Match 2: Atlantis ©, Diamante Azul, Shocker vs Felino, Mephisto ©, Mr. Niebla
Arena Mexico, 09/09/2012

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos

Winner: rudos (2-0)
Match Time: 9:17
Rating: bleh
Notes: Entrances here as well. Also, a break before the match gets started. That's a clue! Referee is Rafael Maya.

1: Opening is Felino pulling Azul's in various directions, before whipping him into a Niebla kick. Niebla singlehandedly clears out the técnicos, leaving Mephisto with really nothing to do but hang out with Zacarias. Felino does bring over Shocker so Mephisto can get in an elbow and feel included. Niebla brawls with Atlantis on the outside, then brings him in to rip at his mask in a more visible area. Mephisto bends Shocker off the middle rope for some Zacarias kicks. Rudos work over Atlantis. Atlantis make a totally legal tag to Azul, but Maya disallows it because the rudos want to work over Atlantis for a bit longer. Felino taunts in Azul thinking the ref will stop him, and the ref is not so much in a hurry to stop Azul. He gets back off, eventually. Rudos work over Atlantis' mask a lot. Azul finally gets in and Niebla bails. Mephisto confuses Azul by offering a handshake and sneaks in a kick, then Felino takes over for chop. Announcers still refer to Azul as DF heavyweight champ. Azul rallies back and chops Felino. Whip, reversed, Azul runs the ropes, Felino clotheslines him and dropkicks him fast. Tag to Shocker, but Felino pulls Azul back. Shocker's legal here, so the ref pulls Azul back while the rudos work over Shocker. More chops, slaps and kicks until Shocker rolls out. This feels like a long fall, but it's just been a lot of one thing. Felino finally cradles Atlantis for the pin.

2: Azul monkey flips Niebla, but Felino knocks him down with a running shoulderblock. Felino manages to shoulderbreaker Azul, no small feet given the big difference in size. Mephisto kicks and slaps Azul hard, until Azul falls over. Mephisto taunts the técnicos. Atlantis gets the best of Mephisto and Niebla briefly before they get it together. Atlantis sidesteps a corner charge to start the comeback proper, taking care of all three rudos by himself. Azul missile dropkicks the Pesta Negra due awkwardly, then Azul and Atlantis tope those rudos. Shockercito and Mephisto lug it out, both avoiding each other's shots with limited success. Shocker get the knockdown blow and the time killing hold but Niebla boots to break that up. Other four all in, rudos knock down both técnicos, kiss, and Felino drops Azul in position for Niebla as he goes up. Top rope splash, inverted figure four, técnicos are down.

A child dressed up as Zacarias is very happy, though unhappy when they stop playing the Peste Negra music (which he/she was dancing too) so Felino can ask for the title match. In the background, one of the producers talks to Zacarias about the other parrot. You can tell this wasn't a hard match, Felino never took off his vest. Niebla burps into the microphone before also making the challenge. Atlantis accepts for his team next week, then they brawl again. Or Felino just runs for Azul as the other two tumble around on the ground.

After replays, the two parrots dance together.
