Match 1: Metatrón & Tigre Blanco vs Artillero & Súper Comando
Arena Mexico, 03/13/2012
técnicos
Winner: técnicos
Match Time: 17:50
Rating: eh
Notes: Referee is Terror Chino.
1: Relays are Metatron & Artillero and Super Comando & Tigre Blanco, and are basic opening stuff. Artillero get the advantage on Metatron with some help from this brother the second time thru, but Metatron turns a clothesline into a armbar/armscissors to end him. Super Comando does put up a fight, but goes down soon after.
2: Metatron with more basic offense on Artillero. Comando's the more excitable man of his team, wildly stomping Blanco and yelling at the crowd. Blanco takes her of him with a headstand headscissors, a casadora armdrag, and a roll over the ropes into a headscissors on the floor. Rudos casually just start double teaming the técnicos, first getting shots from the apron and then just working together in the ring. Double backdrop for Metatron. Double team spot on Tiger Blanco does not work, so they do a double suplex and some sentons instead.
3: Rudos still in charge. Double dropkick for Blanco. Same spot on Metatron backfires, Blanco pulling out Artillero while Metatron quebradoras Comando. Técnicos brawl, no dives. Some slow near falls and outside men are breaking up the holds to switch people in and out. Metatron finally planchas both rudos, and técnicos lean up from there.

Match Time: 24:54
Rating: good
Notes: Battle royal eliminations are Disturbio, Hombre Bala Jr., Raziel, and Triton, who decides to walk the ropes in a battle royal. This is not his smartest move. That leaves the opposition as Robin, Bronco, Hijo del Signo and Super Halcon Jr. Poor Signo, he got stuck in the bad group.
Raziel and Robin start, with Raziel feeding himself will into all of Robin's offense. Raziel takes a dropkick out. Signo tells Robin to leave, he's in to face Triton. Signo slowly armdrags Triton around, Triton sort of dropkicks him in the ankle (or maybe a really bad drop toe hold) to stop that. Triton tries his own slow armdrag until Signo puts a stop to that. Shoulderblock for a two count, armdrag, Triton rolls out, and Signo whips his hands. Bala and Halcón in. They do acknowledge their partnership before starting with the chain wrestling and the 50/50 armdragging. Stereo dropkick and a handshake ends it. Disturbio and Bronco, themselves sometimes partners, are the last pair in, and don’t last long before Bronco's armdragged out. Bronco's out on the wrong side, but the other team just kind of backs him off rather than take the big man on. Bronco fixes his pants many times, walks up the steps, and comes back in. Armdrags back and forth, roll, faceoff, shake and hug! Crowd does not approve.
Signo and Triton in, though of course Triton has to springboard and backflip in. Triton gets in an flipping run and catches Signo with a clothesline. Run up the ropes, walk, stop on the second rope, hop back to the top rope, drop to the apron, slap for Signo, and springboard tornillo in. I don't think Triton knew exactly what hew as doing there. Double springboard headscissors sends Signo out. Robin in, and Triton just slaps him. Robin slaps back not as hard. Triton drops his straps before striking back. Robin hits Triton, Triton seeps him. Off the rope evasion, Triton flipping over Robin's back, then springboarding off the middle rope for a headscissors. Triton is trying to out due Bronco with pants adjustments. Robin flips Triton to the apron and swing kicks him out. Disturbio rushes in and drops Robin with a back elbow. Stomps. Robin kips up multiple times, spins, Disturbio tells him off, and Robin comes off the ropes with a headscissors. Disturbio clothesline misses, Robin heel kick does not. Robin up top, far away, barely keeping his balance – but walking the ropes for a tope con giro onto Triton! That was unexpected. Halcón in, under a clothesline, back again to dropkick Disturbio. Bala in, but Halcón awkwardly back elbows him. Whip, screwy missed clothesline spot, Bala catches Halcón with a dropkick to the knee, running neck snap. Bala stands Halcón up and chops him in the corner. Raziel helps hold him. Corner whip, reversed, Bala leaps up over Halcón a bit to late, then dropkick him back down in the corner. This is looking like opening match lucha. Running diving tope to the chest is at least musing. Bronco rushes in and hammers Bala with a clothesline. Running knee. Running kick to the face, and Bala is out. Raziel in, Bronco whips him, Raziel, over, under, Bronco waved into the ropes, flipping over Raziel's back, casadora armdrag sends Raziel – into a cartwheel, and he drops Bronco with a clothesline. They flash the lineups on the screen – they're not correct, of course. Raziel slaps Bronco into the ropes. Whip, Bronco sunset flip, Raziel pulls thru, dropkick to the face. Raziel screams. Off the ropes, tossed up in the air, and Bronco slaps him down. Bronco off the ropes, charging into Raziel's dropkick to the knee, which flips Bronco the floor. Disturbio takes out his friend with a tope con giro off the apron. Signo win with a flying sunset flip on Raziel, but Raziel rolls thru and Bala lands a top rope plancha for one. Bala grabs Signo, Raziel rushes into kick him, Signo moves and Bala kicks out. Neither of the rudos are all that upset about it. Raziel dumps Signo out, while Halcón comes in for a spinning armdrag to send Raziel out. Bala off the ramp – running tope to Signo, while Halcón comes off the top with a tornillo on Raziel) or in his general direction. Robin and Disturbio in. Both off the ropes, Robin flips Disturbio with a clothesline, dropkick to the head. One two NO. Robin slaps Disturbio into the corner. Corner charge, no one home, Disturbio grabs Robin in a hammerlock, picks him up and drops him in a side backbreaker. Robin shakes as Disturbio covers him, one two three.
