Match 1: Aerostar, Atomic Boy, Fenix vs Dark Dragon, Gran Apache, Semental
Gimnasio Agustín Millán, 07/13/2012
Winner: técnicos
Match Time: 16:02
Rating: good
Notes: Tecnicos enter together as Real Fuerza Aerea, Fenix treated as the biggest start. Referee is Pepe Casas.
Fenix and Dark Dragon start, but have to pause before they get going for the abuelo chant. Those two knock each other over with simultaneous high kicks, and Atomic Boy and Gran Apache cover them both for two. Those two stay in, much to Apache's disappointing – he slides out and runs away at the first chance. Atomic Boy chases him back in, but Aerostar takes over for him with front rolls. Evasion, Aerostar armdrag, reverse casadora into an armdrag and out goes Apache. Dragon surprises Aerostar with a sling blade. Dragon slaps Aero into the ropes. Whip, clothesline misses, and Aero back with a double rotation headscissors. Semental in and diving at Aero's feet. Aero jumps over him and kicks him. Corner whip, reversed, Aero flips himself to the apron and Fenix just steps in for him. Kick to Semental's face, then up to the middle rope so Aerostar and step him on his shoulders. Fenix stands up, and Aero pulls of a giant flying headscissors, right out of the time and weather stamp. Replay. Fenix and Apache in, Apache stomping and slapping Fenix when he drops down too soon. Apache slaps Fenix in the chest. Whip, reversals end with Fenix trying a springboard tornillo armdrag and missing. Apache just lets him fall and slaps him on the mat. Whip, reversal again, simple dropkick this time. Semental gets Fenix with his tornillo tope and slaps him about the ring. Fenix still escapes a quebradora with a spinning armdrag, then nails Semental with a running high kick in the corner. Dragon rushes in and kicks Fenix's legs out from underneath him. Dragon slaps down Fenix. Fenix blocks slaps. Dragon a couple times weakly, Dragon wristlock him and kicks Fenix kicks him back and gets back the original wristlock. Now that they've reset, Fenix does a springboard flip into a DDT, neat. Handspring dive fake, and tag out to Atomic Boy. Semental in, and taking a much faster double rotation headscissors, though Atomic Boy just lands on his feet instead of completing the move. Springboard headscissors actually sends Semental out. Crowd shot here, and back to see Atomic Boy spinning in the ropes as Dragon comes in. Atomic Boy gets him with a handspring casadora armdrag. Apache slows things down with slaps to the back of the head. Corner whip and slaps. Back the other way, and Dragon and Apache gets in more shots. Rudos celebrate, Apache charge in, Atomic Boy kicks him down and turns his monkey flip into a headscissors on Dragon. Atomic Boy flips off Apache's chest, blocks ducks a right hand shot, gets nailed by a left. Apache shoves him back to the corner. Whip, revers, Apache pits on the breaks, Atomic Boy charge, Apache tosses him up, Atomic Boy lands on the top rope and dives off with a headscissors on Dragon. Aerostar in and hopping Apache offers a handshake. Nope, says Aerostar. Aero ducks Apache's slaps and chops him until Semental springboards in with a dropkick to the shoulder. Apache slaps Fenix off the apron. Dark Dragon stands on the top rope and holds Aerostar in a tree of woe for a Semental dropkick, then adds his own top rope double stomp. Rudos stop Atomic Boyh from being able to get to Apache, who then slaps him down. Two man powerbomb for Atomic Boy, and Semental just gets there on a failed springboard kick. Fenix slaps everyone, Apache slaps him down, everyone stomps. Younger rudos press slam Fenix into a powerbomb, then hold in position for an Apache top rope senton con giro. He is a crazy old man. Rudos hold Atomic Boy back again. Apache slaps him down. Rudos let up and Atomic Boy gets in a shot on Apache before they get control again. Complicated spot still ends up with the rudos chopping Apache out of the ring. Aerostar and Fenix come in with a springboard dropkicks on the rudos, then it gets a bit chaotic. Aeorstar's flipping to the apron, Fenix slide out to get Semental only for Semental to pass him by and land his own tornillo dive. Dark Dragon tries to springboard dropkick Aerostar off the apron, slips, and chops him off anyway, then crushes him with a big tope con giro. Apache and Atomic left in, Apache gets in