Arena Mexico, 05/11/12
Winner: Niebla Roja
Match Time: 7:49
Rating: ok
Notes: Referee is Bestia Negra.
Niebla unimpressed by brief small Triton chant. A couple minutes of basic mat wrestling to start. Triton turns a whip into an opportunity to hope up the ropes, and comes down with a headscissors. Niebla Roja out, Triton runs, Triton slides out as Roja slides in. Roja runs for a dive, but Triton cuts him off with a kick off the apron. Triton turnbuckle smash is blocked, and Niebla Roja goes out. Combo time – ring post sliced bread, sliding dropkick to the floor, and chest first toss into the barricade. That last bit still doesn't look quite right, but it looked more natural here. Triton back in, Niebla snap mare and dropkick him for a two count. Flapjack kick for two. Someone is quite obviously filming the judges, though not for anything we've seen here. Lots of mysteries in this tournament. Five minutes.

Niebla Roja with the triangular del solar, which is treated as a pinning move here, and Triton can't get free before three. Roja holds his left arm in post match.
Máximo and Miguel say their usual things. Negro wants Niebla to get the fans more emotional by being more violent. Tirantes says Niebla is a good luchador, but he's not seeing an idol. Scores are Miguel 7, Máximo 7, Negro 4, Tirantes 5.

Euforia backs up, runs, stops, Dragon Lee tries a springboard and turns into a sunset flip for two. Dragon Lee shoulderblock, springboard casadora shoved off, and into the Nirvana lock. Dragon Lee is done, but Euforia won't let go, and stats elbow smashes him. Count is on, so Euforia lets go – but the referee gives Dragon Lee the win anyway. Huh.
