Match 1: Blue Panther, Héctor Garza ©, Super Porky vs Averno ©, Mephisto, Volador Jr.
Arena Mexico, 11/13/2011
rudos
Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 13:47
Rating: eh
Notes: Ref is Terror Chino. Hector Garza is not wearing one of his usual shirts (that sometimes have the CMLL logo on them), but a plain black long sleeve.
1: Averno and Porky are due to start, but Averno insists on starting with Panther. Good call. They have a battle on the mat. Highlight is Panther evading the suástica all the way into the cruz nipona, then a self double arm choke. Averno is eventually able to armdrag him to a standoff. Volador makes Porky look very slow. Garza gets the usual girl cheers. Garza slams Ephesto, steps on the second rope for the moonsault, and Averno shocks him by kicking the middle rope. Garza is left hanging in the ropes, and Volador right away lands the Guillotine Volador for the pin. Two man pump powerbomb on Panther, and Porky don't make it in until much too late.
2: Beatdown. Crowd doesn't seem to be reacting to Garza much differently than usual. They are booing at him a bit, but it's a small crowd and it's a rudo one. He even gets to start the comeback, flipping over the double clothesline. Panther bumps the rudos into each other and own in the corner, and Porky's whipped in for the big sit. Averno is in front and has the worst of it. Rudos escape before the second, but just by running into pins.
3: Porky is so fat right now. He loses his balance of a single Volador chest slap, and falls hard of a Volador shoulderblock. Volador runs into armdrags from there, and comically falls from Porky's hip check. Double splash to the others. Garza goes thru all the rudos in usual fashion. Panther wins the slap fight by just slapping Averno in the face, then turns a flipping armdrag into a cross armbreaker. Mephisto breaks it up, yells at Terror Chino for yelling at him, and pose on the middle rope. Panther quickly has him in the farmers roll, and it's Volador to make the save. Volador stop that, clear out the técnicos, and dropkicks panther off the apron with some help. Garza comes in, is eventually kicked out. Averno and Mephisto double suplex Porky and Volador backcrackers him for the win. Garza hurries to the back.
Highlights of the segunda: Dragon Lee, Metálico, Sensei vs Cancerbero, Nosferatu, Raziel
2-1: Nosferatu falls off the top rope due to “a knee injury”, Raziel submits Dragon Lee.
2-2: técnicos roll up Raziel when Cancerberos is paying no attention
2-3: Metálico jumps into a Raziel foul.
That looked poor.