the slap. Fireman's drop and Apache says that's it. He goes to the far corner, climbs up the middle rope, thinks about it, slowly goes up to the top rope – and moonsault to the floor! Only the rudos catch him. He is a CRAZY old man. Técnicos back in, Fenix tossing Atomic Boy into a corner tope con giro in on the others. Aerostar does his springboard inverted tope onto Apache and Semental as Fenix and Dragon end up in. Dragon moors Fenix on the top rope, climbs up, and Fenix just sort of backdrops him to the floor, where no one is in quite position to catch him! Dragon bounces off the floor, hitting with his back. That was lunacy even if everyone was in the right spot, don't do that. Fenix slowly gets set, then dives out the other side, doing a walk up the ropes tornillo onto Semental. The doctor and the medic are talking in the aisle, but the doctor quickly leaves. Medic still checks on Dark Dragon. Fenix's dive feels like it was changed from one side to another to stay clear, and there's a little slow down in the action while Atomic Boy tries to set up his dive safely – inside middle rope springboard on Apache.
Fenix and Dragon in. Aerostar is wandering around outside, probably was supposed to do something with Dragon. Fenix crushes Semental with a DVD into the corner, but only gets two (and big kickout.) Fenix misses a clothesline, Semental takes him out with a roll into a German suplex, one two NO. The doctor is coming back out as Semental goes up. Fenix kips kip up to his feet, then jumps for a kick to Semental's head. Both men go to the top, Fenix moonsault sideslam one two three.
Both Fenix and Semental are very slow to get up. Fenix's partners try to drag him to his feet, but even that's not happening. There are people in white coats all over the place. After replays, we see Apache is getting his head wrapped for a wound. Dark Dragon is helped to the back, grabbing his left shoulder and chest, and Apache is strechered out.
Noti AAA
Cibernético and Mesías are friends this week. Cibernético offers to be Mesías' second in his title match. Mesías wants him to stay out of the match but make sure the Perros do as well, so he can take care of Perro Jr. himself. Cibernético does not say “sorry about putting you in a coffin, setting you on fire, and letting you drift into the ocean”
Perro vs Mesías face to face. Perro has a nice watch he makes sure the camera sees at all times. Mesías is very intense, Perro is not impressed.
Dorian reveals his second team member, Kurt Angle. Jeremy Borasch interviews Kurt Angle. Kurt is not impressed by the team of Electroshock and LA Park. Partly fair! “Two Mexican jumping beans”, oh never mind. Kurt does advise Joaquin that being bald is not so bad. Dorian's not going to lose his hair because Kurt's in the match, but Joaquin is going to lose everything. Kurt Angle is the best wrestler in the world, and Jeff's probably the second best.
TripleMania press conference. Wagner/Mascara, Mesías/Perro, LA park & Electroshock yelling at Konnan & Dorian, Joe Lider & Nicho with Chessman randomly added
TripleMania promo.
Mesías walks to the ring, still in a sling. Mesías says he's been out of lucha libre for three months thanks to Perro Aguayo. They'll have a match at TripleMania. Perros del Mal interrupt. It's Perro, Hector, Daga, and Teddy. Mesías yells at Perro that it's going to be one on one. Perros says Mesías an ugly foreigner, no Mexican, and no one will cheer him except for these stupid fans in Toluca who should be cheering the Mexican. Perros turn to the crowd as they yell at them, missing Mesías take off his sling behind them. Double clothesline to Teddy and Garza, chokeslam to Daga, STO to Teddy. Crowd is barely audible for this, not sure what the deal is with the sound is this week. Powerslam for Garza. Crowd does get loud when Mesías points to Perro. Perro charge into an armdrag. Clothesline, clothesline, Perro tries to crawl away but Mesías gets him and chokes him. Mesías asks for the microphone, and tells Perro he's going to wait to TripleMania to finish him. Perro squirms away, then annoys the crowd, throwing some drinks back in to the seats. Mesías yells at Perro, but he's more interested in the crowd. Mesías says the people are his people, and Perro has to be pulled back. Mesías says he'll get Perro at TripleMania again, and that's it.
