Match 1: Fabi Apache, Lolita, Octagoncito vs Mari Apache, Mini Charly Manson, Sexy Star
Expo Tampico, 08/10/2012
Winner: rudos
Match Time: 10:54
Rating: good
Notes: Sexi has her belt. Octagoncito is wearing his Mayan warrior outfit again. Sexy gets annoyed with Lolita's dancing, and the two sides nearly start a brawl over it before Fabi's had a chance to enter. Referee is Pepe Casas, the last person out. Lolita hugs him, so Sexi makes sure she gets to hug him too. Matches takes 6 minutes to get started, somehow longer then Arena Mexico entrances. More dancing, I guess.
Sexi Star and Lolita's opening back and forth goes okay until Lolita tries a casadora armdrag, and it's good that Charly comes in after that. Rudos bumble, take a rebound double armdrag. Announcers are saying “Lolita mas bonita”, which sounds familiar. Apaches tease a handshake, but Mari just ends up kicking Fabi in the face. That's kind of like a handshake for these two. Exchange of armdrags leads to a Fabi headscissors to send her sister out. Fabi roll poses, and Charly dropkicks him in the back. He and Sexi kick Octagoncito down on the apron, then assault the two women. Mari trips Octagoncito off the apron and beat him up on the outside, then comes in to help double clothesline Lolita. Triple boot sends her out. Charly gives Octagoncito a big back suplex in the back ground of Sexi stomping people. Poor Octagoncito gets bodyslams, elbow dropped, and leg dropped. Fabi grabs Sexi by the hair, but Charly breaks that up and yanks her hair around. Everyone takes turns Fabi in the had, Mari's looking most vicious, as always. Corner charges for Lolita, finishing with Sexi's sit down and backside wipe. Octagoncito sidesteps Manson's corner charge to start the comeback. He ducks a double clothesline, and the ladies return to dropkick the other ladies. Fabi kicks Mari around the ring while everyone else briefly brawls on the outside. Tecnicos return to the ring and rudos regroup. Mari and Octagoncito stay in to resume the match, though Mari looks around at the crowd for some reason. If they're reacting to something, we're not hearing them. Octagoncito and Mari do some comedy, Octagoncito headscissors Mari out. Sexi stops Octagoncito with a short clothesline. Octagoncito flipped to the apron, but back in with a flying armdrag. Charyl yells as he misses his clothesline, not as he takes a quebradora. Dropkicks ends him out, and Octagoncito connects on an Asai moonsault. Sexi goes for the first pinfall of the match on a face first powerbomb of Lolita, but Lolita kicks out, lifts Sexi over her shoulder, and drops off on her face. Manson knocks Lolita clear out of the ring with a missile dropkick. Octagoncito flies in to armdrag Sexi out, then armdrag and cradle Charly. Mari breaks it up, powerbomb (“Michinoku!” - no), Fabi breaks it up and the crowd gets really loud, like someone's hit a switch. Somehow turns off the switch, because they shut up just as suddenly. Dragon suplex by Fabi on Charyl, Mari breaks it up. Mari yells, swings, misses a clothesline, Fabi jumps at her, Mari catches her and dumps her sister. Running senton con giro, nothing home. Fabi up, headscissors sends Mari out. Fabi diving headscissors on the floor! Fabi pulls Mari back towards the ring while punching her, which leaves them in perfection position for Sexi Star's thru the ropes tope con giro. Lolita waves, waits, runs, hesitates, runs again, and lands her tope con giro onto the other three women. Minis in, Octagoncito misses his dropkick and Charly kicks him. Whip, reversed, Octagoncito powerslams him one two NO. Octagóncito up and waiting, Charly misses his clothesline, Octagoncito 'rana turned into a powerbomb one two three? Three. Tough to tell, they changed angles and obscured Pepe Casas on the count. Crow mildly reactions.
Rudos celebrate, then stomp the tecnica as they check on Octagoncito. See, they can beat up the técnicos after the match win or loss. The two teams brawl a little bit more when Sexi sticks around to pose, and they stick with the post match for a while.
