Match 1: Camaleón & Höruz vs Cholo & Ramstein
Arena Mexico, 11/15/2011
rudos
Winner: técnicos
Match Time: 11:14
Rating: OK
Notes: Ref is Pompin, who is not dying his hair. Announcers are up to four. Ramstein has new black full body outfit, which better hides his gut.
1: Pairs are Camaleon/Ramstein and Höruz/Cholo. Mild Cholo chant! Most a rejection of Höruz, even after a nice flipping armdrag. Cholo is sent out via dropkick, and Höruz climbs the rope for more, but Ramstein runs over to tip him up, and Höruz about lands on his head tumbling to the mat. He may be done. Ramstein takes down Camaleon so Cholo can land a top rope splash on him, then finishes Höruz.
2: Beatdown, mostly individual brawling to start. Ramstein dumps Camaleon on the ramp railing. Both técnicos get a turn 2 on 1, then Höruz backflips to start the comeback bits.
3: Announcers sound bored. Höruz showcase includes a really good bit where he runs from the apron up the ropes for a springboard twisting armdrag, and a really poor bit where he stumbles climbing the ropes and falls to thee mat like a klutz. Crowd goes into hysterics. Höruz just tags out while the announcers note how hard it is to do these things. Camaleon has leaping shoulderblocks that are just funny. Camaleon dropkick Cholo out, and goes out with a slingshot plancha that looks nice. Höruz springboard Ramstein and drops him with a quebradora con giro without incident. Punch & kick blocks leads to a slam, and a standing moonsault for the pin. Announcers are still gigling about Horuz's mishap.
Match 2: Estrellita, Lady Apache, Silueta vs Amapola, Mima Shimoda, Tiffany
Arena Mexico, 11/15/2011
técnicas
Winner: rudas (2-1)
Match Time: 12:15
Rating: bad
Notes: Ref is Maya, who just wishes these women will go back to their corners already. Técnicas are all in white, rudos all in black.
1: Opening pair is Mima/Silueta.
Mima & Silueta exchange some quick pins to start before going to more complicated parts. They have to bring in Juan Maldad to explain Silueta winning the Reina Juniors title, a match that happened on this show in front of these announcers. Missile dropkick sens her out. Amapola sneaks in a dropkick on Silueta, but Silueta reverses a whip and dropkicks her back. It matters not, Amapola immediately trips her and crushes her with the running sit. Silueta has trouble with a roll over the back spot, but the armdrag from the shoulder but goes better. Amapola is quickly turning her around in the ropes and pulling her down by the hair. Lady Apache comes in for the tecnicas, but the move turn taking continues unabated. Rope flip armdrag by Apache looks good, faceslam spot where it's not clear who actually got hurt does not. Amapola spears the post and spins out of the ring, bringing in Tiffany. Tiffany losses track of Apache before running into an armdrag, then is completely lost on the next spot. This is followed by Apache whipping Tiffany, Tiffany reversing, and Apache reversing it again. What the heck. Apache charges, Tiffany flips her to the apron, Apache slaps and goes up, Apache flying armdrag, except Tiffany doesn't go with it. Fans, who've been patient up until now, boo strongly. Apache does a cartwheel pose and brings in Estrellita. Flying armdrag on Tiffany looks much better this time. Estrellita armdrags Tiffany out, then sort of springboard armdrags Mima. Quebradora con giro spot is badly aimed – Estrellita drops Mima's head on her knee, which sucked. Dropkick is shot from a very kind angle. Mima rolls out, and Silueta charges off the apron with a silla. Other four in, técnicas get the pins.
2: Mima and Silueta have a professional wrestling exchange, which is a big step in this match. Rudas charge the técnicas before they can do any more damage. They're totally not on the same page for whatever they want to do to want to do with Amapola, but Tiffany and Mima eventually hold her up so Amapola can dropkick her thru the ropes and to the ramp. Double hiptoss and ax kick to the head for Apache. Tiffany and Amapola double suplex Silueta, though it runs out to be Amapola doing all the work herself – Tiffany has bad timing here too. Amapola finishes Lady Apache, Mima finishes Estrellita, and Tiffany is late finishing Silueta, though her crab is extra painful.