Chessman warns Juvi that he's going to win at TripleMania.
Match 2: El Elegido & Juventud Guerrera vs Chessman & Daga
Gimnasio Agustín Millán, 07/13/2012
Winner: rudos
Match Time: 14:46
Rating: ok
Notes: Chessman wears his tag team title belt to the ring. Ref is Hijo de Tirantes. Juvi has his belt too. Vampiro seems more dressed for a concert than a match, but does his old bit of shooting the crowd with the camera, though it's a lot of shooting the floor. Hug for Marisela and words for the rest of the family. Before the match gets started, Konnan's music plays. He's out, but so is Dorian and a lot of police. Dorian explains that he's called the police because Vampiro coming out of nowhere to attacking Chessman. Chessman is okay with this, though he wanted to fight Vampiro a few seconds ago. The police grab Vampiro, who does not fight it, but does yell at Dorian. Crowd chants for Vampiro. Vamp's handcuffed. This drags out for a while. Vampiro takes a run at Dorian, but doesn't get to him. A little bit of garbage is thrown at the ring. Vampiro finally is rolled out of the ring. Joaquin decides to turn up now, though they list him as Dorian because someone his the wrong button. Joaquin tells Vampiro he'll take care of it, but he can't do anything about it now. This goes on for another minute or so before they drag Vampiro backstage. Joaquin's in the middle of yelling at Konnan when Vampiro comes back, having apparently out run his captors enough to dive in the ring and get at Chessman. He's still handcuffed, so Chessman just punches him and kicks him back out of the ring. Good plan, Vamp. He's dragged to the back again. Konnan leaves. Joaquin says he's got a surprise, another partner for Juvi. Lights go out, and Elegido enters. He's in his gear, I guess just hanging out backstage half naked. Elegido does his normal entrance, and Chessman just walks up and smacks him with a chair! Chessman is so happy. Daga attacks Juvi in the ring, and I guess the match has started. Oh, wait, there's the whistle.
Rudos beat down the técnicos, heavy on the Chessman chair shots. After about 3 minutes, Juvi gets the rudos to start hitting each other to start the comeback. Elegido continues with clotheslines. Juvi slingshot to the floor to headscissors Chessman, while Elegido catches a Daga pescado and slams him into the post. Juvi gives Chessman some revenge chairshots, and a DDT onto the chair. Elegido offense run features quebradoras, clotheslines, and dancing. Chessman starts taking Juvi's flashy offense. Daga stops him with a backbreaker, but ends up just as hurt. Chessman and Elegido have dramatic near falls, then get out of the way for Juvi and Daga to chop each other a lot. Daga gets the better of their bit with a brainbuster on the apron, but Daga dropkicks him off and follows with his own tope. Juvi kicks Chessman a stunner over the ropes and tires to come in, but Chessman kicks him and DDTs him over the middle rope. Chessman covers for two, Juvi trying to get his foot on the ropes and being too far away and then sort of kicking out. Chessman drops Juvi in the corner, but is distracted by the crowd. Top rope tornillo misses, modified Juvi Driver, one two NO. 450 splash, no one home, Juvi rolls thru, clothesline misses, Chessman superkick. Chessman stops to pose, then covers, one two NO. Whip, toss, Juvi down with a 'rana, one two NO. Crowd not any more into this than they've been the rest of the show. Chessman scoops Juvi up and gives him a Atlantida breaker, one two NO. Chop fight, Juvi off the ropes, Chessman scoops him up again and tosses him forward for a front backbreaker. One two three. That was a bit anti-climatic.
