Match 1: Aereo, Pequeño Halcón, Último Dragoncito vs Pequeño Nitro, Pequeño Olímpico, Pequeño Universo 2000
Arena Mexico, 05/15/2012

  2. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 9:07
Rating: eh
Notes: Referee is Maya.

1: Pairs are Universo/Aereo, Olímpico/Dragoncito, Nitro/Halcon

Aereo has a new outfit, a little too late. Dragoncito has the painted Dragon on his chest again, and destroy Olímpico for the short time they're in. Halcón does a headscissors that comes in about mid waist. Nitro almost flips over the barricade after taking a headscissors out. Aereo pulls off the Sombra flip to the floor, and adds a run up the apron and the ropes armdrag. Other técnicos clean up. Halcón has no problems with the tapatía this time, and gets Olímpico up three times.

2: Aereo seems to be doing okay, then botches a run up the ropes bit into a casadora. Olímpico just lets him fall, slaps him, and shoves him out. Crowd boos quite a bit. Universo is a bit too slow to keep up with Dragoncito, but Dragoncito screams to kill some time. They don't last long. Nitro stops short on a corner charge, spins Halcón in the ropes, and pull him off into a backcracker. Olímpico spinebusters Aereo and kicks him out. Universo bets Dragoncito by moving out of the way of ac hop and slapping him to the outside. That's not much. Whip, Universo wheelbarrow faceslam. Other rudos in, Dragoncito whipped to the corner, Universo charges, Dragoncito moves, Universo hits the post. Olímpico charges, Dragoncito dodges him too, then runs Nitro in him. Casadora on Olímpico into a headscissors on Nitro. Olímpico misses a senton, and Dragoncito yells again. Olímpico stops Dragoncito with a back elbow, Halcón headscissors Olímpico, Nitro dropkicks Halcón, Aereo planchas Nitro, Nitro tosses Aero up an fouls him. That's rather blatant. Nitro counts his own pin, but that won't work. Maya stops Nitro to inform him off his illegal act, then raises Aereo's arm.

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 16:13
Rating: ?
Notes: Dragon Lee's stick is decorated, even if I don't know why it exists. Rey Cometa still can't get an entrance video. Virus has a new face mask, so I guess the old one broke for good. Dragon Lee tries to get in Virus' face because he's a goofball. Referee is Pompin.

1: Pairs are Virus/Sagrado, Okumura/Lee, Namajague/Cometa. Virus & Sagrado get some time on the mat. Dragon Lee is booed for existing. Standing shooting star press hilariously misses. You can't be off target from that close, but you can start from the wrong place. Lee is entirely showcases, which just gets him more booed. Cometa has no idea what to make of the Japanese demon, but Namajague slaps him and they work it out from there. Namajague takes a monkey flip to the floor, which impresses Rey Bucanero (who has done that one or twice.) In the ensuing fray, Dragon Lee screws up a flying springboard headscissors on Okumura (screwing up the springboard) then seems to blow a casadora bit with virus. Virus just boots him out to get on with it. Sagrado ducks under Virus attacks straight in a tope on Okumura, while Dragon Lee kicks Virus down and Cometa adds the 450 splash. Dragon Lee submits Namajague to end it.

2: Dragon Lee and Virus talk trash to each other then chop each other. Dragon Lee blocks and fires back with kicks to the back of the leg and the chest. Pose for boos. Flipping run, dropkick misses, and Virus kicks him right in the head. Virus celebrates. Lee thrown into the corner and boot choked. Corner whip, Dragon Lee walks up the ropes, flips off the corner, and comes back with a back spin headscissors to send Virus to the ramp. Dragon Lee poses to boos. I need to make that a macro. Sagrado gets his usual offense on Okumura. Virus cheap kicks Cometa from the outside on a whip. Namajague gives Cometa big slam, then throws him into the rudo corner band brings in Virus. Virus kicks Cometa in the rings, then picks him up and powerbombs him. One count! Virus grabs comet and brings in Okumura, who punches Cometa and DDTs him for a one count. Cometa pops up and makes a desperate tag to Dragon Lee. Okumura punches and chops him, then leaves him on the mat for the Namajague slingshot senton. Dragon Lee gets his knees up, though Dragon Lee is really not supposed to get his knees up here. Namajague goes long as result, sits up a bit surprised, then stomps Dragon Lee a bunch. Namajague stops to goofily grab his lower back in pain. More stomps! Whip, back elbow, Namajague walks around grabbing his elbow back some more. Sagrado gets better of a one on one with Namajague, so Virus come to his rescue with chops. Corner charges on Sagrado, then Okumura hangs him upside down with a dropkick while Namajague takes the ref. Okumura covers for three.