3: Beatdown goes a couple minutes more, before Apache set up Estrellita into a headscissors on Mima. Apache armdrags the others. Everyone runs around, people do moves a bit randomly, and Tiffany and Silueta are left in. Silueta pin is broken up by Amapola superkick, and now everyone's just about back in. People are cleared out again until it's back to Tiffany and Estrellita. Amapola trips up Estrellita from outside, and Tiffany puts on hairpulling mecedora to finish her.
Tiffany beats up Estrellita after the match a bit.
Match 3: Ángel Azteca Jr., Diamante, Dragon Lee vs Euforia, Hooligan, Loco Max
Arena Mexico, 11/15/2011
técnicos
Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 11:10
Rating: OK, leaning towards good
Notes: Ref is Rodolfo
1: Pairs are Azteca/Hooligan, Lee/Euforia, Diamante/Loco. Hooligan is looking more Union Jack than usual. Loco runs back and forth on the apron for no apparent reason. Euforia is a great guy for Dragon lee to try his wacky moves on. Crowd is unusually excited to see Diamante. Height difference is big in that one. Diamante has a springboard tornillo armdrag to send Loco out, Loco evades for a bit on the outside, Diamante knocks him down, goes back in, and back out with a tope con giro that just touches Loco. Hooligan sends Angel Azteca on the top rope to his own demise, and Euforia equally feeds himself into Lee's finish. Crowd is unhappy.
2: Dragon Lee flips a lot against Euforia, including from his clothesline. Also, a springboard flip to the apron, followed by a springboard back in for a headscissors. Azteca has a big powerslam of Hooligan, but it's not enough for a pin. After a couple nice bits, springboard headscissors sends Hooligan out. Diamante bullies Loco Max in the corner, and Euforia steps into attack him from behind. Beatdown. Ring is cleared of all by Dragon Lee, and corner charges for him. Hooligan gets in the Tuareg low blow dropkick. Azteca held on the ropes, and Hooligan finishes him. Big backdrop sends up Loco's finish, and this is tied.
Euforia presses Dragon Lee over his head, and drops him face first on the apron for good measure. Third fall appears to have started when they start to get to second fall replays.
3: Beatdown doesn't last much longer. Diamante is accidentally backdropped into a sunset flip on Loco Max, Euforia tries to break it up, but gets Loco Max with his dropkick instead, Hooligan kicks out Diamante, Azteca missile dropkicks him, Euforia misses a dropkick on him, and takes Dragon Lee's flip floating headscissors. Azteca out on Hooligan with a tope con giro, Diamante teases a dive to get Euforia round the corner, and Dragon Lee lands a run up the ropes tope con giro. Announcers go wild. Diamante clothesline Loco Max for two. Whip, hiptoss. Loco Max flips Diamante to the apron, Diamante swing kicks him, then sort of lands the 4550 splash. One two three. Loco Max was way protecting himself on that one.
Stuka Jr. profile! Which may be reading from his wiki page.
Match 4: Rey Bucanero, Terrible, Texano vs Sagrado, Sangre Azteca, Stuka Jr.
Arena Mexico, 11/15/2011
TRT
Winner: TRT
Match Time: 9:20
Rating: fine for what is was.
Notes: Referee is Rodolfo
1: Opening pair is Bucanero/Sangre. The first two are exchanging holds when Texano does an excellent job of Running in, kicking Sangre in the face, and Running off into the crowd. Sangre recovers, though Bucanero gets him a hold for a bit. Sangre maneuvers to an Anaconda Vice, and Terrible pokes him in the back to break it up. Sangre and Stuka charge after him, and start a brawl, which TRT are more than happy to go with. Bucanero goes after Sangre's mask while Terrible and Texano destroy the other two. TRT come together to take out Stuka. They hand Sagrado in the tree of woe, and crotch Sangre around him. Camel clutch on both, and that's it. Fake Terrible approves.