After replays, Chessman gives Juvi a Devil's Wings (sort of) on the stage
Kare and Jeff blah blah blah blah
Match 3: LA Park vs Abyss for the AAA Latin American Championship
Gimnasio Agustín Millán, 07/13/2012
Winner: LA Park
Match Time: 8:44
Rating: eh
Notes: LA Park is in his La Parka gear, huh. He plays guitar with his title belt. Abyss walks out with his belt, a chair, and the Jarretts. The chairs are more useful. Jeff has an American flag. LA Park gets the microphone to yell at Jeff Jarrett. “Jeff Jarrett! Jeff Jarrett! Listen to me!” LA Park reminds Jeff they're in Mexico as he waves the US flag, and tells the fans to salute the Bruja. Piero is ref. Park and Karen argue, Park grabs Karen's throat to quiet her (!) and Abyss gallantly attacks LA Park for the save. Everyone's been standing around to take the title match photo, but there won't be one now.
This is the only match I've watched on the national version of the show, and the crowd noise is a long louder. Abyss punches Park, and his punches vary in quality. Jeff demands Jesus demand the fans clap for the Jarretts. OK. Abyss runs Park into the corner, but misses a corner charge. Jeff pops up on the apron and Park punches him off. Park grabs Karen again, and Abyss smacks him from behind again. Jarrett slaps Park around from outside. Abyss punches Park around, whip, Park slides out and chases Karen and Jeff around. Jeff sneaks in a clothesline. Jeff throws Park in and taunts Marisela. Abyss rips at Parks' mask and throws him back out. Jarrett gives Park a couple chair shots to the face. Park has been bleeding already. Karen distracts Piero from the weapon shots, but it's not like they'd call a DQ anyway. Piero threatens to throw the Jarrett out, but Abyss grabs him and convinces him otherwise. Jeff gets up on the apron and Piero kicks and punches at him for whatever reason. Abyss punches Park some more. Park punches back. Abyss gets in a knee lift. Park's mask is all ripped up. Whip, Park duck a clothesline an topes Jeff. Replay. Back in, and Park has Karen. Park's face is exposed but blurred. Park sets up for a DDT, but Jeff makes the save. No idea what happened to Abyss, but he returns to punch Park move. Shove to the ref. Piero shoves Jeff, Abyss chokeslams Piero. Back to exciting punches to the head. The doctor comes in to check on Piero. Dorian walks Hijo de Tirantes to the ring to take over, as Piero is carried away. Rudos all punch and kick Tirantes slowly. Joaquin jogs out with a chair. Rudos all back off from mighty Joaquin as he brings in his chair. Chair shot to Abyss is no sold. Abyss takes the chair and throws id won, then grabs Joaquin. This is a bad idea. Park breaks up the chokeslam before it can happen. Jeff grabs him, but Abyss hits him by mistake. Park gives Abyss an elbow driver, and has a discussion with him as he sits over all fours next to him. That move had some problems Karen shoves Park and slaps him. Park blocks the second, and kisses her. DDT teased again, but Hijo de Tirantes breaks it up. DDT for him instead. Abyss gets back up. Joaquin runs to the back. During an angle change, chairs are suddenly set up folded in the corner. Abyss was setting them up when they panned away, but he must've moved really quick. Abyss charges at Park, misses, and stops in front of the chairs. Park spears Abyss into the chairs, which are facing the wrong way and just kind of knock off the ropes. Pepe Casas is no longer in his ref gear, but out to count. Park gives Abyss a chair shot to the head and/or shoulder, covers, one two three.
Los Perros del Mal charge out and stomp LA Park. Clip in here. Rudos tape Park to a chair, put a sarpe on him, and then a sombrero on his head. Boos very obviously added in. Jarrett holds up tornillo as they all pose together. Wait, wasn't Perro just explaining his dislike of foreigners? I guess he got over that. This lasts about a minute.