Signo in, clothesline misses. Disturbio chops him. Corner whip, Disturbio corner clothesline, trip in the corner, back up, charge, Running double knee to the chest. Disturbio backs up a little father, and does it again. Cover one two Signo easily has the ropes. That's the problem with a corner move right here. Whip, clothesline misses, Signo clothesline misses, Disturbio slide out, Signo after him with a huge tope, knocking them both over. Bronco in, but Triton on him with a springboard armdrag. Bronco flips Triton to the apron, swings, gets slapped away, and Triton comes back in with a springboard headscissors. Triton all fired up. Crowd boos, but Triton runs – walk up the ropes top rope Asia moonsault looks great. Halcón goes for a dive, but Bala cuts him off with a tope rope plancha, one two no. Halcón trips Bala into the ropes, running backcracker. Halcón covers one two NO. Whip, Halcón sit down flapjack. Off the ropes, Bala flips him all the way to the floor. Signo right into Bala with a clothesline. One two NO. Signo chops Bala back into the corner. Corner whip, reversed, Bala charges, Signo flips him to the apron, Bala knocks Signo down, rope flip moonsault, one two NO. Bala whip, drop kick, camel clutch cradle, one two NO. Whip spot seems to get messed up, and Signo just pulls out a sunset flip one two NO. Crowd not really into this, but it hasn't been that bad. Chops. Corner whip, reversed, Bala charges, Signo lifts him up, big spinebuster, standing leglock, and Bala gives.
Raziel in, standing fireman’s carry for Signo and a dropkick to the face. Signo rolls out, and Halcón runs in. Floataround DDT, and superkick sends Raziel out. Triton and kicks Halcon out. Bronco in. Triton charges, flips out of a quebradora, ducks a clothesline, and runs back into a quebradora for real this time. Bronco drops him with a second. Scoop, slam. Bronco fired up, and going up. Top rope splash – misses, Triton rolls out of the way. Triton lifts Bronco over his shoulders and walks him back towards the corner. Fireman's drop, up top, tornillo moonsault one two three.
Halcon's already on the top rope before the three count, and so easily missile dropkicks Triton. Disturbio does the same to Halcón, one two NO. Disturbio complains about the count. Running stomp for the back of Halcon's head. Halcon sidesteps a corner charge, kicks Disturbio in, then holds him over the top rope for a sloppy looking hanging spinning DDT. That's it.
Down to Raziel & Triton versus Signo & Halcón. Triton missile dropkicks Halcón out. Signo in, under a clothesline, and flipping Triton with a spinning dropkick to the knee. Raziel gets Signo with a springboard wheel kick and yells. Raziel leans over near the ropes, and Triton boots of his rope into a tope con giro on Signo. Raziel charges Halcón, who throws him face first into the corner rope. Raziel clothesline caught, and Halcón drops him in the corner. Halcón points there, top rope moonsault one two NO. Halcón stomps Raziel heads up again, moonsault misses, Halcón rolls thru, Raziel dropkick to the knee, casita, Halcón rolls thru, Halcón off the ropes up – and over – no, Raziel shoves him off, Raziel casadora into an inverted figure four. Halcón won't give, but Raziel isn't done – he turns it all the way into a tapatía (with a slightly different leg lock.) Halcón gives up there.