3: Dragon Lee is laying on the ramp for some reason. Maybe he just got tired, wanted to take a nap. Rudos are busy beating up Cometa, assaulting him their corner then dropkicking him out. Oh, Dragon Lee, you're just going to loiter on the ramp conspicuously until it's time to do your spot, aren't you? No, he's limping down to the floor while the rudos work over Sagrado with basic stuff. Virus does the Amapola running sit on Sagrado, but gets a very slow two count. Cradle gets two. Sagrado gets a Fujiwara from nowhere, but he's not Panther so that doesn't work. Namajague pulls him off and swats him in the head. Sagrado manages to stumble back to his corner to tag – uh, no one's there. Dragon Lee hops on the apron a bit late, and misses a dropkick on Namajague. Namajague smacks him in the chest with a side kick. Double chop, double boot sends Dragon Lee back to the ramp. Virus scoops Dragon Lee and slams him there. Now he's going to wait. Rudos work over Cometa some more, booting him out the other way. Pompin telling the rudos to pick it up here. Sagrado misses a dropkick, then gets whipped the other way. Virus miss the charge, Namajague misses the charge, Sagrado superkicks Okumura. Namajagur kicks Okumura, Cometa flying armdrag on Namajague, Virus kicks him, Dragon Lee with the step up headscissors back in. Cometa out one way with the tornillo, Dragon Lee out the other way with a tope con giro. Dragon Lee picked an odd time to run, almost screwed up Cometa’s timing. Sagrado kicks Okumura down in front of the corner and comes in with a plancha. Scoop, slam, springboard moonsault, one two three. Pompin is counting so slow this fall.

Match 3: Blue Panther, Máximo, Valiente vs Averno ©, Felino, Niebla Roja

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 12:21
Rating: good
Notes: Niebla Roja wears a Santos Laguneros jersey. You know, Averno's going to leave the week after they finally get around to giving him an updated entrance video. That's the way it has to work. It may be the hold up! Edecanes can not dance to his music, and Averno makes sure it plays for a long time. Ref is Maya.

1: Blue Panther puts Niebla Roja thru his paces on the mat. Niebla Roja doesn't look totally out of place, until he messes up a bow and arrow. Panther put on an ankle lock, and the other rudos break it up with kicks. They leave, but Roja is slow following up. He tries various of the surfboard until Panther has had enough of that, and just pulls him into an arm scissoros. Roja tries to speed things up, and almost gets a sunset flip reversed into a Máximo kiss. Roja holds up, but Máximo comes in with an armdrag anyway. Felino rolls thru on a sunset flip and kicks Máximo in the chest. Máximo comes back with a spinning armdrag on him. Averno boots Máximo down, but Valiente gets him with a plancha. Valiente 'rana, one two NO. Valiente springboard tope connects, but the rudos rush to break it up. Triple powerbomb on Valiente to take care of him.

Panther rushes in, shoulderblocking out, but Averno kicks him out in turn. Máximo slips in, and jumping kicks Niebla Roja out. That was awkward. Headscissors on Averno. Averno has everything blocked, Máximo kiss, cradle one two three! Averno managed to lose a fall they had won.

2: Valiente and Niebla Roja avoid, with Valiente working a neat headstand, and then a big backdrop on Niebla Roja. Springboard dropkicks sends the rudo out Felino gets Valiente with the fast clothesline/dropkick deal, then strips off his vest. Máximo corners him, but Felino fights free. Máximo still lands the springboard butt bump and headscissors Felino out. Averno smacks Máximo, then punches Panther for coming in. Averno pulls down Máximo’s strap, corner whip, Panther flips his partner to safety, Averno puts Panther on the top rope, Panther kicks him away and headscissors him out, Valiente follows with a quebrada. Back inside, Felino knocks down Panther, and Niebla Roja hurries over for his inverted Indian deathlock cradle. Panther is trapped, pinned for three, and that's the fall.

