Match 1: Metálico, Pegasso ©, Starman vs Arkángel de la Muerte ©, Nosferatu, Skándalo
Arena Mexico, 09/07/2012

  2. técnicos
  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 19:40
Rating: eh
Notes: Starman's changed his music again. Or no one can remember what Starman's music is from week to week and they just hit shuffle on their dance music playlist. Metálico has a new jacket. Nosferatu using Batman music sound alike is weird. Referee is Rodolfo

1: Pairs are Metálico/Nosferatu (3 long minutes of mat wrestling), Starman/Arkangel and Pegasso/Skándalo. This is very much a veteran segunda opening fall, with all the excitement it entails. Announcers are bored enough to invent a Starman vs Arkangel feud and suggest they immediately have a mask match. Skándalo pulling off an armdrag from the mat is amusing. JCC refers to a Pegasso headscissors as “slow motion.” Starman comes back in to send Skándalo out, Nosferatu dumps Starman, then powerbombs Metálico. Metálico catches him in a twisted headscissors roll on the mat, but can't get it to work right and has to just do a normal pin. Nosferatu!

Arkangel and Metálico sort of brawl, Metálico sends Arkangel towards the técnico corner, Arkangel stops for no reason, stands for two seconds, and gets his by a Pegasso plancha. Arkangel does manage to dropkick Metálico out, but Starman pulls him out and drops him on the outside. Skándalo clothesline Pegasso in the ring, then drops him with his double underhook piledriver. Rudos win the fall after all. A nine minute fall!

2: Rudos dominate. Low blow dropkick, check. Rudos take a lot of time to set up a dropkick to the floor, mostly because Nosferatu doesn't know they're doing a dropkick to the floor. JCR has brought up Euforia and Nosferatu being in the Infernales for the second time this match. This just points out Nosferatu was holding back Euforia all that time. Low blow elbow drop, check. Rudos kick around the técnicos. Metálico starts the comeback by ducking down on a Nosferatu charge (or they totally messed up the timing on an armdrag.) Rudos get it together, just to have it fall apart again. Pegasso can barely get Skándalo with a quebradora and decides to go for his mask for no reason, Allowing Arkangel to break it up. Starman breaks up a tapatía with a sunset flip for two. Quebradora, Arkangel struggles around, and Starman submits him with a tirabuzón.

3: Skándalo scares the ring girl away. Nosferatu gets Metálico with a bigs pear, but Metálico just revers the next whip and dumps him anyway. Metálico does his tiger pose after headscissoring Nosferatu, which JCR picks up on. Starman quickly gets in his offense on Ultraman. Pegasso gets in the revenge low blow dropkick on Skándalo, and starts starts the end game. Metálico has a nice top rope tope to knock over Nosferatu. Chop fight is back and forth until Nosferatu kicks him questionably . Nosferatu awkwardly feeds himself into a headscissors submission, but the rudos break it up. Nosferatu spears a jumping Metálico , then holds him a standing figure four cradle. It takes Rodolfo a while to count it as a cradle, but it's enough for three.

Starman missile dropkicks Nosferatu and sentons him for two. Next sequence ends with Nosferatu going up and landing a top rope plancha, but that's also only two. Metálico wheel kicks Nosferatu out, but Arkangel spins himself to clothesline Metálico down. Arkangel tapatía, Metálico dropkick, out gos Starman. Pegasso whipped to Skándalo, Skándalo Driver, with lots of running to set it up. Three count. Announcers have called both this move and the move in the first fall the Skándalo Driver. Fine work, everyone.

Match 2: Marco Corleone ©, Máximo, Rush vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Rey Escorpión, Último Guerrero © for the CMLL World Trios Championship
Arena Mexico, 09/07/2012

  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 11:35
Rating: ok/good
Notes: Rey Escorpion and Dragon Rojo high ten and totally ignore Ultimo Guerrero. Ultimo Guerrero seems to be in a fine mood anyway. Tecnicos, in light blue, out together to Rush's music. Rush has his other belt too. Monito leads them to the ring. Commissioner is Rambo. Referee is Babe Richard. Rudos switch it around so Ultimo Guerrero goes from nearest to the belt to the farthest from the belt. UG still not getting it. Rey Escorpion and Dragon Rojo celebrate without Guerrero some more.