Raziel celebrates and has a moment too, because Signo is slow to turn up. Raziel clothesline him as he comes in. corner whip, reversed, Signo charge in, Raziel sets him on the top rope, though with a bit of effort to get straight him up. Raziel steps up behind him, but Signo back elbows him away. Signo turns around, and leaps off with a plancha. One two no. Signo off the ropes, into a Raziel flapjack one two NO. Or is it? Well, it's clearly two, Signo kicks out and the referee pulls up while counting three, but then the referee says something to Raziel, and waves his hands as if Signo's been eliminated. Raziel is baffled and puts his hands up while the ref rolls Signo out. The referee must've decided Signo did not kickout to his satisfaction, but it was very obvious that he did kickout. Just a referee screw up.
Triton comes in, while Raziel is still very confused. They're on the same team, but they're the only two left. Raziel back elbows Triton while he's looking at the crowd and stomps him down. Corner whip, Triton springboard reversed plancha, one two no. Raziel trips Triton on the ropes, but Triton moves out of the way of the Amapola-style running sit. Arena Mexico, 03/13/2012
técnicos
Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 15:00
Rating: ok
Notes: Referee is Tiger Hispano.
1: Pairs are Okumura/Fuego, Namajague/Sangre and Porky/Misterioso. First two stick to the mat. Misterioso bullies Porky around, Porky gets in one stomach shot to run Misterioso in the corner, and Okumura surprises him with a clothesline. This leads to everyone coming in, and the rudos all whipped into the same corner. Namajague ends up last, and Porky belly bumps them all down to set up the big sit. Brazo de Plata orders his teammates to do it themselves! Fuego atheistically does it first, and Sangre needs some convincing. Porky is last, then rudos stumble out into finishes.
2: Fuego and Okumura start, and after Fuego breaks out his dance, Okumura clotheslines him and does the dance instead. A good fourth of Okumura’s moves are mocking someone else’s dance. Fuego still sends him out with a springboard dropkick. Misterioso beats his old friend Sangre with slaps, only for Sangre to come back with armdrags and headscissors like a good técnico. Porky and Namajague go face to face, and try to the sumo. This goes baldy for Namajague. Namajague clothesline him the second time, and the rudos stomp Porky down. técnicos
Winner: técnicos
Match Time: 11:50

Notes: Angel de Oro's gold robe is really shinny. Psicosis does not have Mije with him, which would seem to cut his powers in half. Also, he charges Mascara and takes a quebradora. Mascara chops and stomps him. Volador and Olímpico are nice enough to hurry and try to make the save. Olímpico fights Marco with his beret and scarf still on. They actually left the microphone on long enough for us to hear one of the captains, what a nice treat. Ref is Maya.
1: Rudos get control, and Mascara's mask is ripped up. Announcers note these guys used to be the trios champs. Corner clothesline for Marco, and he's held for a Psicosis senton. No pin. Olímpico and Volador combined for a neckbreaker/inverted crucifix bomb. Psicosis stomps down Mascara. Psicosis slips in a headscissors on Psicosis, ducks a double clothesline en route for a dive, doesn’t dive because Psi isn't the ready, and does pescado instead. Técnicos win with holds. Marco keeps adding new submissions – this
2: Olímpico tries a sunset flip on Marco. That remains a poor idea. Volador breaks that up with a superkick, and Olímpico does the dance. Lots of mocking dance going on tonight. Marco flip Volador to the apron, stone punches him, clotheslines the other two, pulls Volador back up, and stones punches him again. Marco up top – plancha on both! Marco poses to thunderous boos. Angel de Oro flips around to evade Volador, and lays him out with a superkick. Olímpico stomps down Angel de Oro, but Oro flips to the apron, kicks Olímpico down, and lands the outside in moonsault. Armdrag and quebradora ends him. Psicosis in, so Mascara in. Máscara miss a clothesline and gets stomped down, but quebradoras Psicosis and goes after his mask. Marco looks back and forth for someone, then gets tripped and pulled out by Psicosis. Olímpico in him with a pescado, Angel de Oro out the other way with his usual dive. Psicosis and Mascara in, much to Psicosis' dismay. Máscara off the ropes, under, casadora, into the campana, - no, Psicosis squirms away. Superkick sends Psicosis into the ref, and down goes the ref, Psicosis yanks Mascara's mask, Máscara falls on him, Psicosis rolls over on top and celebrates the win.
Mascara's handed a new mask so he can stand up and challenge Psicosis.