Match 2: Aerostar, Argenis, Fenix vs Daga, Dark Dragon, Gran Apache
Expo Tampico, 08/10/2012
Winner: técnicos
Match Time: 16:08
Rating: good
Notes: Daga enters to the Perros del Mal music. Air Force enter together. Piero is referee.
Aero & Apache start, though Apache annoys the crowd for a while before locking up. Aero gets up on Apache's shoulder and pulls him down with an armscissors, but Apache escapes. Evasions and reversals end with Aero dropkicking Apache out. Dragon comes in with a plancha, then drops Aero with a Sling Blade. Fenix cheapshots Dragon from the outside, and comes in with a sunset flip and a double knee drop to the face. Daga's turn to come in and clothesline Fenix, Fenix landing on the back of of his head. Argenis in, ducking a clothesline but still taking a superkick. Argenis flips Daga to the apron, swing kicks him out,and fakes the dive. Apache comes in offers a handshake. Argenis thinks, and never really has a choice. They broth run the ropes, though different sides, and get its sorted out with an Apache shoulderblock. Apache misses a clothesline, Argenis springboard armdrags sends him out. Dragon thrust kicks Argenis as he bounces off the ropes. Chop knocks him down. Corner whip, Dragon charge in, Argenis flips to the apron, Fenix swings, Argenis blocks it and goes out, springboard headscissors sends Dragon out. Daga in, but Argenis takes care of him with a running elbow smash. Crowd is not making any noise. They're nearly invisible off the main shot, so it's tough tell if they're reacting at all. Argenis drops Daga behind his back with a faceslam, then superkicks him out of the ring. Argenis runs again, but fakes the dive again. Do it or not. Aerostar does a goofy cartwheel on the apron before flipping in the ring for front headstands. Apache mocks him with a crane pose. Off the rope evasion, Apache misses a clothesline, Aerostar with a reverse bodyscissors into an armdrag. Daga in, but rolling backwards into a dropkick to the back. This has been pretty straight forward técnico exhibition. Dragon in, Aerostar kicks him and tries to walk the middle rope, but stops and about crotches himself. Aero flips out to the apron, and springboards in to armdrag Dragon out. Aerostar poses and also fakes the dive. Apache immediately runs in and slaps him from behind. He knows enough that the técnicos shouldn't be allowed to continue their moves after they've screwed up. Fenix's turn to be in anyway, so Apache slaps him down in the neutral corner. Fenix fires up. Daga surprises Apache but coming in to take his place. Forearm to the face battle won by Daga punching Daga in the side of the head, wiping his boot on Fenix's face, and nailing him with a hard heel kick. Daga winds up, big punch is blocked, Fenix pulls Daga's shirt off and gives him a lot of short chops, then a jumping heel kick to the face. Apache sneaks in, and slaps Fenix right in the face. Corner whip, Fenix runs up the top rope and over to escape, Daga grabs him, Apache swings, but guys ducks down. Apache whips Daga, Fenix lifts him up, spins him around to get Apache, and climbs up. Top rope missile dropkick ands senton on Daga. Dragon in, and Fenix rolls over his back for an armdrag. Dragon sets up and charges again, but Fenix flips him to the apron, trips him up there, and goes up top – double knee drop on the apron.
