Announcers are JCR, JCC and Bucanero.
Match 1: Estrellita vs Tiffany in a lightning match
Arena Mexico, 11/25/2011
Winner: no one!
Match Time: 7:06
Rating: ouch
Notes: Estrellita has – posters of Estrellita? - that she throws to the crowd. Tiffany has a gigantic cape. There is no one here. Ref is Maya, he is here. Ring announcer calls Maya “Casanova del Ciberspacio”, which gets Maya to yell at him.
Both wave for reactions. Slap fight. Mat wrestling to prove they can do it. Proof is iffy. Estrellita seems more into that section than Tiffany, who's fine with hair pulling to get out of holds. Tiffany does start to get the better of it, throwing Estrellita around with armdrags. Snap mare, Estrellita kips up and armdrags Tiffany out. Estrellita teas a dive, then steps out to he apron for a silla. Estrellita is very excited by her own dive. Tiffany takes back over in the ring while we're seeing replays. Tiffany hits Estrellita between the legs, and Estrellita tries to draw a low blow foul. That does not work. Tiffany throws her down by the hair and adds a dropkick. Kick to the face, and a choke with a knee. Whip, reversed, Estrellita puts her head down too soon, feeding herself to a Tiffany faceslam. Tiffany stomps Estrellita, then mockingly starts the Estrellita chant. It does not catch on. Crowd not that into it. Whip, short powerbomb. Tiffany with a relaxed cover, one two Estrellita pulled up. Tiffany tries the chant again, still not working. Another low blow kick. Tiffany is very proud of herself every time. Boot choke. Corner whip, reversed, Tiffany sits on the top rope, Estrellita slaps her (or in her general direction), they barely on the ropes, Estrellita 'rana is not the best of ideas but they both survive. Tiffany nearly got spiked, but kicks out at two and is the first one up. Chinlock? Tiffany yanks around Estrellita by the hair. Estrellita stands up, but is now limping. They didn't show a replay, but the announcers mention Tiffany landed on Estrellita's leg on the way down from the 'rana Estrellita somehow manage the headscissors, but is having trouble running. Estrellita shouldn’t try this, but does so anyway – run to the corner, up the ropes, takes a couple tiny steps shuffling across the ropes, tornillo off – completely misses, Tiffany getting an arm on her but not stopping the fall. I'm not sure the injury played a part in that, Tiffany just seemed to be expecting Estrellita to go a lot more to the side the then I would've figured. Doctor is over to check Estrellita. Replay of the dive. She's in a lot of pain – her shoulder landed first. Tiffany crawls back in, then goes on to stomp Estrellita. Tiffany wants to bring in Estrellita, Estrellita can barely stand -and Maya rules it a draw? I guess Tiffany went back out to get that finish, because she only puts up a token argument. Tiffany goes back out to choke Estrellita, putting her hair in front of both of their faces (this part a bit obvious.) Tiffany stomps Estrellita as the stretcher people finally arrive. Like with all injuries, the other person has to be pulled away to stop attacking. The guys with the stretcher run to prevent Tiffany from catching up.
Match 2: Ángel de Oro, Máscara Dorada ©, Valiente vs Mr. Águila, Olímpico, Psicosis ©
Arena Mexico, 11/25/2011
rudos
Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 9:59
Rating: good, especially given the time
Notes: Monito is with the técnicos. Why does Olímpico make belt motions? Why does Olímpico do anything. Olímpico's entrance video includes scenes of Olímpico lifting weights. Psicosis STILL can't get an entrance video, but he has a cool ring coat. You take what you can get. He seems to be in a good mood. Referee is Maya.
1: Pairs are Valiente/Psicosis.
JCC wants us to call him Mr. Valiente since he won the bodybuilding contest. What bodybuilding contest did Mr. Niebla win? One sponsored by Corona? Valiente quickly sheds Psicosis, but Olímpico is on him with a springboard plancha and kicks him out. Dorada gets Olímpico with a springboard armdrag, a normal one, and a quebradora con giro. Dropkick gets rid of the dancing guy. Aguila slides out Dorada on his chest. Oro in, avoiding a clothesline and headscissoring him out. Outside in moonsault connects well. Other four in, técnicos – get reversed into rudo hold. Oops. Rudos do more damage to the técnicos after the fall than during it, including giving Monito a gutbuster.
2: Monito is strechered out, with the rudos hitting them the whole way. They're very proud, celebrating on the ramp. Rudos swarm Dorada and kick him around while the others are kept out. Corner charges for Dorada, rolling back elbows and boosted leg lariats. Swinging gate bomb on Angel de Oro. Valiente slapped hard, tripped up, triple kick spot is hilariously mistimed. It was going well, anyway. Swinging gate bomb on Valiente fails, Oro yanks Aguila out before he can run thru, and Dorada dropkicks the other two from behind. All the técnicos in, all of them running – cascading topes! They were all going at different times, but that's so different that it actually makes it stick out more. Everyone gets up slowly, and realizes they're all about to be counted out. One by one they knock each other down, thought the camera misses most of it. Valiente posts Aguila, Olímpico boots Valiente, Dorada gets Olímpico with a flying forearm, and jumps on the apron, Aguila tries to pull him back, but Dorada springboards over him and front flips into the ring to just beat the count. That was an exciting countout, how is that possible? Aguila argues from outside the ring. That gets him nowhere, so Aguila takes his issue directly to the camera. That also is less than effective. Técnicos celebrate, then rush back out to get the Invasors, who are now hiding among the crowd. Aguila, who's sitting right next to the commissioner (still arguing), gets booted right in the face.
