Match 1: Hijo del Fantasma vs Pólvora in a lightning match
Arena Mexico, 10/14/2011

Winner: Hijo del Fantasma
Match Time: 5:37
Rating: not good
Notes: Referee is Pompin.

Pólvora is in full slap, yell at the crowd, stand around for 10 seconds, and then missing a clothesline mood. After a pose off and a sit down flapjack, Pólvora goes to three different sides of the ring to yell before continuing. Corner clothesline, more yelling. Fantasma slides out, Pólvora slides out after him, Fantasma slides back in, Pólvora just says there, and Fantasma topes him. Back in, Fantasma handsprings in a bad looking Pólvora dropkick, though we saw it from the wrong side. Michinoku Driver by Pólvora for two. Pólvora sets Fantasma up top and goes for his mask, then pulls him down for a dropkick. Pólvora yanks off Fantamsa's shirt. Chest slaps and holding Fantasma to the ropes. Fantasma and Pólvora reverse hiptosses until Fantasma takes one to the apron but still lands on his feet. Swing kick, run up the ramp, pose, run back, and the Phantom Lariat is well timed. That's the match.

Match 2: Diamante, Fuego, Sangre Azteca © vs Rey Escorpión ©, Shigeo Okumura, Yoshihashi
Arena Mexico, 10/14/2011

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 13:26
Rating: okay
Notes: What in the world am I doing watching this show in 2012? I can see it's not a very good show with técnico Sangre Azteca and anything Yoshihashi involved. Referee is Rodolfo.

1: Cascading entries go Sangre, Okumura, Diamante, Yoshihashi, Okumura, Fuego. Quicker fall than the enterances. I still can't believe Yoshihashi spent all that time with different facepaint designs here and then he doesn't end up using any in Japan. Fuego does a straight flip off the apron after Escorpion, but Escorpion just moves and kicks him into the crowd. Diamante sets up Okumura, but Sangre Azteca takes a year and a half to climb up and Escorpion trips him him when he does. Yoshihashi lifts Diamante on his shoulders and Rey Escorpion wheel kicks him off a in nice bit. Escorpion holds Diamante down so Yoshihashi can get in his senton con giro, but has to hold him down in a way where it's not a pin, which confused Rodolfo briefly.

2: Rudos dropkick Diamante off the apron after a bit of a setup. Wheelbarrow bulldog for Sangre. Yoshihashi drops Fuego with his flipping neckbreaker, and the other rudos add dropkicks. Sangre ducks a double clothesline and dropkicks Yoshihashi out, the other rudos dropkick him out, the other técnicos dropkick them out, then both try springboard planchas. Diamante almost loses his balance, and spends a while trying to keep it before jumping off. Rey Escorpion jumps inside into a Sangre Azteca dropkick, and so end the fall.

3: Diamante/Escorpion includes a nice Escorpion counter of a 'rana into a pull up sit down powerbomb. Diamante gets his own torito for two. Escorpion slide out on Diamante, setting up a surprise Okumura clothesline in a a good spot. Fuego gets the best of the Japanese until Escorpion gets involved, and bumbles into knocking Yoshihashi out of the ring. Fuego draws Escorpion to the ramp, knocks him down, and Diamante with the stamping powerbomb to set up Sangre Azteca's low blow dropkick. Sangre tries to build it up big time, but the crowd does not really care. Okumura and Sangre have a double duck down, then Okumura gives Sangre a couple quebradoras. Rudo flashbacks for Sangre. Michinoku Driver gets two. Sangre misses a charge and flips to the floor, but Diamante gets Okumura with a headscissors. Yoshihashi sneaks in an inside cradle for two, then runs into a powerslam for two. Yoshihashi evades the 450 splash and drops Diamante with his Jackhammer (“Especial de Yoshihashi”) for the pin. JCR says this is a dark day for Diamante.

Yoshihashi immediately loses to a Fuego springboard 'rana. So it goes.

Fuego trips Escorpion into a flip off the ropes, but Escorpion turns the table and dumps Fuego to the floor, before landing his tope con giro to the floor. Sangre blows own corner missed dropkick flip, Okumura puts him on the top, Sangre shoves Okumura down and lands Escatacs Azteca for the win.

Match 3: Dragón Rojo Jr., Mr. Niebla ©, Último Guerrero vs Atlantis ©, Jushin Lyger, Shocker
Arena Mexico, 10/14/2011

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 9:06
Rating: eh
Notes: Guerreros enter together. Zacarias is with Niebla. Shocker is using his own song here. Monito is with him. Niebla attacks Zacarias, the last one out, to start the brawl. Tirantes is ref.

1: Brawling beatdown, though the rudos set up Dragon Rojo and Ultimo Guerrero's corner move. Amapola takes Sangre Azteca in the break up with Dragon Rojo, which the announcers do not react positively too. Atlantis pin is without much trouble. Rudos start to beat up Shocker, but then instead legdrop Monito.

2: Zacarias kicks Lyger. Lots of holding as the beatdown. Atlantis duck a double clothesline and foremars Niebla of the apron to start the comeback. Atlantis beats up Niebla around ringside as the others do the same. Monito tries to dropkick Zacarias. It does not go well. Tecnicos end up in and finish up without much trouble. Shocker sets up Monito on top and tosses him off for a splash on Dragon Rojo, but they forget the pin. Tirantes realizes Niebla is actually the captain, but gives up when the técnicos just start fooling around.

3: Lyger's slow offense is made up for by the posing he does after. Dragon Rojo does things twice to Shocker, and keeps falling the third time. Shocker double chop on Niebla sets up a running tope by Monito. Niebla and Atlantis get in at the same time, but UG attacks Atlantis from behind instead. Atlantis runs thru the Guerrero before monkey flipping Niebla out. Lyger spears Dragon Rojo and Shocker kicks out UG to set up a pescado one way and a top rope plancha the other way. Niebla clotheslines Atlantis to stat his dance, but runs into a quebradora, a quebradora, and a rana for three.