Argenis in again, and with Apache this time. Apache circles Argenis around so Daga can sneak in behind and kick him. Rudos clear off the apron. Big backdrop for Argenis and European uppercut. Argenis tossed to the middle rope and pulled of in a spinning powerbomb. Daga adds a legdrop, and Apache a top rope senton con giro. Daga holds Fenix for the other Apache top chop., then flips him to the apron to set up a Drago kick. Apache and Dragon press Fenix on the apron, and drops him on the apron while falling out, then Daga sweeps Fenix of the apron with a kick. Seems to me it would be just easier to toss him to the floor. Aerostar runs into a Daga fisherman's buster. Daga sets up Aero in the ropes, and Apache explains the idea of the Guerreros sit to Dragon before running it. Dragon patiently waits, and continues to wait as Apache is pulled out of the ring by the técnicos. Fenix slaps Apache on the outside. Argenis comes in, prompting Dragon to move outside, but he just get tossed to the apron and pulled off. Tecincos hold Daga for a running kick to the face. Fenix is the first to dive – running moonsault plancha to the floor. Argenis waits for someone to get up, but instead runs into a Dark Dragon kick to the face. Aerostar sizes Dragon up and tries chops. Dragon pulls down Aero's top, sets up, backs up, swings and slaps Aero down. Whip, Aero back with a headscissors into a backcracker. One two Apache stops the count, then slaps Aero in the back of the head. Apache with an Anibalina, but Argenis break it up. Cutter, runs up the corner, moonsault doesn't really come close to hitting, Daga breaks up the pin. Daga pins Argenis with a wheelbarrow suplex, one two NO. Fenix breaks it up with a kick, and Kicks Daga once more in the back. Cartwheel kick to the head connects, Daga sits down in the corner, and Daga gives him a running kick to the face. One two Dark Dragon as Piero to stop counting, then breaks it up the pin. He asked! Dragon with more kicks, and a casadora front powerbomb that doesn't quite look right. Fenix charge, and Dragon just tosses him straight thru the ropes and to the floor, like a tope to nowhere. Aerostar springboard dropkick Dragon, goes to the apron – top rope tornillo! He got plenty of spins on that one. Argenis headscissors Daga out the other way, and follows with a top rope springboard moonsault. Fenix and Apache in, Fenix swings and misses, Gran Apache Devil's Wings one two NO. Barely two there. Apache slaps Fenix in the back, sit down powerbomb one two NO. Apache is having trouble holding Fenix down. Slap to the back of the head. Apache to the apron, yelling at the crowd, slowly climbing up, Fenix approaches, Apache slaps him away and yells, Fenix climbs up again, Apache shoves him down again and yells again. Apache puts one leg on the top rope, Fenix give shim a jumping kick, both up on the top rope, moonsault sideslam, one two three.
Match 3: Drago, La Parka Jr., Zorro vs Devil Rocker, Machine Rocker, Soul Rocker
Expo Tampico, 08/10/2012
Winner: Inferno Rockers
Match Time: 11:04
Rating: good
Notes: Inferno Rockers enter first. Zorro replaced Elegido. Referee is Tirantes.
Drago starts, evading a clothesline and kicking one of the Rockers well. The other Rocker pulls him off when going for a pin, so I guess we'll never know which is which. Dragon ducks a double clothesline, superkicks one, then catches the other with an up and over DDT, then a seated DDT one two other Rockers break it up. Both stay in, leading Drago to headscissors one, and trick the other to throw himself out. Drago wipes out a Rocker with a top con giro for good measure. Zorro's turn. Zorro gets a chant for the fans, which Parka leads on. Announcers decided Devil is the one in with Zorro, and they shove back and forth. Zorro gets him with a jumping snap mare, puts his head down too soon, Rocker kicks it, but runs into a clothesline on the next pass. Another Rocker – who's calling both Machine and Soul – runs in to attack. Zorro evades and tosses him with a belly to belly suplex. The last Rocker charges in, Zorro flips him to the apron and superkicks him down. First Rocker back, Zorro avoids him and lights him up with his cane. Big cane shots for the other Rockers too. Parka sneaks in behind Zorro, and almost gets caned by mistake. Drago makes peace between his teammates, and Zorro lets Parka spin around the cane – until he hits himself with it. Parka is back to comedy, messing with Machine. Machine finally starts fighting back, but Parka makes him hit the corner and leads him into attacks from Soul. Machine starts hitting Soul and Devil by mistake, but gets a hold of Parka. Soul and Devil stop, and slap Machine instead for hitting him. Parka starts running the ropes, and then starts walking the ropes and spinning around on the ropes, looks up, looks down, and scream to scare them all away. One hand backbreakers for everyone, and backside grabs. Parka fakes trips on the way to his corner and argues with the invisible person on the mat until his partner call him down. Drago back in and evading, straight to Machine taking the knee bump to the floor. That's an easy way to identify him as Semental, even if he wasn't much thicker than his partners. Daga goes up, top rope tornillo to the floor. Soul tries a sunset flip on Parka, Parka just stops free and clothesline Devil and as he comes in, then Soul too. Parka celebrates, and turns into a slap from Soul. Soul dances? I think that's what that was. Rudos take the ring. Triple spinning press slam for Drago. Corner charges on Zorro, leading to Machine doing the Bucanero rolling senton off the top. Parka knocked down, and Machine rebound hiptossed on top. Drago runs in to hit everyone, but he's slapped down. Rudos go for the same rebound hiptosses on Drago, bu Drago moves. Drago ducks some double clothesline and is booted into a dropkick to send another Rocker out. Flipping DDT on the remaining Rocker. Machine back in, evading a Drago charge and dropping him with a rolling German suplex one two three.