1: Rush and Dragon Rojo lockup immediately, which feels like a clip. They battle over arm holds on the mat. Bucanero calls Escorpion a traitor, so I guess he's taking Guerrero's side. Rush and Dragon Rojo go head to head and shove, but tag out. Dragon Rojo tags in Rey Escorpion, of course. Tag to Máximo. Once they finally lockup, Máximo goes right for the kiss, but Rey blocks it. Máximo gets in an armdrag and spins for the kiss, but Escorpion backs away. Battle over armbars leads to another armdrag and another spin. Rey Escorpion complains to the referee, who is no help at all. Escorpion trips up Máximo, Máximo headscissors from the Mat, zero count trips, Máximo goes for the kiss and Escorpion backs off again. Máximo blows a kiss. Tag to Escorpion, and Ultimo Guerrero tags himself in. Marco goes to the corner to pose, and UG tries to attack him. Marco catches him and steps down, then dances. Marco with a drop toe hold and a front facelock! Guerrero out to an armbar and a fujiwara, but Marco rolls thru and turns him over into a cradle for two. Marco up and teasing the dancing. Marco with a kick and punch. Whip, UG slides down to his knees and grabs Marco by the legs, which confuses Marco enough for the other rudos to attack Marco form behind. Monito in his hiding spot. UG calls for a double suplex, but the other two pull him away and do it without him. Rey Escorpion tells UG to go up, then stops him when he does, so Dragon Rojo can do the top rope splash instead. Richard refuses to count until everyone else leaves, but still counts three.

Ultimo wants to do the huddle dance, but his partners ditch him. UG tries to do the group pose, but is left posing by himself. Then they do the dance without him! UG still hasn't caught on, it's sort of sad.

2: UG starts elbow dropping Máximo, but Rey Escorpion rushes and takes over to kick Máximo down. Tag to – Dragon Rojo, of course, whip, double boot. Rush in, but met with chops and kneelifts. It take both Guerrero hammering Rush to subdue him, but then they just keep stomping Rush because he's Rush. Corner whip, charge in, corner clothesline. Rush set up on the ramp for the Guerreros sit, and Escorpion does let UG boost him into the sit. I was wondering how they'd do it without him. Escorpion still doesn't celebrate with UG. Rudos bring out Marco for the same, but Rey Escorpion distracts himself knocking around Máximo first, then runs and is caught by Marco as he turns it around. Marco dumps Escorpion inside for a Rush dropkick, then the técnicos hiptoss UG in. Máximo boosted in to a headscissors on Máximo, UG rolls out, and Marco hits him with a ramp dive clothesline. Máximo finishes Rey Escorpion, and Rush does the same with Dragon Rojo.

Tecnicos celebrate with their wacky pose.

3: Rush and Dragon Rojo slug it out, with Dragon Rojo surprisingly winning but Rush still dropkicking and stomping him out of the ring. Off the ropes evasion ends with a Rush spinning kick to the face. Rey Escorpion and Rush slap each other, avoid enough, and Rush lands the running elbow smash. Kick to Rey Escorpion's jaw leaves him staggering out. UG runs in right into Rush's belly suplex. Rush slaps UG, sends him back to the rudo corner, and charge into a boot. UG out into a superkick, though it only gets about chest level (and UG got bot his ands out.) Rush fakes the dive. Dragon Rojo comes into hit him, but Rush ignores Rojo and takes in Máximo. Máximo headscissors sends Dragon Rojo out, then double springboards Rey Escorpion in. UG in, Máximo very happy, rope evasion leads to Máximo being (happily) spanked, headscissors, everyone blocked kiss cradle one two rudos to try to break it up, técnicos cradle them one two NO. Marco whipped into the corner, leapfrogs around and over everyone, springboard clothesline only this UG when the other two split. Dragon Rojo and Rey Escorpion kicks Marco count. Other técnicos in, but their dropkick miss and the rudos knock them out of the ring. Dragon Rojo slingshot tope con giro, Rey Escorpion no hands version. Captains in. Marco flips UG to the apron, Apron slaps him back and climbs up, top rope plancha, Marco rolls thru one two three! That's it.

Marco confirms UG is the captain and gets his arm raised. Rey Escorpion and Dragon Rojo protest from the outside, completely confused as to how they lost. Rush and Máximo aren't totally clear, but they high ten Marco anyway. Replays. Rejoined with UG slapping Rey Escorpion and Escorpion kicking at UG. Dragon Rojo tries to keep them apart. Técnicos brush them off and leave, though Máximo seems to want to talk to UG again. Dragon Rojo and the referee are still keeping them apart as they go the full replays.

Rudos are still arguing.