3: Rudos kick around Valiente and go for his mask. Niebla Roja is doing the former when Averno pulls Valiente away from him, but it's for Niebla benefit. Averno does the flapjack, Niebla Roja gets in his kick. Rudos time a Valiente kip up escape perfectly, Felino playing him out with a clothesline. Unfortunately, Felino is down grabbing his shoulder after. Felino is down for a while. Panther checks on him, then Averno poses and tries to distract the crowd. Felino can't even roll out. Other rudos slap Panther, then double back elbow him out. Roja & Averno kick around Máximo, Roja getting a two count off a seated dropkick. Felino's rolled to the ramp, and is just starting to get up after about a minute. No doctor. Boots send Máximo out. Niebla confers with Felino as Averno is left alone with Valiente. Valiente gives Averno a big quebradora, and the rudos hold him or a Máximo kiss, but Niebla just kicks Máximo in the face to stop that. Everyone's clears out but Felino and Panther. Felino misses a dropkick, Valiente runs in to shoulderblock Felino out. Roja miss a dropkick on Panther, Panther shoulderblocks him out. Valiente urns, and demolishes poor Niebla Roja with a tope. Máximo planchas Felino, which I'm sure he much preferred to take at that moment. Captains in, looking at the crowd. Averno jumps on Panther’s shoulders, Panther dumps him on the mat, tapatía! Averno gives right away.

Match 4: Marco Corleone, Máscara Dorada © , Rush vs Psicosis, Rey Bucanero, Terrible ©

  2. rudos

  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 10:30
Rating: ok
Notes: Rush really likes his new bull mask. Mije is with Psicosis. They cut off Psicosis' music before he gets to the ring, but of course he's not getting to the ring when Dorada dives out of the ring on him. That puts Dorada in between Psicosis and the other rudos. Terrible and Bucanero take care of that. Tirantes is ref.

1: Marco comes over to help (via leapfrog), but TR duck his clothesline and chop him out. Meanwhile, Dorada sends Psicosis to the floor and follows with a moonsault. Rush knocks down Terrible, Bucanero knocks down Rush, Bucanero taunt, Aero Italiano on him. Tirantes takes so long getting down to count that Marco gets up at two (Tirantes still counts three.)

2: Psicosis tries to run from Dorada, but Dorada brings him back in for a chop fight, gives him a quebradora, and rips up his mask. One more quebradora, but Dorada gets drawn to the rudo corner, and they hold him for a Psicosis shot to the back. Rudos toss Dorada to the ramp. Rush fights all three, but Bucanero stops with the slingshot frontcracker, and Terrible finishes him off. Marco takes Tormenta Bucanera and his rolling senton. An angry Psicosis attacks Dorada on the outside between falls.

3: Mije gets in his middle rope splash on Dorada. Psicosis covers, only gets 2. Powerbomb, 2. Psicosis misses a corner charge, Dorada hiptoss him, flipping run, springboard – into Psicosis’ dropkick! Psicosis goes to rip up Dorada’s mask, though Tirantes argues with him a bit. I bet Tirantes suggests he should actually pin him. Psicosis headbutts Dorada out and sends him into the apron. Back in. Psicosis snap suplex, 2 count. Whip, reversed, and Dorada dropkicks Psicosis out. Desperation tag to Rush. Bucanero comes in to try and stop Dorada much too late. Rush has to pose a bit before he can fight. Neither man will go down. Rush rips up Bucanero’s shirt, chops him, takes chops, and headbutts Bucanero down. Rush calls Terrible in, and Terrible's not scared. Terrible misses on a chop, and Rush takes over with a slap to the face and a kick to the chest. Rush corner charges into a boot, but Terrible charges out into a belly to belly suplex. Rush poses, and Marco tags himself in. Those two have their usual flinch fight and dance fest. Marco and Terrible have one not so good armdrag, one better one, and one invisible one when Terrible pulls up and kicks Marco in the ribs. Marco punches Bucanero in head over and over as Terrible hits him, annoying Rey a lot. Marco does missile a corner splash and gets tuck on the top rope, leaving him open for flying running axhandles and kicks. Terrible backdrop Rey into a pescado on Marco, then Rush dropkicks Terrible out the other way and rolls over him on a tope con giro. Feuding duo back in, Psicosis clothesline misses, Dorada Sling blade one two NO. Dorad's hair is leaking out from the top of his mask. Corner whip, reversed, Psicosis tossed to the apron but knocking Dorada back. Psicosis up top, Dorada joins him, super armdrag one two NO. Mije argues the corner. Corner whip, Dorada kip up, Psicosis catches him, layout front cracker one two three.

Terrible makes sure Rush knows he just lost. A great man. Psicosis says this proved he's better than Mascara Dorada and, since he is, he wants a title match. Dorada accepts for next week, but wants a mask vs mask after. Psicosis immediately bails.