One of the Rockers and Zorro are still fighting after the fall. Machine hits Drago with the cane.
Hector Garza, with his shirt off for no reason and also in black and white, insists to the camera that what happened at TripleMania was an accident. Recap of what happened at TripleMania, including Perro's bloody head.
Match 4: Cibernético & El Mesías vs el Hijo del Perro Aguayo & Héctor Garza
Expo Tampico, 08/10/2012
Winner: técnicos by DQ
Match Time: 11:30
Rating: an angle and a brawl
Notes: Perros come out as a group, with everyone but except Teddy. Konnan is now wearing a Perro shirt and in the group. Daga and Psicosis are bringing a wood panel to the ring, which should be really concerning to Hector Garza. He's not in the best of mood, but he's not as fearful of his imminent death as he should be. Cibernético does not have his usual problems with stairs, so I guess his knees are feeling better. Mesías wears his belt to the ring. Hector does figure out that everyone on his team is staring at him before the match, and nothing good can come of that. Halloween charges, and Garza clotheslines him. Powerslam for Daga, quebradora for Psicosis. Konnan begs off and leaves, so Perro (and Taya) is the only one left standing. Garza takes down Perro and punches, but the rest of the groups stomp him. Garza gets free enough to take off his shirt and toss it at the others, but quickly is stomped down. Tecnicos are just watching from a safe distance. Tirantes is as well. Perro brings in the wood panel himself as the others hold Garza. Perro grabs Garza, and whips him thru the panel. Perro bites at Garza's forehead and stands over him. Tecnicos are discussing the situation, with Mesías a bit more interested in getting involved. Perro chokes Garza with part of the wood, with the others helping as they can. Finally, Cibernético and Mesías attack - let's start the clock here.
Announcers decide Halloween is actually in the match , I don't know. He stays in when the other Perros are punched out, so it's a good theory. Perro dumps Mesías, and goes back to stomping and choking Hector. Cibernético gets rid of Halloween, and takes a moment before fighting Perro. Perro fights him off. Mesías is busy slowly fighting Halloween on the floor. The doctor check on Garza. Halloween comes back in and low blow legdrops Cibernético. Perros are focused on Garza, so Halloween is a bit fighting alone. Psicosis comes in to help him. Garza is bleeding, as Perro has been working on for quite some time. Medics and the Doctor are able to pull Garza away from the Perros, carrying him on a stretcher on his stomach. Perros beat up Mesías and Cibernetico. Konnan randomly gets into a fight with a fan, which is followed by a long series of crowd shots. The fans have their back to the ring and are looking out at something in the crowd when they get back to showing the ring. Security too. No sign of Konnan. Perros continue brawling, though at a slow speed. Crowd briefly chants something, then settles down and turns back to the match. Konnan turns up back down the aisle where we last saw him, but arguing with someone, maybe the same fan. Perro misses a corner charge and Halloween dropkicks him by mistake to start the comeback. Mesías topes Perro, Cibernético throws Halloween out, and the técnicos brawl with the rudos. Cibernético throws Halloween over the rail, then tries hitting him with a sign. Not so much. Tecnicos go back in, Taya tries a top rope plancha on them both, they catch her, long crowd shot again. Back live, Mesías whips Tirantes and gives him a quebradora for no obvious reason. Tecnicos press Taya up, and tosses her out onto Perro and Halloween. Halloween helps Taya up, and decides this is the time they leave. He doesn't go long, coming back to bump around for Halloween. Halloween does mange kick Cibernético down, but then takes some clotheslines. Perro rushes in to punch Cibernético a lot. Perro gets thrown on the back of his head once and leaves. Halloween actually gets Mesías with the spear, but Mesías powerslams him and Perro has to run in and punch a lot again. Mesías armdrags and quebradoras Perro, then faceslams him into the ring. Psicosis gets on the apron to get punches. So does Daga, but Mesías only gets to one of them. Mesías climbs up, Perro crotches him, Cibernético clotheslines him, and Taya jumps on Cibernetico's back. Cibernético pulls Taya off and teases the chokeslam, but instead sidesteps and lets Halloween spear Taya by mistake. Stunner for Halloween, chokeslam for Perro, Mesías splashes Halloween, Tirantes looks, counts one, counts two, and Daga and Psicosis run into break it up. Tirantes calls the DQ – I guess this interference was more than the interference elsewhere? At least we have a finish this week. Lots of shots of fans celebrating and then the técnicos with their arms raised.