3: Dorada flips around, Olímpico clotheslines him. Chop, whip, reversed, Dorada armdrag, charge, flipped to the apron, slapping Olímpico back from there. Olímpico backs all the way out, Dorada charges in – high springboard armdrag. Olímpico goes hide in a lap while Dorada flips around. Announcers talk about great flying wrestlers of the past. Angel de Oro and Mr. Aguila in, dueling flipping run (“tumbling”) and Aguila lands the jumping heel kick. Oro flips himself to the apron, catches Aguila with a superkick , and lands the outside in moonsault for two. Oro bends under another jumping heel kick, and headscissors Aguila right out. Roll to the apron, slingshot roll back in. Valiente in and hopping to take on Psicosis. Psicosis dropkicks him right away. Shot to the chest. Whip, over, under, back with a headscissors. Cometa fired up. Run up the ropes armdrag, and Psicosis slides out of there. Valiente runs up the ropes just to do a flip, and just hangs on to the landing. Valiente is celebrating with Olímpico gets him with a dropkick. Angel de Oro splash - miss, Olímpico rolling. Psicosis senton misses, Dorada springboard splash lands, but and other técnicos get other rudos with a 'ranas. One two NO all around. Aguila sidesteps Oro, who throws himself out of the ring. Aguila follows with a tope con giro. Meanwhile, Psicosis has Dorada with the layout front cracker and Olímpico finishes Valiente with the cristo negro. That's it. Nice match.
Match 3: Blue Panther, La Sombra ©, Shocker vs Felino, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas ©
Arena Mexico, 11/25/2011
rudos
Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 8:12
Rating: good for the angle
Notes: Why does the Peste Negra music start with Hawk saying “What A Rush?” Did they hit the Gronda button by mistake? Mr. Niebla (and Zacarias) is actually dressed as Hell Boy, but I could see how you might mistake that. Técnicos rush the rudos from behind, Sombra knocking Niebla off the stage and into stomping him in the crowd. Brawl. Ref is Tirantes.
1: Rudos still turn it around, tossing the técnicos around rather quickly despite the earlier advantage. Shocker is thrown and tapping to a crossface quickly, though I'm not sure if Tirantes notices before Shocker's kicked out. It's not ruled a tap out, as he’s brought back in after Panther is kicked around. Corner charges on Shocker, and Niebla lands the top rope splash to put him away. Backdrop and Felino elbow drop to finish Sombra. Zacarias has a gun! That seems like it's against the rules! It may be a gun made out of foam, I guess that's an exception.
2: Sombra's held and hit. Between his yellow shirt, the red of Mr. Niebla, and the usual colors of the other, this is a very brightly colored fight. Panther dragged around. Triple headbutt is not great timed. Niebla sets Sombra down on the fans and slaps him there. Felino hits Shocker on the outside. Which leaves Panther and Negro, and panther can easily slip in an armbar there. Panther get the submission, letting go is the harder part. Felino has no idea what just happened. Panther get his hand raised, then goes after Felino. Anklelock while biting the boot! Negro breaks it up, but Shocker runs him off, and panther goes back to attacking Felino. Sombra takes are of Niebla and Zacarias on the ramp. Nice replay of Sombra kicking Zacarias in the back of the head. Poor parrot.
3: Sombra and Niebla start. Sombra flipping run is stopped by a Niebla slap, and the Niebla dance. Spit is somewhat caught. Sombra sends him out with a push off headscissors, rolls the apron, slaps fights with him, and Niebla winds up and misses. Negro and Shocker in, chopping it out. Negro slips in a jawbreaker and kicks to the chest, but Shocker sneaks behind him in an inside cradle. One two NO. Negro up and nailing a heel kick. Wax on motions! Negro Casas is weird. Whip, hiptoss, by Shocker. Negro up and high kick. Shocker answers with one of his own, and Negro goes down and out. Shocker roll and pose. Panther in, Felino in. Felino kicks Panther, but gets caught in the ropes and thrown back. Short clothesline by Panther, who starts of the pin, goes for the foot bite, and switches to an ankle lock. Negro breaks it up. Whip, sunset flip, Felino rolls back and Sombra some what dropkicks him. Springboard head by Sombra, leapfrog, roll, and Felino lands the dropkick to the head. He gets him very weak. Felino barley clears the ropes on his corner springboard, but hits Sombra hard. Shocker tries a running boot to Negro, but misses and sends himself over. Negro follows with his apron silla – and then walks over and kisses some guy on the cheek. Negro Casas is great. Negro clothesline Panther. Scoop, slam, Niebla goes up - but Panther moves, and Niebla moonsault (!) misses. Double underhook hold, but the Casas are back to break it up. Whip, Negro spinebuster, scorpion, other rudos help stomp, and Tirantes calls for the fall. Rudos won’t stop, Felino shoves Tirantes away, Tirantes falls down, but charges and breaks it up to give Panther the win.
Rudos are only slightly annoyed. Negro dances and walks off. Felino stands over microphone, mocks the fans, and kicks Panther a few more times. Felino demands Panther listen to the crowd chant Felino, and the crowd actually chants for him. Clip, Panther gets the microphone, saying Felino will lose.
