Match 1: Diamante, Fuego, Stuka Jr. © vs Cancerbero, Raziel, Tiger ©
Arena Mexico, 12/02/2011
rudos
Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 12:52
Rating: good
Notes: Referee is Terror Chino.
1: Pairs are Fuego/Raziel, Stuka/Cancerbero, and then that's that.
Fuego and Raziel spend a lot of time on the mat, ending with Fuego headstanding out of a headscissors. Stuka sends the big man out with a dropkick to the knee, Raziel jumps in, cartwheels only of a monkey flip and hiptosses Stuka over. Springboard dropkick is well done, and Stuka gets on out. Fuego back in with a springboard plancha for two. Did a Diamante/Tigre sequence just get cut out?. Fuego springboard flip doesn't touch Raziel, not that it was supposed to, and Fuego sends him out with a headscissors. Tiger in – Leo immediately calls him Tiger Kid, way to stay up to date – and he lands the dropkick to the backside. Diamante in and flipping – four bounce twisting armdrag to send Tiger out, Tiger handspring off the apron to chase, Tiger flips him up on the apron and lands a kick to the midsection. Tiger back in – back out with a slingshots tope con giro. Rudos kick Stuka back into his corner – TWITTER plug! - Stuka kicks back, rolls over the top for the two, Fuego plancha is caught, and rudos get great submissions for the win. Tiger celebrates off in the background, perhaps over having such great partners. Tiger takes off his shirt between falls – I don’t think that's when you're supposed to do it. Having a shirt is new to him, he'll get used to it.

2: Rudos still in control. Tiger watches as the other two pull of a catapult/bulldog combo. You just want to help the Raziel & Cancerbero buzzsaw when you can, and just stay out of the way the rest of the time. Diamante takes Tiger down, but Cancerbero makes the save. Everyone takes turns slapping him around, then Tiger breaks out a new four kick combo – three kicks to the chest, then a sharp heel kick. Stuka also gets in a shot on Tiger before the other rudos help out. Stuka held for chops, though he still manages to kick at Tiger. Back elbow for him. Choke for Stuka. Big set up for a dropkick on Fuego. Tiger holds Diamante, but his partners chop him out of the ring, Diamante chases, and quebradora con giros him on the apron. Rudos toss themselves out, and the técnicos are on them with dives. Stuka does the Stuka dive, but Fuego's latest crazy idea is to sort of push off the ring post with his hands for a tope con giro. Diamante swings kicks Tiger down, tie game.
3: Fuego quebradora con giro on Cancerbero, as the other guys brawl a bit around the ring. Stuka gets Tiger with a quebradora as well, and all six are in the ring to slowly fight. Rudos whipped into each other, técnicos cradles one two NO. Tigre tripped up, and Diamante is backdropped into a running 450 on him. That was fun. Cancerbero and Raziel make the save. Rudos send out everyone but Diamante, and chop, clothesline and back elbow him around. Tiger is very kick based luchador today. Rudos cover, Fuego and Stuka sunset flip the Cancerberos, Everyone kicks out at two. Rudos clear out everyone but Diamante again, and Tiger nails Diamante with a hard dropkick to the chest. Rudos hold Diamante in a submission for more, but Stuka pulls Tiger out, and Fuego springboard dropkick the other two. Big set up to Diamante being flipped over the ropes into a moonsault on the floor on Tiger. Fuego catapult holds Raziel, Stuka goes up, looks around a bit, and lands the torpedo splash. One two three. Flashina on Cancerbero and we're done here.

Match 2: Jushin Lyger ©, Máscara Dorada, Rush vs Averno, Ephesto, Último Guerrero ©
Arena Mexico, 12/02/2011
técnicos
Winner: técnicos (2-0)
Match Time: 8:03
Rating: okay as a setup
Notes: Entrances. Which means this must not be much of a match. Or someone's getting attacked. CMLL's put in more effort on Mascara Dorada's music this year than they have in the entirety of booking. Though maybe both have met the same level of success. Guerreros come out together. Avernos enter vaguely together, though Ephesto is about 30 paces ahead of Averno. Averno goes at Averno speed, and that is a slow walking speed nowadays. Need time to arrogantly look around and smirk. Lyger rushes Guerrero, and we're off. Referee is Babe Richard.
1: Ultimo Guerrero gets the better of the fight right away, batting Lyger back to the ring. Everyone else watches for a bit, then starts fighting too. Brawling all around. Ring is cleared out for corner charges on Rush, and the senton de la muerte. Lyger is held on his knees for a Guerrero kick to the face. Spinebusters and flapjacks for Dorada. Crowd yells for the rudos, and Averno yells back. Lyger ducks a clothesline, UG gets it instead, Ephesto kicks him out, Rush blows him up with a missile dropkick, Rush starts to get up, Rush lays back down, Averno tells him to get up, Rush gets up, Averno kicks him, Dorada flies in with the floating armdrag. UG shoulders Dorado down, but Lyger snap mares him and goes for the mask. Babe Richard tries to interceded, but Lyger pays him no mind. Mask is pretty well ripped – surprised they're not blurring Guerrero's face out this week. Lyger lets go and back off to the corner, UG charges and take the knee bump out, Lyger tope con giro - actually comes up short, or UG was supposed to catch him and he just dropped him instead . UG treats it like a miss, standing up Lyger and posting him. Meanwhile, the técnicos clean up in the ring – big back suplex gets up Rush's senton, and Dorada finishes Averno on his own.
2: Lyger and UG back in, Lyger going after the mask again. He's told to let go, so he kicks and chops UG down, and goes for the mask again. UG chopped out of the ring. Lyger kicks UG down as the fans do the rudo chant. Into the announce desk? No, into the post. Dorada & Averno in. Averno wants Rush instead. I have no idea why, but Averno is all fired up – to tag to Ephesto. I see we're taking this seriously. Rush goes out to the apron to spit at Averno, and Averno decides he's offended enough to come back in. Whip, Rush back with a headscissors. Averno off the ropes, into a belly to belly. He sits and screams in pain, waiting for Rush to connect on him a dropkick. UG in, so rush gets out and Lyger gets in. Lyger kicks Guerrero and tosses his out. UG into the post. Lyger really seems limited of late. This time, Lyger sends UG into the announce desk. Ephesto in, and blowing up Dorada with a shoulderblock. Dorada comes back with a push off headscissors, ending Ephesto out. Averno in. Averno dropkick misses, Dorada backdrop lands Dorada on the ropes, he flips him, and gets in a crazy spinning headscissors into armdrag to send Averno out. UG in, so Dorada rushes out and Lyger comes in. Shake them ropes! Stomp the feet! UG clothesline misses, Lyger quebradora con giro. Lyger sets up – SHOTAY! Ultimo Guerrero takes the greatest bump off this, nearly landing on my head. I take it all back. Lyger sets up for another – no, UG gets him with a kick. UG snap mare and goes for the mask. Babe Richard warns him, UG lets go, and Lyger headscissors them both out. Other técnicos send the other rudos out – stereo tope con giros. Dorada is cool enough to land on his feet. Lyger and Ultimo Guerrero in, Lyger clothesline misses, UG lifts him up for a powerbomb, then drops him and foul uppercuts him on the way down.
Guerrero gives a token effort to argue. Lyger challenges Guerrero to a singles match. Guerrero's face is blurred out here – maybe too much of a zoom. Guerrero accepts in usual fashion.