Match 5: Dr. Wagner Jr. vs Máscara Año 2000 Jr.
Expo Tampico, 08/10/2012
Winner: Mascara Año 2000 Jr.
Match Time: 11:27
Rating: eh
Notes: Texano is already in the ring for some reason when Mascara. Mascara is wearing his mask. Crowd noise goes way up when Wagner appears. Like, the exact moment he appears. It's freaky. Mascara makes like he's going to go after Wagner as soon as he steps in the ring, but doesn’t. Wagner is upset about Mascara wearing his mask. Piero is ref. Wagner gets microphone to say hello to the crowd and complain about Mascara wearing his mask. Wagner demands Mascara unmask, then goes to do his catchphrase. This ends badly for him, though Mascara is kind enough to let him finish before he start to punch.
Texano gets involved right away, which is fantastic after the mat match ended in DQ for interference. He's not successfully in hitting Wagner, so I guess that's the out. Máscara kicks his partner out by mistake, and Wagner teases going for the mask before just kicking Mascara. Wagner corner sunset flip, Mascara rolls free into some armdrags. Wagner goes to untie the mask again, but Piero stops him for some reason. Wagner goes back to work, but Texano chops him to stop. Now it totally doesn't make sense. Texano chops Wagner around, Máscara snaps mares Wagner and pulls him mask. Punches to the head. Texano pulls out the fork and hands it to Mascara to use again. Mascara stabs at Wagner for with the fork for a while, and they don't seem to get the blood they want right away. Brawling outside. Blood starts to flow as Máscara rams Wagner into posts and light stands. Back in for more punches and turnbuckle smashes, hitting the top, middle and bottom. Mascara sets Wagner on the top rope, unties, and tries to pull it off. No luck, so back down to the mat for more brawling. Wagner fires back, but Mascara punches him down with his weird looking punches. He hits almost with the bottom of his fist, it's strange looking. Mascara misses a corner charge to start the Wagner comeback. Clothesline for Texano as he comes in, clothesline for Máscara he's late for, Wagner Driver on Texano. (Called correctly!) Wagner Twister and dropkick to send Mascara out. Tope con giro off the apron. Wagner throws Mascara in and some sticks he's found. Is this supposed to be an extreme match? Maybe it I? One of the sticks has barbed wire. Wagner smacks Mascara in the back, and then in the side. Wagner grab the barbered wire stick, hitting Máscara in the head once, and the barbed wire bounces off. That seems not right. Wagner rips up the mask. Silver King runs in and smacks Wagner in the back with maybe a plastic board . Does no one have a chair here? Wagner collapses and Silver smacks him again. Crowd getting on Silver King as he hits Wagner. Silver swings and hits Texano by mistake, and Wagner makes his comeback. Shot to Silver, shot to Texano, shot to Mascara. Plenty of time between these shots. Piero takes away the board for no reason, Máscara fouls Wagner, and covers one two three.
Consejo stomp down Wagner. Mascara unmasked himself, not really a focus but a thing that happens. Cibernético, Mesías and Garza walk out of the save. The doctor tries to stop Garza, but Garza pushed him away. Consejo and Silver walk away without a fight. Mascara is all bloody and I don't know why.
Announcers saying Hector Garza was sent to the hospital are a bit undercut by him appearing in the main event. They're also pushing the main event as a battle of families, which doesn't make much sense when Wagner's family has turned on him. I dunno.
