and see who's number 1. I guess that might have changed from the last few times we've seen it, but I don't know. Wagner finishes his catchphrase as Silver came out.

Cut to “Backstage” footage” which is anything but, Perros and Bizarros fighting out into the expo portion. I guess Ski Mask is Taboo, he's got the pony tail. This is shot from really close footage, so you can tell they're brawling but you can't get a sense of it. They're surrounded by fans and it's incredibly chaotic.

Recap of the show.