2: Announcers are ever so well organized. Rudos still in charge. Sagrado kicked around. Sangre tries chopping everyone and gets beat. Sagrado is kicked questionably low, but Texano yells at Pompin for even thinking about the DQ. Texano is definitely in bodybuilding shape. Corner clothesline, rolling back elbow for Sangre. Stuka manages to duck a double clothesline and quebradora con giro Bucanero, then escapes a corner charge by other too only to get shoulderblocked down. Sagrado superkicks Texano, and spinebuster Terrible, then holds him for Sangre Azteca's low blow dropkick. Stuka up top – torpedo splash one two Texano and Terrible break it up! Announcers are surprised. Bucanero and Sagrado are cleared out, técnicos whip the others into each other, boost dropkick spot knocks the rudos out, Sangre pescado is caught, and Stuka tope only gets his partner. Sagrado swing kicks Bucanero, but gets caught going up and Bucanero tosses him off. TRT not quite on the same page, but end up holding Sagrado up for kicks and powerbombing him. Terrible has no idea the other two are doing the big drop, but just sits on top to join them for the straight fall win.
Match 5: Ángel de Oro, La Máscara ©, Super Porky vs Averno ©, Ephesto, Mephisto
Arena Mexico, 11/15/2011
técnicos
Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 12:37
Rating: good setup
Notes: Averno tries to jump La mascara, but he sees them coming and gets him with a headscissors. Mephisto makes the save, and the numbers favor the rudos since Porky can't get out of the ring. Ref is Maya.
1: Averno unties Mascara's mask as the other two are choked. Mascara goes into the announce desk. Announcers take a brief break from shoutouts to note the screaming man a meter away. Mascara's shirt has a short story written on it. He's really got to stand with his back for you for about five minutes to get it all. Maybe that works if he ever gets to the apron. Lying on the floor right now. Just brawling for quite a while. Rebound hiptoss and triple boot for Angel de Oro. Flying sit and face slaps for Porky. Mascara charges Averno, is held back, but spits in Averno's face. Averno reacts greatly, then smacks Oro around nearly to the point of disqualification. Double suplex on Porky and an Ephesto senton, but the rudos let him go too. Angel de Oro held off the apron so Averno can dropkick him, though he takes his time. That leaves the other rudos on the outside, so Máscara is free to go up – top rope headscissors. Drop toe hold, casita, one two three. Averno can't believe it, then realizes he needs to run before La Mascara gets to him again. Maya gets in between and yells at Mascara before he attacks between falls.
2: Rudos screw around on the ramp for a while. Averno holds up a small child. Finally, they all agree to come back to the ring. Porky showcase with Mephisto. Oro lands the outside in moonsault on Ephesto, and the other rudos rush in to break up the resulting pin. Boost dropkick gets rid of Mephisto, and Oro tags in Mascara to get Averno. Averno slides out the first chance he gets. Mascara spinning armdrag sends Ephesto out, Mascara gets into ac hop fight with Mephisto, strips off his shirt and rolls thru a sunset flip to land a dropkick. Two count – an actual pin. Máscara flipped to the apron, but he superkicks Averno from there and swing kicks Mephisto top rope armdrag sends Mephisto out, and Avernos' back in. Both stop to get the crowd going. Spinning headscissors, flipping armdrag, drop toe hold, casita, rudos are rush to break the pin. Técnicos cradle them up, one two NO. Rudos rammed into each other and técnicos put on the star. Mascara puts on the tapatías in the middle of it but Averno breaks free and rolls out. Rudos clear out Mascara. Mephisto runs into a Angle de Oro quebradora, Ephesto tries to elbow drop but get his partner, and Porky splashes both. Pin? No, the rudos are let back up so Porky can belly bump the out. Angel de Oro tope con giro onto both, the rudos just barely catching Oro from hitting his head on the floor. Porky tease the Asai, teases climbing up and just jumps on the pile. Mascara and Averno left in. Crowd gets into it. Off the ropes, Averno gets a kick. Devil's Wings, Máscara escapes, casadora into a campana, center of the ring, Averno gives.
Mascara immediately gets the microphone to challenge for NWA Historic championship. Averno takes his time slowly reaching down for the microphone, which appears to be his deal. And then Averno is no hurry to respond. Crowd chants mean things to Averno. Averno says Mascara got lucky once again, and he'll prove he's champion and better than Mascara in front of all his people.
